4 Anytime Romeo – Approaching the winning post was checked and appeared awkward in its action. A post-race veterinary examination revealed an injury to the nearside pin muscle. Under the provisions of GAR41(1) the greyhound was subsequently stood down from racing for 7 days. Stewards spoke to trainer P Sutton regarding the greyhound’s performance. After considering all available evidence the greyhound was given the benefit of the doubt.
