DEAL and FROSTY ZERO were all slow to begin.
MCCAW MCCAW and SPRING DEAL bumped shortly
after the start resulting in both greyhounds losing some ground. MCCAW MCCAW
checked off the heels of LADY STARGAZER and lost ground on the turn out of
the front straight on the 1st occasion. MCCAW MCCAW
shifted out on the turn out of the front straight on the 1st
occasion inconveniencing FROSTY ZERO who became unbalanced and bumped SPRING
DEAL, causing that greyhound to also become unbalanced and lose ground. CHIEF CHEROKEE and LADY STARGAZER bumped on
the turn into the back straight with some inconvenience to CHIEF
CHEROKEE. MCCAW MCCAW
raced wide in the back straight. The greyhound LALIQUE was vetted and
no apparent injuries were found. The greyhound CHIEF CHEROKEE was
vetted and no apparent injuries were found. Stewards advised trainer Ms. N Peters that the greyhound would be charged under
Rule 71 Unsatisfactory Performance, must perform a satisfactory stewards’
trial 520m all tracks prior to nominating. |

SKY RACING MAIDEN FINAL 520M WISH YOU WILL was best to
begin. SPRING ABBY, MY SUPER and WITCH
HUNTER bumped shortly after the start, resulting in all 3 greyhounds being
tightened and losing some ground.
UNDER ADVICE shifted in on the turn out of the front straight on the 1st
occasion checking ZIVA’S LASS who became unbalanced and checked across the
heels of MY SUPER, causing MY SUPER to lose some ground. ZIVA’S LASS continued to shift out bumping
KATE GELZINNIS, who in turn caused interference to WITCH HUNTER. ZIVA’S LASS, WITCH HUNTER and KATIE GELZINNIS
all lost considerable ground as a result.
KATIE GELZINNIS and WITCH HUNTER were forced to race wide on the turn
into the back straight. SPRING ABBY
checked across the heels of MY SUPER and lost some ground on the turn into
the front straight. WISH YOU WILL
raced wide into the home straight. |

BANK NOVICE 431M Stewards
issued a warning to trainer Mr. R Herr in relation
to dress code at a TAB meeting and Mr. Herr was
informed that his dress was unacceptable and to ensure he had the correct
attire before again attending a TAB meeting. Even
start with ZINZAN BROOKE marginally slow to begin. KASEY’S TURBO and ALOTA CONTROL bumped
shortly after the start, resulting in KASEY’S TURBO becoming unbalanced and
losing ground. ALOTA CONTROL and
GALLARI bumped on the turn into the back straight resulting in GALLARI losing
ground and checking PREPARE YOURSELF who lost ground as a result. SUPERFLUOUS checked off the heels of
GALLARI and lost ground on the turn into the back straight. ZINZAN BROOKE checked off the heels of
ALOTA CONTROL and lost ground prior to entering the back straight. PREPARE YOURSELF and KASEY’S TURBO bumped
on the turn out of the back straight. The
greyhound PREPARE YOURSELF was vetted and no apparent injuries were found. |

GATTON TYRE SERVICE NOVICE 520M KNEW YOU WOULD was best to
begin. MILKY CHANCE, SPEAR IT and
FROSTY BROWN all bumped shortly after the start resulting in SPEAR IT being
tightened and falling, causing FROSTY BROWN to lose ground. COMPLETE CONTROL checked across the heels
of VENETIAN RESULTS on the turn out of the front straight on the 1st
occasion causing some inconvenience to SAHARA GIRL. KNEW YOU WOULD was wide out of the front
straight and into the back straight.
COMPLETE CONTROL checked off the heels of VENETIAN RESULTS and lost ground
on the turn into the back straight.
COMPLETE CONTROL and SPRING SHANAE bumped entering the home straight,
resulting in both greyhounds becoming unbalanced and losing some ground. VENETIAN RESULTS raced wide in the home
straight. The greyhound MILKY CHANCE was
vetted and no apparent injuries were found. The greyhound SPEAR IT was vetted
and no apparent injuries were found. The greyhound SAHARA GIRL was vetted
and no apparent injuries were found. |

VIEW GREYHOUND COMPLEX 5th GRADE 520M Even start with CARLTON CREW
marginally slow to begin. DASHING
BRADSTA shifted in from a wide position after the start down the front
straight on the 1st occasion tightening SPECIAL VISION in onto
DASHING CHARGER, onto DUSTY WAY, resulting in DASHING CHARGER being checked
and losing considerable ground. DUSTY
WAY checked off the heels of SPECIAL VISION and lost ground on the turn out
of the front straight on the 1st occasion resulting in
interference to DUSTY WAY and CARLTON CREW causing interference to DUSTY WAY
and CARLTON CREW which caused both greyhounds to fall. DASHING CHARGER raced wide in the back
straight. The greyhound DUSTY WAY was vetted
and no apparent injuries were found. The greyhound CARLTON CREW was
vetted and no apparent injuries were found. |

GRADE 431M TWO BEERS and INSIDE PASS were best
to begin. HARRY BAILEY, MR.
TRANSPORTER and ANGEL MOON all bumped shortly after the start resulting in
MR. TRANSPORTER losing ground and ANGEL MOON becoming unbalanced. SPECIAL VIRTUE checked off the heels of
INSIDE PASS on the turn into the back straight resulting in SPECIAL VIRTUE
losing ground causing HOPPING HOUDINI to race wide and checked off its
hindquarters, resulting in both HOPPING HOUDINI and SPECIAL VIRTUE
falling. ANGEL MOON checked off the
heels of TASER SHOCK and lost ground on the turn into the back straight,
resulting in interference to HARRY BAILEY.
MR. TRANSPORTER checked off the heels of INSIDE PASS and lost ground
on the turn into the back straight. The greyhound HOPPING HOUDINI was
vetted and no apparent injuries were found. The greyhound SPECIAL VIRTUE was
vetted and no apparent injuries were found. |

GRADE 520M Even start with DARCY’S CURSE slow
to begin. MAYWYN PETTYCASH checked off
the heels of YAMANTO and lost ground shortly after the start. YAMANTO continued to shift in, in the front
straight on the 1st occasion tightening NAPALM in onto CARIBBEAN
JET, resulting in these greyhounds becoming unbalanced and losing ground,
causing interference to SPRING FIRECHIEF.
CARIBBEAN JET raced onto the hindquarters of YAMANTO on the turn out
of the front straight on the 1st occasion resulting in YAMANTO
falling, causing interference to CARIBBEAN JET, SPRING FIRECHIEF and MAYWYN
PETTYCASH. NAPALM checked off the
heels of DARCY’S CURSE and lost ground on the turn into the back straight. DARCY’S CURSE checked off the heels of
NAPALM and lost ground on the turn out of the back straight. The greyhound YAMANTO was vetted and
no apparent injuries were found. The greyhound DARCY’S CURSE was
vetted and no apparent injuries were found. |

GRADE FINAL 520M MURBAH GOLD was best to
begin. GIFTED ANGEL jumped outwards as
the start was effected bumping DASH TA FAME, who became unbalanced and lost
some ground. GIFT BOX and HARD HAT MICK
bumped shortly after the start. GIFT
BOX and HARD HAT MICK bumped on several occasions on the turn out of the
front straight on the 1st occasion, resulting in some
inconvenience to GIFT BOX. DASH TA
FAME raced wide on the turn out of the front straight on the 1st
occasion. GIFT BOX checked off the
heels of HARD HAT MICK and lost ground on the turn out of the back
straight. GIFT BOX and DASH TA FAME
bumped on several occasions on the turn into the front straight resulting in
DASH TA FAME becoming unbalanced and shifting out across the heels of GIFT
BOX, then in turn shifting out across the heels of GIFTED ANGEL, resulting in
DASH TA FAME becoming unbalanced and losing considerable ground. GIFT BOX brushed the running rail on the
turn into the home straight. |

BANK 5th GRADE 431M SPRING DODGER was best to
begin. DOOLEY’S HOBO and GLORIOUS
WINTER bumped shortly after the start, resulting in some inconvenience to
GLORIOUS WINTER. GLORIOUS WINTER
checked across the heels of WESTERN HONEY on the 1st turn after
the start. SHAYLOR NORRIS lost ground
sharply on the turn into the back straight and took no further competitive
part in the race. WESTERN HONEY and
MOCHA LATTE bumped on the turn out of the back straight resulting in MOCHA
LATTE losing ground. DOOLEY’S HOBO
raced wide in the back straight.
SPRING DODGER raced wide in the home straight. The greyhound SHAYLOR NORRIS was
vetted and found to have suffered an injury to the off hind back muscle and
was stood down for a period of 28 days. |

GRADE 431M Even start. BANG ON TARGET bumped the hindquarters of
SPRING RAYMOND shortly after the start resulting in some inconvenience to
SPRING RAYMOND. MOZZARELLA and
MOTORIN’ CIDER bumped on the 1st turn after the start resulting in
both greyhounds becoming unbalanced and losing ground. KILTY JACK checked off the heels of
MOZZARELLA and lost ground on the turn into the back straight. BANG ON TARGET was tightened for racing
room between BOLD AS BRASH and TOUCH OF CAJUN and lost ground on the turn out
of the back straight, resulting in interference to DAZE FLYBY who fell as a
result. BANG ON TARGET checked off the
heels of MOTORIN’ CIDER on the turn into the front straight, resulting in
both greyhounds becoming unbalanced and losing ground. MOTORIN’ CIDER and DAZE FLYBY raced wide in
the back straight. KILKY JACK raced
wide into the home straight. The greyhound DAZE FLYBY was vetted
and no apparent injuries were found. |
