greyhound RUBY’S IN YELLOW performed a satisfactory 6 month trial over the
distance of 431m in a time of 25.47. |

WWW.IPSWICHGREYHOUNDS.COM MAIDEN 431M MEDIA CIRCUS was best to begin. JUST SIZE and ITSA PATCHY were slow to
begin. DANCING DOLLARS checked across
the heels of MEDIA CIRCUS on the 1st turn after the start. TAKEN NOVA and BISHOP’S LASS bumped on the
turn into the back straight resulting in both greyhounds becoming unbalanced
and losing some ground. HUBCAP WILLY
bumped MEDIA CIRCUS and lost ground on the turn into the back straight
resulting in interference to COLLISIONATE.
BISHOP’S LASS checked off the heels of COLLISIONATE and lost
considerable ground entering the back straight resulting in interference to
TAKEN NOVA who also lost considerable ground as a result. HUBCAP WILLY checked off the heels of JUST
SIZE and lost ground on the turn out of the back straight. HUBCAP WILLY and COLLISIONATE bumped on the
turn into the home straight. The greyhound HUBCAP WILLY was
vetted and no apparent injuries were found. Stewards advised trainer Mr. J Judd that the greyhound would be charged under Rule
71 Unsatisfactory Performance, must perform a satisfactory stewards’ trial
431m all tracks prior to nominating. |

SKY RACING MAIDEN 520M Even start with ROSDUE GOANNA slow
to begin. GRIFFIN was slow into stride
as the start was effected. SPRING ABBY and MCCAW MCCAW
bumped prior to turning out of the front straight on the 1st
occasion resulting in both greyhounds becoming unbalanced and losing some
ground. SPRING DEAL and FROSTY ZERO
bumped on the turn out of the front straight on the 1st occasion
resulting in FROSTY ZERO losing ground.
ROSDUE GOANNA checked across the heels of SPRING ABBY and raced wide
on the turn out of the front straight on the 1st occasion. ESSENTIALLY PURE and GO BLACK BIDDY bumped
on the turn into the back straight resulting in GO BLACK BIDDY becoming
unbalanced and checking off the heels of MCCAW MCCAW. ROSDUE GOANNA checked off the heels of
SPRING ABBY and lost ground prior to entering the back straight. ESSENTIALLY PURE checked across the heels
of MCCAW MCCAW and lost some ground on the turn
into the home straight. SPRING DEAL shifted out entering the home straight
resulting in SPRING DEAL, MCCAW MCCAW, ESSENTIALLY
PURE and GRIDFFIN racing wide in the home straight. ESSENTIALLY PURE checked off the
hindquarters of MCCAW MCCAW just prior to the
finish line resulting in ESSENTIALLY PURE losing some ground. |

ROSEWOOD & DISTRICT COMMUNITY
BANK NOVICE 520M THURSDAY
WIZARD was best to begin. SPEAR IT and
ROSE A BELLA were slow to begin.
SAHARA GIRL was tightened for racing room between BY GOLLY MOLLY and
TABBERER and lost ground shortly after the start. BY GOLLY MOLLY and SAHARA GIRL bumped on
the turn out of the front straight on the 1st occasion resulting
in SAHARA GIRL becoming unbalanced and losing some ground. TABBERER checked off the heels of DREAM
TIME BABY and lost some ground on the turn into the back straight, resulting
in some inconvenience to UNIQUE AFFAIR.
ROSE A BELLA and TABBERER bumped on the turn into the home straight
resulting in TABBERER losing some ground.
SPEAR IT raced wide in both the back and home straights. SAHARA GIRL, TABBERER and UNIQUE AFFAIR
bumped just prior to the finish line. The
greyhound BY GOLLY MOLLY was vetted and no apparent injuries were found. Stewards
advised trainer Mr. T Wonka
that the greyhound would be charged under Rule 71 Unsatisfactory Performance,
must perform a satisfactory stewards’ trial 520m all tracks prior to
nominating. |

GATTON TYRE SERVICE NOVICE 520M SPRING SHANAE was best to
begin. ELITE COMANDO was slow to
begin. ZIVA’S LASS and UNIQUE KALEESI
bumped shortly after the start resulting in ZIVA’S LASS becoming unbalanced
and losing considerable ground as a result.
ELITE COMANDO raced wide in the back straight. SUPERFLUOUS checked off the heels of DUSTY
WAY and lost ground on the turn out of the back straight. ELITE COMANDO raced wide in the home
straight. ROSDUE SPRITE raced wide
into the back straight. ROSDUE SPRITE
tailed off to finish a distant last. The greyhound ROSDUE SPRITE was
vetted and found to have suffered an injury to the off hind leg and was stood
down for a period of 10 days. |

GOLDEN
VIEW GREYHOUND COMPLEX NOVICE 431M The greyhound COSADO SUN was vetted pre race and no apparent injuries were found. COSADO SUN was best to begin. BOLD AS BRASH was marginally slow to
begin. ZIP ALONG BOY shifted in from a
wide position approaching the 1st turn after the start tightening
COUTA GODDESS onto SMASH EM DOLLARS onto SHOW ME DOLLARS, onto CLASSY
BAMQUIN, resulting in all these greyhounds being tightened and losing
ground. SHOW ME DOLLARS and BOLD AS
BRASH lost considerable ground as a result of this incident. FOUND ON EBAY checked off the heels of
CLASSY BAMQUIN and lost ground prior to entering the back straight. SMASH EM DOLLARS race onto the heels of
FOUND ON EBAY, resulting in both greyhounds losing considerable ground on the
turn out of the back straight. CLASSY
BAMQUIN checked off the heels of COUTA GODDESS and lost ground on the turn
out of the back straight. BOLD AS
BRASH and CLASSY BAMQUIN bumped on the turn into the home straight resulting
in both greyhounds becoming unbalanced and losing ground. BOLD AS BRASH and CLASSY BAMQUIN bumped
just prior to the finish line. |

GRADE HEAT 1 520M The greyhound GIFTED ANGEL was
vetted pre race and no apparent injuries were
found. SPLIT SYSTEM was best to begin. RUM RAMBLER jumped very awkwardly as the
boxes opened and lost considerable ground as the start was effected. MAYWYN PETTYCASH raced wide in the front
straight on the 1st occasion.
FYRE GAL, ANGRY ALICE and GIFTED ANGEL raced very tight in the front
straight on the 1st occasion.
MAYWYN PETTYCASH raced wide in the back straight. GIFTED ANGEL checked off the heels of ANGRY
ALICE and lost ground on the turn out of the back straight causing
interference to FYRE GAL. DASHING
BRADSTA and ANGRY ALICE bumped on the turn into the home straight and again
entering the home straight, resulting in both greyhounds becoming unbalanced
and losing some ground. The greyhound RUM RAMBLER was vetted
and no apparent injuries were found. |

GRADE HEAT 2 520M Even start with GOT THE ATTITUDE and
BROTEHR GLENN marginally slow to begin.
BROTHER GLENN checked off the heels of UNIQUE GHOSTY and lost ground
on the turn out of the front straight on the 1st occasion,
resulting in interference to BEACH FRONT who lost considerable ground as a
result. UNIQUE GHOSTY and GOT THE
ATTITUDE bumped on the turn into the home straight resulting in some
inconvenience to GOT THE ATTITUDE.
SUITE ALEXIS raced wide in the back straight. The greyhound BEACH FRONT was vetted
and no apparent injuries were found. |

GRADE 431M The start of this race
was delayed 3.5 minutes due to overseas racing. LONESOME DUK was best to
begin. FABULOUS STORM was slow to
begin. WILDDASH WARRIOR crossed from a
wide position shortly after the start tightening MR. TRANSPORTER who lost
ground. As a result WILDASH WARRIOR
continued to shift in bumping SPRING RAYMOND causing that greyhound to lose
ground. SPRING RAYMOND checked off the
heels of QUE SERA and lost ground on the turn into the back straight. WILDASH WARRIOR checked off the heels of
LONESOME DUK and lost ground on the turn into the back straight. SPRING RAYMOND checked off the hindquarters
of QUE SERA entering the back straight resulting in SPRING RAYMOND becoming
unbalanced shifting out and racing wide into the back straight. QUE SERA raced wide into the back straight. SPRING RAYMOND shifted out across the heels
of MR. TRANSPORTER and raced wide into the home straight. QUE SERA raced wide into the home straight. |

BANK 5th GRADE 431M Even start with FAR FROM FEAR
marginally slow to begin and ALEEAH JET slow to begin. SPRING DODGER, TWO BEERS, LUCY BENZ and
INSIDE PASS raced very tight into the 1st turn after the start
resulting in TWO BEERS losing some ground and causing some inconvenience to
SUPA SMOOTH OSTI. TWO BEERS raced wide
in the back straight. |

GRADE 431M LONG LONG
LOGAN and FARMOR MAYHEM were best to begin.
KILTY JACK was slow to begin.
TELEX FINGERS improved onto the heels of KLOEIS PRIDE and lost some
ground on the turn into the back straight.
WESTERN HONEY checked off the heels of COST A QUID and lost ground on
the turn into the back straight causing some inconvenience to KILTY
JACK. KLOEIS PRIDE checked off the
heels of FARMOR MAYHEM and lost some ground entering the back straight. TELEX FINGERS raced wide in the back
straight. LONG LONG
LOGAN lost ground sharply on the turn into the home straight appearing
injured. COST A QUID eased in the back
straight for no apparent reason. The greyhound LONG LONG LOGAN was vetted and found to have suffered an
injury to the off side hock and was stood down for a period of 8 weeks. The greyhound COST A QUID was vetted
and found to have suffered an injury to the off hind leg and was stood down
for a period of 10 days. |
