MAYWYN IF LUCKY was slow to begin.  Shortly after SLEDGE HAMMER and FERNLEE STAR collided and both became unbalanced.  Into the 1st turn there was tightening between STRIKE OIL, SLEDGE HAMMER, PENCIL, SEA LEGS and MAYWYN IF LUCKY.  All greyhounds suffered interference to various degrees and lost ground.  As a consequence MAYWYN IF LUCKY fell.  STRIKE OIL, SLEDGE HAMMER and PENCIL all race wide in the back and home straights.

 

The greyhound MAYWYN IF LUCKY was vetted and no apparent injuries were found.

SKY RACING MAIDEN 431M

Even start with COUP DE KAHN beginning awkwardly.  Shortly after LUCKY MARLOW was tightened for room and lost its position.  Into the first turn BENTAXLE clipped the heels of LUCKY MARLOW and fell.  WILDASH GEE and SPRING MARSHALL bumped on several occasions through the 1st turn.  Leaving the 1st turn LUCKY MARLOW improved onto COUP DE KAHN and lost ground.  Approaching the back turn FROSTY ZERO shifted in tightening the running of LUCKY MARLOW.  WILDASH GEE and SPRING MARSHALL both raced wide in both the straights.

 

The greyhound BENTAXLE was vetted and no apparent injuries were found.

ROSEWOOD & DISTRICT COMMUNITY BANK NOVICE 431M

RYLI’S MIA and FARMOR DIVA were best to begin.  Through the 1st turn VENETIAN RESULTS and MAKE THE MOST bumped.  GUMTREE KID which was racing to the outside became unbalanced.  Leaving the 1st turn VENETIAN RESULTS was tightened and checked across heels losing ground.  Through the home turn MAKE THE MOST checked across the heels of RYLI’S MIA.  VENETIAN RESULTS and RYLI’S MIA both raced wide for the majority.

GREYHOUND-DATA.COM NOVICE 431M

PETITE ZIP ZIP and ELL’S ALL CLAsS were best to begin with SIZEABLE and RAISE ‘EM UP being slowest.  Into the 1st turn GNARLEY GIRL was crowded for room and lost its position.  Shortly after PENNYLESS, RHONDDA MINER and SIZEABLE raced tight resulting in PENNYLESS and RHONDDA MINER becoming unbalanced and losing ground.  PENNYLESS and RHONDDA MINER both raced wide throughout.  Over the concluding stages RAISE ‘EM UP failed to pursue the lure.

 

The greyhound RAISE ‘EM UP was vetted and no apparent injuries were found.  Stewards advised trainer’s representative Mr. PA O’Reilly that the greyhound would be charged under Rule 69 (A) Failing to Pursue, 1st offence, 28 days plus a satisfactory stewards’ trial 431m all tracks.

SCOTT O’TOOLE PAINTER 5th GRADE HEAT 1 431M

FAMECHON was best to begin.  Into the 1st turn FAMECHON was crowded for room and lost its position.  CALL ME AUSSIE and DOUBLE STORM which were following were severely inconvenienced as a result.  MAYWYN WILL WIN, DOUBLE STORM and CALL ME AUSSIE raced wide for the majority.

 

The greyhound FAMECHON was vetted and no apparent injuries were found.

6.

O’REILLY PET FOODS 5th GRADE HEAT 2 431M

SPRING AGUSTUS, QUE SERA and CHEEKY CHEECH were best to begin.  Through the 1st turn QUE SERA and CHEEKY CHEECH collided.  In the back straight CAPTAIN’S KNOCK contacted the heels of SHINTARO STAR.  Both lost ground.  BIG YELLOW TAXI which was trailling suffered interference as a result.  Approaching the back turn CHEEKY CHEECH shifted in clipping the heels of SPRING AGUSTUS, resulting in CHEEKY CHEECH falling.  BANG ON TARGET and QUE SERA raced wide in both the straights.

 

The greyhound CHEEKY CHEECH was vetted and no apparent injuries were found.

C2C CONSTRUCTIONS 5th GRADE FINAL 431M

PAW DIDEMIS was slow to begin.  In the 1st turn there was tightening from FRENCH IDOL, DODGY DANCER, HASSIE’S HASSLE and RYLI’S RANGA.  DODGY DANCER, HASSIE’S HASSLE and RYLI’S RANGA lost ground.  DODGY DANCER and RYLI’S RANGA both raced wide for the majority of the race.

GREG STERNBERG VET SURGEON 4/5th GRADE 520M

APATITE was best to begin.  Shortly after SPRING BEAUTY raced in restricted room losing its position.  Approaching the 1st turn MAYWYN’S COPY was tightened and lost ground.  Leaving the 1st turn WALLOON WIZARD checked off the heels of MAYWYN’S COPY and lost ground.  LEISURE SEEKER which was following was inconvenienced as a result.  Rounding the home turn WALLOON WIZARD and LEISURE SEEKER collided resulting in both Greyhounds to became momentarily unbalanced.  WALLOONWIZARD, LEISURE SEEKER and BOOM WARRIOR all raced wide for the majority of the race.

ROSEWOOD & DISTRICT COMMUNITY BANK 5th GRADE HEAT 3 431M

BAK TO BUSINESS was best to begin with DARCY’S CURSE being slowest.  Shortly after the start ISA STAR was tightened and lost its position.  Leaving the 1st turn HECTORMALEE checked across heels and lost ground.  DARCY’S CURSE was inconvenienced in this incident.  Approaching the back turn MUGGED ON TOUR was tightened and lost ground.  GAGAN NANCY which was racing to its outside suffered interference.

RYLI’S RAMBO was slow to begin.  Into the 1st turn KING’S GEM and THRILLA MACHINE bumped.  Both Greyhounds  became momentarily unbalanced.  Through the 1st turn MALLOURY QUEEN was checked and blundered losing ground.  Approaching the back turn KING’S GEM shifted in hampering RYLI’S RAMBO causing that greyhound to lose its position.  DASHING CHARGE raced wide for the majority.
