MAIDEN 431M Even start with BENTAXLE and
RUMBLING JAKE slow to begin. BENTAXLE
checked off the heels of TAT’S DREAM and lost some ground shortly after the
start. CURL THE WAVE and GOTCHA NOW
bumped on the 1st turn after the start resulting in GOTCHA NOW
losing some ground. RUMBLING JAKE
checked off the hindquarters of GOTCHA NOW and lost ground on the turn into
the back straight. TAT’S DREAM raced
wide in the back straight. TAT’S DREAM
shifted out on the turn into the home straight bumping RUMBLING JAKE,
resulting in both greyhounds becoming unbalanced and losing some ground. The greyhound GOTCHA NOW was vetted
and found to have suffered an injury to the near hind leg and was stood down
for a period of 10 days. |

RACING MAIDEN 431M WAVE CHIEF was best to begin. MR. HESTON, FIT OUT and LORALANE KAHN were
all marginally slow to begin. FIT OUT
and MR. HESTON bumped on the 1st turn after the start resulting in
FIT OUT losing ground. WAVE CHIEF
checked off the heels of HEZA NOIR on the turn into the back straight,
resulting in FIT OUT losing ground.
WAVE CHIEF checked off the heels of HEZA NOIR on the turn into the
back straight resulting in interference to LORALANE KAHN. FIT OUT checked off the heels of RED STORM
and lost ground entering the back straight resulting in FIT OUT losing
ground. MR. HESTON and SHE’S MY STAR
bumped on the turn out of the back straight resulting in SHE’S MY STAR
becoming unbalanced and losing ground.
HEZA NOIR raced wide in the back straight. HEZA NOIR and WAVE CHIEF raced wide in the
home straight. Stewards advised trainer Mr. G Pearce that the greyhound SHE’S MY STAR would be
charged under Rule 69 Marring, 1st offence, 28 days plus a
satisfactory stewards’ trial 431m all tracks. Trainer Mr.
G Pearce was advised that his standard of dress was unacceptable at a TAB
meeting and a warning was issued. |

ROSEWOOD & DISTRICT COMMUNITY
BANK MAIDEN 431M RIPPING
ESCAPE and BACK ON TRACK were best to begin.
JOYCIE CORSAIR and MIGHTY NOVA were slow to begin. SPRING LOLA and BLUE ME bumped on the 1st
turn after the start. Shortly after
BACK ON TRACK crossed from a wide position tightening RIPPING ESCAPE in onto
SPRING LOLA onto BLUE ME, onto ICE PANTHER, resulting in all those greyhounds
being checked and losing ground.
JOYCIE CORSAIR also lost ground as a result. RIPPING ESCAPE raced onto the heels of BLUE
ME on the turn into the back straight resulting in BLUE ME losing
ground. JOYCIE CORSAIR checked off the
heels of RIPPING ESCAPE and lost ground on the turn out of the back straight,
resulting in interference to BLUE ME. |

FINAL 431M SPRING HORNET was best to
begin. GO FOR HOME was slow to
begin. SMASHNIAK BARC checked across
the hindquarters of SEA LEGS on the turn into the back straight resulting in
SMASHNIAK BARC losing ground and becoming unbalanced and causing interference
to TOMMY BENZ. AVAMAY, TAKEN NOVA and
GO FOR HOME all bumped on the turn into the back straight, resulting in TAKEN
NOVA losing considerable ground. SEA
LEGS checked off the heels of AVAMAY and lost ground on the turn out of the
back straight. GO FOR HOME and TOMMY
BENZ raced wide in the home straight. |

TYRE SERVICE NOVICE 431M Even start with SPRING CRUSHER
marginally slow to begin. TOUCH OF
CAJUN and BLACK RHINO bumped as the start was effected. BLACK RHINO, LITE ME UP and SPRING TRIXIE
all bumped shortly after the start.
TOUCH OF CAJUN and PHANTOM LAD bumped on the 1st turn after
the start resulting in both greyhounds becoming unbalanced and losing
ground. BLACK RHINO and MIA MYA MO
bumped heavily on the turn into the back straight resulting in both
greyhounds becoming unbalanced and losing considerable ground. LITE ME UP checked off the heels of SPRING
CRUSHER and lost ground on the turn out of the back straight. TOUCH OF CAJUN and SPRING TRIXIE raced wide
in the back straight. SPRING CRUSHER
and PHANTOM LAD bumped in the home straight.
BLACK RHINO raced wide in the home straight. The greyhound MIA MYA MO was vetted
and no apparent injuries were found. |

GRADE 431M CHEVY BLUE BOY was best to
begin. PAW DIDEMIS was slow to
begin. CHAMPAGNE BENZ, PASS YOU BY and
PERFECT POUT bumped on the 1st turn after the start resulting in
PERFECT POUT checking across the heels of PASS YOU BY, shifting out causing
interference to CHAMPAGNE BENZ. PASS
YOU BY and PERFECT POUT raced wide in the back straight. PERFECT POUT and PASS YOU BY raced wide in
the home straight. MARLO GOOD, SPRING
SHANGHAI and CHEVY BLUE BOY bumped just prior to the finish line. |

slow to begin. SPRING BEAUTY checked
across the heels of LALIQUE and lost ground in the front straight on the 1st
occasion. NOOREE DESSA, CY TOLLIVER
and SPLIT SYSTEM raced tight and bumped approaching the turn out of the front
straight on the 1st occasion resulting in SPLIT SYSTEM losing
ground. CY TOLLIVER shifted out on the
turn out of the front straight on the 1st occasion forcing NOOREE
DESSA wide. SHOW RUNNER checked across
the heels of LALIQUE on the turn into the back straight resulting in some
inconvenience to HER FAULT. CY TOLLIVER
and SPLIT SYSTEM raced wide into the back straight. HER FAULT and SPRING BEAUTY bumped on the
turn into the home straight. SPLIT
SYSTEM and NOOREE DESSA raced wide into the home straight. |

GENTABLUE PET FOOD 3/4th GRADE 431M Even start. OUT WEST and FARMOR MAYHEM bumped
approaching the 1st turn after the start resulting in both
greyhounds losing some ground. CHEEKY
CHEECH checked off the heels of MAJESTIC BEACH and lost ground on the turn
into the back straight resulting in some inconvenience to SPRING GRACE and
also causing interference to FARMOR MAYHEM.
OUT WEST lost ground sharply prior to entering the back straight,
appearing injured and failing to take any competitive part in the race. CHEEKY CHEECH checked across the heels of
SPRING GRACE and raced wide into the home straight. CHEEKY CHEECH raced wide in the home
straight. The greyhound OUT WEST
was vetted and found to have suffered an injury to the off hind back muscle
and was stood down for a period of 6 weeks. |

& DISTRICT COMMUNITY BANK 5th GRADE 431M Even start with LEHMAN BENZ slow to
begin. ASTIN’S WARRIOR, TINIE TEMPAH
and DAZE FLYBY all bumped shortly after the start, resulting in these 3
greyhounds becoming unbalanced and causing interference to FARMOR DIVA. SHOW ME DOLLARS and SIZEABLE bumped on the
turn into the back straight resulting in both greyhounds becoming unbalanced
and losing some ground. SHOW ME
DOLLARS and SIZEABLE bumped on the turn into the back straight resulting in
SHOW ME DOLLARS becoming unbalanced and losing considerable ground and some
inconvenience to SIZEABLE. SIZEABLE
and ASTIN’S WARRIOR bumped prior to entering the back straight resulting in
both greyhounds losing considerable ground. The greyhound TINIE TEMPAH was
vetted and no apparent injuries were found.
Stewards spoke to trainer Mr. B Hazelgrove whostated that the interference that the greyhound had
suffered early may have winded the greyhound which caused it to lose ground
however, TINIE TEMPAH made up ground after this incident. Stewards noted Mr.
Hazelgrove’s explanation and advised him to notify stewards if the greyhound
shows any signs of injury or soreness following tonight’s event. |

5th GRADE 431M THIS TIME MADDIE and SILKY OAK were
best to begin. SPRING IT ON was
marginally slow to begin. COSMIC
REVENGE and REVELLING bumped shortly after the start. REVELLING checked off the heels of THIS
TIME MADDIE and lost ground on the turn into the back straight resulting in
REVELLING also becoming unbalanced, shifting out bumping SILKY OAK, out onto
PRIM AND PRIZZY, onto HER’S NOT HIS, resulting in all these greyhounds losing
ground. REVELLING checked off the
heels of SILKY OAK and lost ground on the turn out of the back straight. COSMIC REVENGE and SILKY OAK bumped on the
turn out of the back straight, resulting in both greyhounds becoming
unbalanced and losing some ground.
