The following greyhounds were sent to the veterinary surgeon upon completion of their event, but were not found to be suffering any injury.

GENERAL

 

The greyhound NOOREE DESSA performed a satisfactory Return to Racing Trial 3 over the distance of 431m in a time of 24.98.

 

The greyhound KAWATI AS performed a satisfactory Return to Racing Trial 3 over the distance of 431m in a time of 25.62.

 

The greyhound MR. TRANSPORTER performed a satisfactory stewards’ trial over the distance of 431m in a time of 25.86 and is now cleared all tracks.

 

Race 1 – Maiden 431m

FERNLEE STAR was best to begin.  SHAYLOR HULA jumped awkwardly and was slow to begin.  SPEEDY’S MATE, GO BLACK BIDDY and AVOID DAMAGE bumped shortly after the start resulting in GO BLACK BIDDY losing ground and AVOID DAMAGE becoming unbalanced and losing ground.  SPEEDY’S MATE, POPULAR BELIEF, YOUNG DALLAS and RAISE ‘EM UP bumped approaching the turn into the back straight resulting in POPULAR BELIEF losing ground.  Shortly after YOUNG DALLAS checked across the heels of RAISE ‘EM UP, became unbalanced shifting out bumping SHAYLOR HULA, causing that greyhound to lose ground.  AVOID DAMAGE checked off the heels of SHAYLOR HULA and lost ground on the turn out of the back straight resulting in interference to YOUNG DALLAS.  SHAYLOR HULA and YOUNG DALLAS raced wide in the back straight.  SHAYLOR HULA and YOUNG DALLAS raced wide in the home straight.

 

Race 2 – Maiden 431m

Even start with WILDASH WIZARDS marginally slow to begin.  ROSDUE BLUE GUM shifted out as the start was effected bumping GIDDY UP PATSY onto SPRING HORNET, resulting in both greyhounds becoming unbalanced losing ground.  ROSDUE JITTERBUG also suffered interference as a result of the incident.  ROSDUE JITTERBUG lost ground dropping back onto RHONDDA MINER who became unbalanced and caused interference to SPRING LOLA.  ROSDUE JITTERBUG and ROSDUE BLUE GUM raced wide in the back straight.  ROSDUE BLUE GUM shifted in on the turn out of the back straight bumping ROSDUE JITTERBUG causing that greyhound to fall.  RHONDDA MINER checked off the heels of SPRING HORNET and lost some ground on the turn out of the back straight.  RHONDDA MINER checked across the heel of SPRING LOLA on the turn in the home straight.  GIDDY UP PATSY shifted out in the home straight bumping SPRING LOLA and causing that greyhound to race wide.  ROSDUE BLUE GUM raced wide in the home straight.

 

The greyhound ROSDUE JITTERBUG was vetted and found to have suffered an injury to the off hind toe and was stood down for a period of 8 weeks.

 

Race 3 – Novice 431m

The start of this race was delayed 2 minute due to interstate racing.

 

HASSIE’S HASSLE was best to begin.  PAW DIDEMIS and TOUCH OF CAJUN were slow to begin.  ROSUDE SPRITE was tightened for racing room and lost ground on the turn into the back straight.  PAW DIDEMIS and ROSDUE SPRITE bumped on the turn into the back straight resulting in both greyhounds losing some ground.  TOUCH OF CAJUN checked off the heels of BRALYN LUIGI and lost ground on the turn into the back straight.  TECHNO LEGEND was tightened between FREEZE FRAME and SKITTISH EXPRESS and lost ground on the turn out of the back straight.  ROSDUE SPRITE raced wide in the back straight.  TECHNO LEGEND and SKITTISH EXPRESS bumped on the turn out of the back straight. ROSDUE SPRITE raced wide in the home straight.

 

Race 4 – Novice 431m

GUNNER SUCCEED was difficult to load in the boxes.  GUNNER SUCCEED will be loaded 1st in future races.  ASTIN’S WARRIOR was best to begin.  MAX WEDGE was marginally slow to begin.  MOONSTONE MAGIC was slow to begin.  GENERAL HUNTER and GUNNER SUCCEED bumped shortly after the start causing some inconvenience to MAX WEDGE.  NOT ANOTHA GINGA, DASHING CHARGER and GENERAL HUNTER raced tight and bumped on the turn into the back straight resulting in interference to MAX WEDGE and DASHING CHARGER becoming unbalanced and losing ground.  GENERAL HUNTER checked across the heels of NOT ANOTHA GINGA and lost ground approaching the back straight.  GENERAL HUNTER raced wide in the back straight.  MOONSTONE MAGIC and MAX WEDGE bumped on the turn out of the back straight.

 

Race 5 – 4/5th Grade Final 431m

EL CAPO was best to begin.  HECTORMALEE and HARA’S SAMUEL bumped shortly after the start resulting in HARA’S SAMUEL losing some ground.  SPRING BIG IRON, HECTORMALEE and HARA’S SAMUEL raced very tight on the turn into the back straight, resulting in HECTORMALEE losing some ground.  SPRING BIG IRON checked off the heels of HARA’S SAMUEL and lost ground entering the back straight.  HARA’S SAMUEL checked across the heels off SPRING DODGER and lost ground on the turn out of the back straight.  SPRING BIG IRON checked off the heels of HECTORMALEE and lost ground on the turn out of the back straight.  SOCIAL DANCER and EL CAPO bumped just prior to the finish line.

 

Race 6 – 5th Grade Heat 1 431m

SUITE ALEXIS, GRAVITY WOLF and INSIDE PASS were best to begin.  ROSCO BANG BANG, DON’T DOUBLE UP and PEBBLE BAY all bumped approaching the turn into the back straight resulting in DON’T DOUBLE UP being tightened for racing room losing ground.  DON’T DOUBLE UP shifted out and bumped DETROIS MUSCLE on the turn into the back straight resulting in DETROIT MUSCLE falling and taking no further competitive part in the race.  PEBBLE BAY and ROSCO BANG BANG bumped heavily on the turn into the back straight resulting in both greyhounds becoming unbalanced and losing ground.  PEBBLE BAY checked off the heels of ROSCO BANG BANG and lost ground prior to entering the back straight.  PEBBLE BAY checked off the heels of DON’T DOUBLE UP and lost ground on the turn out of the back straight.  INSIDE PASS checked off the heels of PREMIER JET and lost ground on the turn out of the back straight.  Shortly after PREMIER JET checked off the heels of GRAVITY WOLF and lost ground.  INSIDE PASS and GRAVITY WOLF bumped on the turn into the home straight.  INSIDE PASS and ROSCO BANG BANG bumped in the home straight.

 

The greyhound DETROIT MUSCLE was vetted and no apparent injuries were found.

 

Race 7 – 5th Grade Heat 2 431m

The start of this race was delayed 1minute due to interstate racing.

 

PACIFIC CHAMP was best to begin.  SEIZED ASSET and SNOWBALL BOB were slow to begin.  MAGIC MINSTREL was tightened for racing room and lost ground approaching the turn into the back straight.  PACIFIC CHAMP and CALL ME AUSSIE bumped on the turn into the back straight resulting in both greyhounds becoming unbalanced.  MAGIC MINSTREL checked off the heels of PACIFIC CHAMP and lost ground on the turn into the back straight.  SNOWBALL BOB raced wide on the turn into the back straight.  CHEEKY CHEECH shifted out entering the back straight forcing ITALIAN MAGIC to race wide.  SEIZED ASSET checked off the heels of CALL ME AUSSIE and lost ground on the turn out of the back straight.  SNOWBALL BOB checked off the heels of MAGIC MINSTREL and lost ground on the turn out of the back straight.  PACIFIC CHAMP raced wide into the home straight.  CALL ME AUSSIE and ITALIAN MAGIC bumped in the home straight resulting in ITALIAN MAGIC becoming unbalanced and losing some ground.  PACIFIC CHAMP raced wide in the home straight.

 

Race 8 – 5th Grade Heat 3 431m

Even start with FYRE GAL marginally slow to begin.  GET INVOLVED was tightened for racing room and lost ground shortly after the start.  FYRE GAL checked off the heels of JANE’S JEZABEL and lost ground approaching the turn into the back straight.  JANE’S JEZABEL and BIG HARRY bumped approaching the turn into the back straight resulting in both greyhounds becoming unbalanced and losing some ground.  MR. REALITY shifted out on the turn into the back straight bumping BIG HARRY resulting in BIG HARRY becoming unbalanced, shifting out and bumping JANE’S JEZABEL.  All greyhounds lost ground as a result.  PARIS FRANCE checked off the heels of FYRE GAL and lost ground prior to entering the back straight.  MR. REALITY raced wide in the back straight.  PARIS FRANCE checked off the heels of JANE’S JEZABEL and lost ground on the turn out of the back straight.  FYRE GAL checked off the heels of MR.REALITY and lost ground on the turn out of the back straight.

 

The greyhound PARIS FRANCE was vetted and found to have suffered an injury to the near side hip and was stood down for a period of 10 days.

 

Race 9 – 5th Grade Heat 4 431m

KAMILAROI DUK was best to begin.  HEZA SIZE UP and MEMGEEBEE were slow to begin.  QUE SERA and SHAYLOR CLEDUS bumped shortly after the start resulting in QUE SERA becoming unbalanced and shifting in and bumping SPRING RAYMOND.  MAGIC MAGNUM checked off the heels of KAMILAROI DUK prior to the turn into the back straight resulting in interference to SHAYLOR CLEDUS and SPRING RAYMOND.  MEMGEEBEE checked off the heels of HEZA SIZE UP on the turn into the back straight resulting in MEMGEEBEE almost falling and losing some ground.  HEZA SIZE UP and LEHMAN BENZ bumped on the turn into the back straight resulting In HEZA SIZE UP losing ground.  SHAYLOR CLEDUS and KAMILAROI DUK bumped prior to the turn into the front straight.  LEHMAN BENZ and KAMILAROI DUK bumped on the turn into the home straight resulting in KAMILAROI DUK becoming unbalanced losing ground.  QUE SERA checked across the heels of HEZA SIZE UP and raced wide on the turn into the home straight.  KAMILAROI DUK checked off the heels of LEHMAN BENZ in the front straight.

 

The greyhound KAMILAROI DUK was vetted and found to have suffered an injury to the off side webbing and was stood down for a period of 21 days.

 

Race 10 – Masters 431m

REBBLE ROSE HI was best to begin.  SHRUB’S CRUSADER was slow into stride as the start was effected.  EL GALO GIRL, LIL’ BIT SPARKY and HER’S NOT HIS bumped shortly after the start resulting in LIL’ BIT SPARKY and EL GALO GIRL becoming unbalanced and losing ground back onto SHRUB’S CRUSADER who lost ground as a result.  MALLOURY QUEEN checked off the heels of REBBLE ROSE HI and lost ground on the turn into the back straight resulting in interference to HABANA FLEX, EL GALO GIRL and SHRUB’S CRUSADER.  SHRUB’S CRUSADER raced wide in the back straight.  HABANA FLEX checked off the heels of EL GALO GIRL and lost ground on the turn out of the back straight.  REBBLE ROSE HI and HER’S NOT HIS bumped in the front straight.  HER’S NOT HIS and BAIDEN ROSE HI bumped just prior to the finish line.
