Race 1 - CAPALABA CAR WORLD MAIDEN 366m

 

No matters of concern to stewards.

 

Race 2 -JUST GREYHOUND PHOTOS MAIDEN 366m  

 

7 Night Guard – Underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have no apparent injury.

 

Race 3 - WYNNUM HAULAGE NOVICE 366m

 

No matters of concern to stewards.

 

 

Race 4 - AMJ ENGINEERING & FABRICATION GRADE 5 (1) 366m

 

2 Sal’s Blue Boy – Checked shortly after the start. Underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have an injury to the offside groin and stood down for 10 days.

 

Race 5 - SWOOSH FINANCE GRADE 5 (2) 366m

 

3 Canya Hammer – Severely checked leaving the 100m. Underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have an injury to the offside pin muscle and stood down for 7 days.

 

Race 6 - TREVOR MCSHERRY CLASSIC GRADE 5 (3) 366m

 

No matters of concerns to stewards.

 

Race 7 – TAB MIXED 3/4 366m

 

3 Tommy Egan – Checked at the 200m. Underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have an injury to the offside hip and stood down for 10 days.

 

4 Tommy Air – Checked at the 200m. Underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have an injury to the offside hip and stood down for 10 days.

 

 

Race 8 - RACE REVOLUTION TIMING SYSTEMS 5TH GRADE FINAL GRADE 5 366m

 

6 Sarah’s Gold – Marginally slow away. Shifted in and checked numerous runners shortly after the start. Underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have no apparent injury.

 

Race 9 - SENTENCED AT STUD BEST 8 366m

 

1 Mahuika – Underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have an injury to the nearside back muscle and stood down for 42 days. Must complete a satisfactory trial before return to race.

 

Race 10 - ANNUAL PEST MANAGEMENT GRADE 5 (4) 366m

 

2 Spike Millington – Slow away. Underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have no apparent injury. Stewards spoke to trainer Mr R.Hassall regarding the greyhounds performance in todays event. Mr Hassall stated the greyhound is very green in racing with today being its fourth start. Mr Hassall further added that in his opinion the greyhound was a strong chance to win the event however did not begin as well as anticipated. Mr Hassall also stated that he supported the greyhound. Stewards noted this comments.

6 Future’s Changed – Underwent a pre-race veterinary examination and was declared fit to race.
