greyhound MR. BATTISTUZZI performed a satisfactory stewards’ trial over the
distance of 431m in a time of 30.54 and is now cleared to nominate all tracks
except Brisbane after 23 March 2016. Return
to Racing Trial 1 – 431m The greyhound
UPBEAT TEMPO performed a satisfactory Return to Racing Trial 2 over the
distance of 431m in a time of 26.59. |

FERNLEE STAR was tightened for racing room and was momentarily hampered. In the back straight SHEZA RULER contacted
the heels of ELITE BLUE BOY and was checked as a consequence. The greyhound SHEZA RULER was vetted
and no apparent injuries were found. |

SKY RACING MAIDEN 520M Even start. Rounding the turn out of the front straight
GO BLACK BIDDY was tightened for racing room, checked and shifted out making
contact with SPRING ABBY, which in turn made contact with WISH YOU WILL
causing all 3 greyhounds to be checked and lose ground. MCCAW MCCAW was hampered as a result of
this incident. Rounding the turn into
the front straight CYNO CANDY and MCCAW MCCAW collided causing both
greyhounds to be checked. In the front
straight SPRING ABBY and GO BLACK BIDDY collided. |

BANK NOVICE 431M Even
start. Approaching the turn into the
back straight DUCHESS DOLLY and VELOCITY EBONY were tightened for racing
room, checked and lost ground. FONIC
THUNDER which was trailing was severely checked and fell and took no further
competitive part in the race. FARMOR
KABOOM was checked as a result of this incident. The
greyhound FONIC THUNDER was vetted and found to have suffered an injury to
the near side hock and was stood down for a period of 10 days. |

SCOTT O’TOOLE PAINTER NOVICE 520M Even start. DUSTY WAY was slow to begin. Shortly after the start CYNO GENERAL was
tightened for racing room, checked and lost ground. Leaving the back straight MAKE THE MOST was
checked when BOLD AS BRASH shifted out.
TINY TEMPAH which was trailing was checked as a consequence. |

PET FOODS NOVICE 520M REFUND REQUIRED was best to
begin. RAISE ‘EM UP was slow out. Leaving the front straight ORANGE THUNDER
shifted in and made contact with LOCHILIME causing that greyhound to be
checked. LEGACY CHIEF and SPEAR IT
which were trailing were checked as a consequence. LOCHILIME was tightened for racing room in
the back straight, checked and lost ground.
ELITE COMANDO raced wide in the front straight. |

were best to begin. VEGAS BOUND was
slow out. Approaching the turn into
the back straight MAYWYN WILL WIN and SHADEENA collided resulting in both greyhounds
being severely checked and lose ground.
Entering the back straight VEGAS BOUND was tightened for racing room,
checked and lost ground. The greyhound VEGAS BOUND was vetted
and no apparent injuries were found. |

GRADE 520M OREO DELIGHT was best to begin. Shortly after the start CYNO MIRAGE, ZARA
GIRL and SCAR’S BROTHER were all tightened for racing room, checked and lost
ground. |

SURGEON 3/4th GRADE 520M Even start. I’M ALL STRIPES commenced to give ground
leaving the front straight and finished a considerable distance from the
remainder of the field. The
greyhound I’M ALL STRIPES was vetted and found to have suffered an injury to
the near hind back muscle and was stood down for a period of 21 days. |

BANK 4/5th GRADE 431M KING’S GEM and HARRY BAILEY were
best to begin. ANTI DENTITE was slow
out. Shortly after the start SPRING
PLANET was tightened for racing room, checked and lost ground. Approaching the turn into the back straight
HARRY BAILEY shifted in and tightened the racing room of SPRING DODGER, EL
CAPO, HEIDI BENZ and KING’S GEM, resulting in all 4 greyhounds being checked
and lose ground. DON’T DOUBLE UP was
checked as a result of this incident. |
