Race 1 - CAPALABA CAR WORLD MAIDEN 366m
1 Amarantha – Slow away. Shifted in and checked another runner shortly after the start. Shifted out and bumped another runner approaching the 200m. A post-race sample was taken.
Stewards questioned Mr Chris Brydon in relation to his two other greyhounds SUN DANCER and HOLLY MAGIC which had been scratched from the event. Stewards were satisfied with Mr Brydon’s explanation regarding the matter. |

8 Boston – Came up with the lids, slipped resulting in being slow away. Checked shortly after the start. Underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have no apparent injury.

6 Patonga Dave – Underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have an injury to the nearside stopper and stood down for 7 days. |

8 Blue Rex – Checked shortly after the start. Bumped on numerous occasions approaching the 200m. Clipped heels, shifted in and checked another runner approaching the 100m. Underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have no apparent injury. |

After reviewing all available replays stewards declared this event a NO RACE under GAR110(1), due to an error regarding the lure and the starting procedures, which had an adverse effect on the event. |

6 Crayfish – Severely checked shortly after the start. Shifted in and checked another runner approaching the 200m. Underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have no apparent injury. A secondary veterinary examination was conducted and found to have Offside hip support and stood down 7 days.
8 King Kambosos – Checked shortly after the start. Bumped on numerous occasions approaching the 200m. Shifted in leaving the 200m. Bumped on numerous occasions leaving the 100m. |
