General: Stewards conducted a ballot in the presence of club official E Cameron and licenced trainer G Falla to determine the order of reserves for the Jeffery Jones Celebration of Life as runners Red Sun and Bad Boy Elvis had run the same time in their respective heat.

 

Prior to the start of Race 7 the lure was required to be re positioned due to the strong winds. Race 7 went ahead without incident.

Race 1 - JUST GREYHOUND PHOTOS MAIDEN FINAL MAIDEN 366m

 

3 Old Days Checked and lost balance shortly after the start. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no apparent injury.

 

Race 2 - WYNNUM HAULAGE NOVICE 366m

 

6 Onslow Beach Clipped heels approaching the finish.

 

Race 3 - JEFFERY JONES CELEBRATION OF LIFE 5TH GRADE HEAT 1 GRADE 5 366m

 

6 Outlaw Ripple Muzzle became dislodged passing 200m. Ran the remaining stages of the race with muzzle hanging loose.

 

Race 4 - JEFFERY JONES CELEBRATION OF LIFE 5TH GRADE HEAT 2 GRADE 5 366m

Race 5 - AMJ ENGINEERING & FABRICATION GRADE 4 366m

 

5 Hanny Darrison Raced awkwardly approaching the finish. A post-race veterinary examination revealed a superficial cut to the off-hind leg, 0 Days stand down from racing.

 

Race 6 - JEFFERY JONES CELEBRATION OF LIFE 5TH GRADE HEAT 3 GRADE 5 366m

 

5 Borneo Brave Checked and lost balance shortly after the start.

 

8 Jilliby Eels Weakened approaching the finish. A post-race veterinary examination revealed a nearside hip injury, 14 days stand down from racing.

 

Race 7 - SWOOSH FINANCE 1-3 WINS FINAL 1-3 WINS 366m

 

1 Charlie Ash Proved difficult to box at the start and was subsequently endorsed BOX FIRST.

 

Race 8 - ANNUAL PEST MANAGEMENT MIXED 2/3 366m

Race 9 - JEFFERY JONES CELEBRATION OF LIFE 5TH GRADE HEAT 4 GRADE 5 366m

 

1 Big Suba Checked passing 200m, A post-race veterinary examination revealed an injury to the off side hip, 10 days stand down from racing.

 

4 Rich Tapestry Underwent a pre-race veterinary examination and was passed fit to race.

 

8 Viola Rumble Late Scratching, TAB 11.08am Injury, 10 days.

 

Race 10 - JEFFERY JONES CELEBRATION OF LIFE 5TH GRADE HEAT 5 GRADE 5 366m

 

1 Derice Late Scratching TAB 2:28pm, GAR 92(2). Underwent a pre-race veterinary examination which revealed an injury to the offside groin, 7 days stand down from racing.  

 

5 Too Hot A post-race veterinary examination revealed a minor toe injury, 0 days stand down from racing.
