Race 1 - CAPALABA CAR WORLD MAIDEN HEAT 1 MAIDEN 366m

Crazy Matrix – Checked at 200m. A post-race veterinary examination revealed an off-hind spike wound injury, under the provisions of GAR 41(1) the greyhound has been stood down from racing for 10 days.

Race 2 - JUST GREYHOUND PHOTOS MAIDEN HEAT 2 MAIDEN 366m

Race 3 - WYNNUM HAULAGE NOVICE 366m

Tim Harrison – Slow to begin. Checked and lost momentum at 200m. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant abnormalities

Race 4 - AMJ ENGINEERING & FABRICATION PREFERENTIAL BOX DRAW GRADE 5   366m

Oron Apatite – Checked and lost momentum at 200m. A post-race veterinary examination revealed a near-hind leg injury, under the provisions of GAR 41(1) the greyhound has been stood down from racing for 7 days.

Race 5 - SWOOSH FINANCE MIXED 4/5 366m

Stepney Green – Eased approaching the winning post. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant abnormalities. Stewards spoke to trainer Mr B McCarthy regarding the greyhound’s racing manners at that stage of the event, after hearing the steward’s observation, reviewing the video replay and the trainers’ submissions, stewards deemed that Stepney Green did fail to chase the lure with due commitment therefore invoked GAR 124 Failing to Pursue. Stepney Green was suspended from racing at Capalaba for 28 days and until the completion of one satisfactory steward’s trial prior to racing next.

Race 7 - COM A.V. COMMS AUDIO VISUAL INSTALLS BEST 8 366m

Zipping Parker – Checked and lost momentum at 100m. A post-race veterinary examination revealed a nearside pin injury, under the provisions of GAR 41(1) the greyhound has been stood down from racing for 7 days.

Race 8 - WAYNE HARRIS APRRECIATION 2024 5TH GRADE FINAL GRADE 5 366m
