3. Naval Choice – Approaching the 100 metres was checked and hampered by the outside runner. A post-race veterinarian examination revealed no significant findings. Stewards spoke to trainer Shane Staples regarding the greyhounds’ actions on the finish line, after considering all available evidence and submissions from the trainer, the greyhound was given the benefit of the doubt.
8. Magical Penny – Approaching the 100 metres turned its inwards towards the inside runner. Approaching the winning post turned its head outwards towards the outside runner. Steward’s spoke to trainer Stephen Neary regarding the greyhound’s racing manners. After considering all available evidence, Stewards invoked GAR 123 Marring (1st offence) – 28 days stand down at Capalaba and must complete a satisfactory steward’s trial prior to racing next. |

3. Pandora Flame – Began awkwardly. Approaching the 200 metres lost ground appearing injured. A post-race veterinarian examination revealed an offside shoulder injury and was stood down from racing for 21 days.
7. Rio Valour - Late scratching at 10:44am pursuant to GAR 92(2) when the greyhound was found to have an injury during kennelling, the greyhound has been stood down for 28 days and must complete a satisfactory trial prior to racing next. |
