Race 1 - CAPALABA CAR WORLD MAIDEN HEAT 1 MAIDEN 366m

No matters of concern to Stewards.

Race 2 - JUST GREYHOUND PHOTOS MAIDEN HEAT 2 MAIDEN 366m

3 Koolboo Brookie – Shortly after the start was severely checked. A post-race veterinary examination revealed an injury to the nearside hamstring. Under the provisions of GAR41(1) the greyhound was subsequently stood down from racing for 5 days.

Race 3 - WYNNUM HAULAGE NPW 366m

4 Texas Diva – Approaching the finishing post appeared awkward in its action. A post-race veterinary examination revealed an injury to the nearside forearm. Under the provisions of GAR41(1) the greyhound was subsequently stood down from racing for 7 days.

Race 4 - AMJ ENGINEERING & FABRICATION MA5 366m

4 Emerald Dragon – Shortly after the finishing post appears awkward in its action. A post-race veterinary examination revealed an injury to the nearside foot. Under the provisions of GAR41(1) the greyhound was subsequently stood down from racing for 3 days.

4 Tommy Air – Approaching the finishing post appeared awkward in its action and gave ground. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant injury.

Race 7 - RACE REVOLUTION TIMING SYSTEMS MIXED 4/5 366m

2 Mung Bean – Shortly after the start goes up with the lids. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant injury.

Race 10 - TREVOR MCSHERRY CLASSIC 5TH GRADE HEAT 2 GRADE 5 366m

6 Philly Special – Late scratching at 10:58 pursuant to GAR 92(2) when the greyhound was found to have an injury to the offside toe during kennelling, the greyhound has been stood down for 10 days.

Race 12 - ANNUAL PEST MANAGEMENT 5TH GRADE HEAT 4 GRADE 5 366m

1 Tokyo’s Gem – Shortly after the 100m mark turns and makes muzzle contact with the runner to the inside. Steward’s spoke to trainer W Warner regarding the greyhound’s racing manners. After considering all available evidence, Stewards invoked GAR 123 Marring (1st offence) – 28 days stand down at Capalaba and must complete a satisfactory steward’s trial prior to racing next.
