Trial 1 – 431m The
greyhound TECHNO LEGEND performed a satisfactory stewards’ trial over the
distance of 431m in a time of 25.72 and is now cleared all tracks. Stewards
Trial 2 – 431m The
greyhound ZINZAN BROOKE performed a satisfactory stewards’ trial over the
distance of 431m in a time of 24.94 and is now cleared all tracks except
Capalaba. The
greyhound LAW LEGEND performed a satisfactory stewards’ trial over the
distance of 431m in a time of 25.01 and is now cleared all tracks except
Rockhampton. |
RACE REPORTS |

LAYLA LO slow to begin. Shortly after
the start RYAN ROAD, LALIQUE, SPRING MARSHALL, SPRING ECLIPSE and LUCKY
MARLOW all collided resulting in LALIQUE and SPRING ECLIPSE being checked. Shortly after LUCKY MARLOW continued to
shift in tightening the running of SPRING MARSHALL which was checked. RYAN ROAD was hampered as a result of this
incident, as was LAYLA LO. RYAN ROAD
raced wide in the back straight. Out
of the back straight into the turn LUCKY MARLOW collided with the running
rail and lost ground. RYAN ROAD, ICE
PANTHER and SPRING MARSHALL which were all trailing were checked as a
result. RYAN ROAD raced wide in the
front straight. The greyhound LUCKY MARLOW was
vetted and no apparent injuries were found. |

SKY RACING MAIDEN 431M LADY TECHNO was best to begin with
HUNTER’S A STAR and FIT OUT slow to being.
Through the turn into the back straight COUP DE KAHN shifted in
tightening the running of ZIP ALONG BOY which was checked. Shortly after MIDNIGHT DASHER improved onto
the heels of GALLARI and shifted out, resulting in CHOPPER NORRIS being
hampered and forced out wider on the track.
On entering the back straight FIT OUT shifted out to avoid the heels
of ZIP ALONG BOY and collided with CHOPPER NORRIS, resulting in CHOPPER
NORRIS being hampered and FIT OUT being checked. Out of the back straight into the turn LADY
TECHNO became unbalanced, shifted in and bumped MIDNIGHT DASHER and lost
ground. The
greyhound LADY TECHNO was vetted and found to have suffered an injury to the
off side shoulder and was stood down for a period of 10 days. |

ROSEWOOD & DISTRICT COMMUNITY
BANK NOVICE 431M ZABDON VUITTON was best to begin
with COUTA GODDESS slow to begin.
Through the turn into the back straight COMPLETE CONTROL was tightened
for room and checked. JUST PRETEND
which was trailing was checked as a result.
YOU MAYBE RIGHT was hampered as a result of this incident. Out of the back straight into the turn
COMPLETE CONTROL shifted in tightening the running of YOU MAYBE RIGHT which
was hampered. COUTA GODDESS which was
trailing collided with the running rail and was checked as a result. Through the turn into the front straight
JUST PRETEND collided with SPRING TRIXIE, resulting in JUST PRETEND being
checked and shifting out wider on the track.
SPRING TRIXIE raced wide in the back and front straights. JUST PRETEND raced wide in the front straight. The greyhound COUTA GODDESS was
vetted and no apparent injuries were found. |

GREYHOUND-DATA.COM NOVICE 431M RYLI’S MIA was best to begin with
OUTBACK SPARKLE and ELL’S ALL CLASS slow to begin. Shortly after the start AVOID DAMAGE and
KYOTO KAHN bumped on several occasions.
Out of the turn into the back straight ELL’S ALL CLASS improved onto
the heels of AVOID DAMAGE which was checked as a result. On entering the back straight RYLI’S MIA,
ALOTA CONTROL and THURSDAY WIZARD all collided resulting in all 3 runners
being severely checked. Shortly after
ELL’S ALL CLASS improved onto the heels of OUTBACK SPARKLE resulting in
OUTBACK SPARKLE falling and taking no further part in the event. In the back straight ELL’S ALL CLASS bumped
ALOTA CONTROL resulting in ALOTA CONTROL being hampered. Out of the back straight into the turn
RYLI’S MIA ceased running and took no further part in the event. Shortly after ELL’S ALL CLASS shifted in
tightening the running of AVOID DAMAGE which was checked. ALOTA CONTROL which was trailing was
hampered. The greyhound ALOTA CONTROL was
vetted and no apparent injuries were found. The
greyhound OUTBACK SPARKLE was vetted and found to have suffered an injury to
the off side hock and was humanely euthanised. The
greyhound KYOTO KAHN was vetted and found to have suffered an injury to the
near hind foot and was stood down for a period of 14 days. The
greyhound RYLI’S MIA was vetted and found to have suffered an injury to the
off FORE LEG and was stood down for a period of 10 days. |

SCOTT
O’TOOLE PAINTER 5th GRADE 520M LEISURE SEEKER and ANOTHER HASSLER
were best to begin with EL MUFASA slow to begin. Shortly after the start OREO DELICIOUS was
tightened for room and hampered.
Shortly after LEISURE SEEKER was tightened for room and hampered. On entering the turn EL MUFASA collided
with the rail, shifted out contacting the hindquarters of UNIQUE AFFAIR. EL MUFASA then continued to shift out and
collided heavily with SPRING BEAUTY, which was then taken out and collided
heavily with OREO DELICIOUS. OREO
DELICIOUS and SPRING BEAUTY both fell as a result of this incident. OREO DELICIOUS took no further part in the
event. SPRING BEAUTY took no further
competitive part in the event. Through
the turn into the front straight UNIQUE GHOSTY was tightened for room and
checked. EL MUFASA raced wide in the
back straight. Through the turn into
the back straight LEISURE SEEKER visibly eased for no apparent reason. The greyhound SPRING BEAUTY was
vetted and no apparent injuries were found. The greyhound EL MUFASA was vetted
and no apparent injuries were found. The greyhound LEISURE SEEKER was
vetted and no apparent injuries were found.
Stewards advised trainer Mr. C Byers that the greyhound would be
charged under Rule 69 (A) Failing to Pursue, 1st offence, 28 days
plus a satisfactory stewards’ trial 520m all tracks. The
greyhound OREO DELICIOUS was vetted and found to have suffered an injury to
the back and was humanely euthanised. |

GRADE FINAL 431M SPRING AGUSTUS was best to begin
with THRILLA MACHINE slow to begin.
Shortly after the start MAYWYN ZILCH was tightened for room and
hampered. Through the 1st
turn SPRING AGUSTUS shifted in tightening the running of THIS TIME MADDIE,
KING’S GEM and UNIQUE MOTIVE resulting in all 3 runners being checked. HARA’S SAMUEL which was trailing improved
onto the heels of THIS TIME MADDIE, resulting in both greyhounds being
severely checked. SPRING BIG IRON
which was trailing was checked as a result of this incident. On entering the front straight SPRING BIG
IRON and MAYWYN ZILCH bumped. |

GRADE HEAT 1 431M HASSIE’S HASSLE was best to begin
with GLENALLON RINGO slow to begin.
Shortly after the start RUM RAMBLER, GOT THE ATTITUDE and BAIDEN ROSE
HI all collided, resulting in GOT THE ATTITUDE being hampered. Shortly after CALL ME AUSSIE improved onto
the heels of HASSIE’S HASSLE, resulting in HASSIE’S HASSLE being hampered and
losing ground. RUM RAMBLER and GOT THE
ATTITUDE raced wide in the back straight.

SURGEON 4/5th GRADE HEAT 2 431M BORN LEGACY was best to
begin. Shortly after the start INNER
WISDOM was tightened for room, shifted out and collided with MIRANDA ROSE HI,
resulting in both runners being hampered.
CAPTAIN’S KNOCK was tightened for room shortly after the start and
lost ground. Through the turn into the back straight GRIN AND WIN was
tightened for room and checked. GRIN
AND WIN then improved onto the heels of TRUE VIKING and was hampered. INNER WISDOM raced wide in the back
straight. Out of the back straight
into the turn CAPTAIN’S KNOCK and MIRANDA ROSE HI were both tightened for
room and checked. Shortly after LACHIE
LYNDAN improved onto the heels of BORN LEGACY, resulting in both runners
being hampered. Through the turn into
the front straight TRUE VIKING improved onto the heels of MIRANDA ROSE HI,
resulting in both runners being hampered.
Over the concluding stages INNER WISDOM and CAPTAIN’S KNOCK bumped. |

were best to begin. FABULOUS STORM was
slow to begin. Shortly after the start
RIVER ROSE HI and HOT LIKE SUNSET bumped.
Through the turn into the back straight RYLI’S CAM, MOZZARELLA, RIVER
ROSE HI and HOT LIKE SUNSET all raced tight, resulting in RIVER ROSE HI being
checked and MOZZARELLA and HOT LIKE SUNSET being hampered. Shortly after MOZZARELLA and HOT LIKE
SUNSET bumped. CHEEKY CHEECH raced
wide in the back straight. Out of the
back straight into the turn RIVER ROSE HI was tightened for room and

were best to begin. KIKEM SPRINGER was
slow to begin. Shortly after the start
OUT WEST was tightened for room and lost ground. Out of the turn into the back straight OUT
WEST and DOUBLE STORM collided, resulting in OUT WEST being checked. VELOCITY CLOVER collided with OUT WEST and
was checked. Out of the back straight
into the turn STORM ROSE HI and QUE SERA collided, resulting in QUE SERA being
checked. KIKEM SPRINGER raced wide in
the front and back straights. In the
front straight DOUBLE STORM shifted out to avoid the heels of STORM ROSE HI. |
