Even start.  Shortly after the start TORPEDO MAN shifted out which hampered FERNLEE STAR.  Shortly after FERNLEE STAR came into contact with CYNO STEIN, causing both greyhounds to be checked and lose ground.  Entering the back straight MY MOJO was tightened for racing room, checked and lost ground.  Leaving the back straight CYNO STEIN shifted in and contacted the heels of MY MOJO and was checked.

SKY RACING MAIDEN 520M

Even start.  GOT THERE and ELITE BLUE BOY were both slow to begin.  Shortly after the start TABBERER was tightened for racing room, checked and lost ground.  Rounding the turn out of the front straight SHE’S SO SHADY and TABBERER collided, resulting in TABBERER being checked, it then shifted out and made contact with GOT THERE, which shifted out and made contact with YOUNG DALLAS resulting in both GOT THERE and YOUNG DALLAS being severely checked.  Entering the back straight SHE’S SO SHADY made heavy contact with the hindquarters of ARABIAN KHALEESE causing that greyhound to be checked and lose ground.  Shortly after TABBERER contacted the heels of ARABIAN KHALEESE causing that greyhound to be checked.

ROSEWOOD & DISTRICT COMMUNITY BANK NOVICE 431M

Even start.  FAMOUS FOR FUN was slow to begin.  Shortly after the start TOUCH OF CAJUN was tightened for racing room.  In the back straight GUN DANCER clipped the heels of MISTER DEBONAIR and was momentarily hampered.  Leaving the back straight FAMOUS FOR FUN was tightened racing room, checked and lost ground.  Rounding the turn into the front straight FAMOUS FOR FUN checked across the heels of GUN DANCER and was momentarily hampered.  TOUCH OF CAJUN was hampered as a result of this incident.

SCOTT O’TOOLE PAINTER NOVICE 520M

Even start.  DUSTY WAY was tightened for racing room shortly after the start, checked and lost ground.  Leaving the front straight CINCINNATI JUICE was tightened for racing room and made contact with the running rail, checked and lost ground.  Leaving the front straight FLASHMAN SAM crossed over the heels of MAGIC SPARKLE causing it to be checked and lose momentum.  In the back straight CINCINNATI JUICE was tightened for racing room, checked and lost ground.  When leaving the back straight FLASHMAN SAM appeared to ease. The greyhound FLASHMAN SAM was vetted and found to have suffered an injury to the near side hip and was stood down for a period of 10 days.

 

The greyhound CINCINNATI JUICE was vetted and no apparent injuries were found.

O’REILLY PET FOODS NOVICE 520M

DASHING BRADSTA was best to begin.  Shortly after the start LEGACY CHIEF shifted in and crossed over the heels of DASHING BRADSTA and was momentarily hampered.  Leaving the front straight ELOITE COMANDO contacted the heels of UNIQUE KALEESI causing that greyhound to be checked.  Entering the back straight CYNO ROSE clipped the heels of UNIQUE KALEESI causing CYNO ROSE to fall and was retired from the race.  Leaving the back straight LEGACY CHIEF was tightened for racing room, checked and lost ground.

 

The greyhound CYNO ROSE was vetted and no apparent injuries were found.

MAYWYN WILL WIN was best to begin.  GIFTED ANGEL was slow to muster speed in the early stages.  Approaching the turn into the back straight SMART SPIRIT crossed over the heels of MAYWYN WILL WIN, shifted out and made contact with ISSY COOL causing both greyhounds to be checked.  MAYWYN WILL WIN shifted out rounding the turn into the front straight and made contact with SMART SPIRIT causing that greyhound to be checked.  In the front straight BOOTY BEACH shifted in and tightened the racing room of DOOLEY’S HOBO causing that greyhound to be hampered.  In the run to the finish SMART SPIRIT shifted in and made muzzle contact with MAYWYN WILL WIN causing that greyhound to be hampered.

 

Stewards advised trainer Mr. R Burman that the greyhound SMART SPIRIT would be charged under Rule 69 Marring, 2nd offence, 3 months plus a satisfactory stewards’ trial 520m all tracks.

DASH OF FAITH was best to begin.  Approaching the turn into the back straight SHAYLOR SAM and SCAR’S BROTHER collided causing both greyhounds to be checked.  Entering the back straight DOOLEY’S SPRITE was tightened racing room, checked and lost ground.

MINNIE IMPACT and TORQUE FLIGHT were best to begin.  PARCHMENT and I’M ALL STRIPES were slow out.  Leaving the back straight MINNIE IMPACT was tightened for racing room, checked and lost ground.

Even start.  DOUBLE STORM was slow to begin.  Entering the back straight MR. TRANSPORTER was tightened racing room, checked and lost ground.  Leaving the back straight SUPA SMOOTH OSTI was tightened for racing room, checked and lost ground.

SPRING BIG IRON was best to begin.  GUNNADOO RAIDER was slow out.  Approaching the turn into the back straight HER’S NOT HIS was tightened for racing room and momentarily hampered.  Shortly after MUGGED ON TOUR and GLORIOUS WINTER collided causing both greyhounds to be checked.  Leaving the back straight SHE’S NOT HIS was tightened for racing room, checked and lost ground.  GLORIOUS WINTER gave ground over the concluding stages.

 

The greyhound GLORIOUS WINTER was vetted and found to have suffered an injury to the off side pin and was stood down for a period of 10 days.
