2 Cake Is Yummy – Dragged down by another runner approaching the 300m mark. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant findings.
4 Shinro – Took it’s attention away from the lure leaving the boxes and momentarily eased approaching the 150m mark. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant findings. Steward’s spoke to trainer W.Nicholls regarding the greyhound’s racing manners. After considering all available evidence, Stewards invoked GAR 124 Fail to pursue (1st offence) – 28 days stand down at Capalaba and must complete a satisfactory steward’s trial prior to racing next.
