The greyhound WINZAR performed a satisfactory 6 month trial over the distance of 520m in a time of 31.23.
HIGHLY SEDUCTIVE was best to begin. WINK ANNA NOD was slow to begin. Through the 1st turn TEETH GRIEF, TRANSMEDIA and WINK ANNA NOD all raced wide. Entering the back straight TILLY NO TAIL and HANK MOODY collided. TRANSMEDIA raced wide through the back straight. Entering the home straight HANK MOODY and TILLY NO TAIL collided.
RATATAT was best to begin. MY MATE LING was slow to begin. Shortly after the start JUST BE GUN was tightened for room between VELOCITY TINA and ROSABEL, resulting in JUST BE GUN losing ground. Through the top turn MY MATE LING checked off the heels of JUST BE GUN and lost ground. Approaching the finishing line ROSABEL ?????
Stewards advised trainer Mr. R Palmer that the greyhound ROSABEL would be charged under Rule 69 (B) Failing to Pursue plus injury, near side pin, 10 days plus a satisfactory stewards’ trial 520m all tracks.

3 – Novice 431m
Even start. Shortly after the start RAPIDO FURIOSO was tightened between OIDOS EXTRANOS and MAURY SPIRIT. At this stage WHAT’S FOREVER and PEBBLE BAY collided resulting in MUGGED ON TOUR being checked and losing some ground. Entering the back straight MACADAM shifted in checking OIDOS EXTRANOS. OIDOS EXTRANOS raced wide in the back straight. Entering the home straight PEBBLE BAY checked off the heels of MAURY SPIRIT. In the home straight MAURY SPIRIT shifted in checking WHAT’S FOREVER.
The greyhound OIDOS EXTRANOS was vetted and no apparent injuries were found.

4 – 5th Grade 431m
DEIJA MAGIC and CREDIT LIMIT were best to begin. NOT WORTH IT and RUSTY’S IMAGE were slow to begin. Through the 1st turn FARMOR OFF TAP and EARNING bumped continuously. Approaching the back straight DEIJA MAGIC and CREDIT LIMIT bumped continuously resulting in CREDIT LIMIT being checked causing further interference to RUSTY’S IMAGE and FARMOR OFF TAP. In the back straight DEIJA MAGIC checked off the heels of FEARLESS DUK and was forced to race wider on the track. RUSTY’S IMAGE raced wide through the top turn and throughout the home straight.

5 – 4/5th Grade 520m
MAYWYN’S YING and BRODIE’S MEMORY were best to begin. ROYAL ALBERT was slow to begin. Approaching the 1st turn FLASH ZOE and DOWN THEY CAME collided. Through the 1st turn DOWN THEY CAME checked off the heels of MAYWYN’S COPY resulting in DOWN THEY CAME racing wider on the track. A short distance later FLASH ZOE checked off the heels of KAWASAKI NINJA resulting in KAWASAKI NINJA becoming unbalanced and bumping MAYWYN’S COPY. DOWN THEY CAME raced wide throughout the back straight.

6 – Open Final 630m
SARAJEVO GIRL and HOUGENIE were best to begin. CYNDIE’S MAGIC and STARGATE SYSTEM were slow to begin. Through the 1st turn SHERIDON checked off the heels of GOLFING AMY resulting in COSMIC BOSS begin hampered. Entering the turn out of the front straight COSMIC BOSS checked off the heels of GOLFING AMY. Entering the back straight COSMIC BOSS was held up on the heels of GOLFING AMY and was checked. Entering the top turn COSMIC BOSS checked off the heels of GOLFING AMY and lost ground.
The track record was broke by HOUGENIE in a time of 36.90.

7 – Futurity Final 520m
HOUSO DELIGHT and SHEZA KEEN SIZE were best to begin. RUM RAMBLER and CASH IN MOTION were slow to begin. Shortly after the start RUM RAMBLER was tightened for room and lost ground between SERENE STAR and CASH IN MOTION. Through the front straight on the 1st occasion MAGIC KITCHEN checked off the heels of SERENE STAR. RUM RAMBLER raced wide throughout the 1st turn. PEARLS ANGEL also raced wide throughout the 1st turn. Through the top turn CASH IN MOTION checked off the heels of SERENE STAR.

8 – Derby Final 520m
KNOCKER was best to begin. ARISTOTLE was slow to begin. Approaching the 1st turn MACNIVEK checked off the heels of KNOCKER resulting in KNOCKER becoming unbalanced. Shortly after the start NORM THE STORM and PICTURES PEARCE collided resulting in PICTURES PEARCE being taken inwards checking ARISTOTLE. Through the 1st turn NORM THE STORM checked off the heels of CHEVALEIR NUIT. In the back straight ARISTOTLE checked off the heels of NORM THE STORM. Through the top turn ARISTOTLE checked off the heels of CHEVALEIR NUIT and lost ground. KNOCKER on jumping away.
The greyhound KNOCKER was vetted and no apparent injuries were found. Stewards interviewed trainer Mr. P Ruetschi in regards to the greyhound’s performance. Mr. Ruetschi stated to stewards that after beginning awkwardly and receiving some interference through the 1st turn he was seemingly disappointed with the greyhound’s performance. Mr. Ruetschi stated that he will advise stewards if anything came to light in the future with the greyhound but would be pushing on with the greyhound’s preparation in a fortnight if no abnormalities were detected.
Race 9 – 4th Grade 431m
SUPER LUIGI
was best to begin. Through the 1st
turn STUART’S CHOICE and HABANA FLEX were tightened for room and lost ground
between SHANAE’S MAGIC and GLOBAL DEEJAY.
Shortly after GLOBAL DEEJAY and FASHION ADVICE were both checked off the
heels of WAZZ’S FANTASY and lost ground.
Entering the back straight FASHION ADVICE checked off the heels of
GLOBAL DEEJAY. Entering the top turn
FASHION ADVICE checked off the heels of GLOBAL DEEJAY. Through the top turn FASHION ADVICE again
checked off the heels of GLOBAL DEEJAY.
Entering the home straight STUART’S CHOICE and GLOBAL DEEJAY collided.
The
greyhound FASHION ADVICE was vetted and found to have suffered an injury to the
near hind back muscle and was stood down for a period of 10 days. Trainer Ms. D Hannon advised stewards that
she would now send the greyhound for a 2 week freshen up.

10 – 5th Grade 431m
Due to a power malfunction over the concluding stages of the event, the stewards in consultation with the judge were satisfied with the placing’s and all clear was given.
ELUSIVE FUSION was best to begin. Shortly after the start SECRET OCTANE, BLIMZILLA and SUNDAY SUNRISE all raced tight. Through the 1st turn WALLY WHO CALLS checked off the heels of MISS HALLIUS. Entering the top turn MISS HALLIUS checked off the heels of ELUSIVE FUSION and lost ground.
