MAIDEN HEAT 1 431M Even start with the exception of
SURF CATCHER which was slow to begin.
Shortly after the start SPRING SERA was tightened for racing room,
checked and lost ground. Shortly after
OUTBACK MYSTERY was tightened for racing room, checked and lost ground. Approaching the turn into the back straight
SUBTITLE shifted out and made contact with FROSTY O’REILLY causing that
greyhound to be checked and lose considerable ground. SURF CATCHER which was racing to its
outside was checked as
a consequence and lost considerable ground. Entering the back straight OUTBACK MYSTERY
was tightened for racing room, checked and lost ground. Rounding the home turn KENT METROPULOS and
OUTBACK MYSTERY collided resulting in both greyhounds to be severely checked
and lose considerable ground. SURF
CATCHER was hampered as a result of this incident. In the run to the finish ALLEAH’S WARRIOR
marred the running of SPRING SERA. Stewards advised trainer Mr. Rolls that the greyhound ALLEAH’S WARRIOR would be
charged under Rule 69 Marring, 2nd offence, 3 months plus a
satisfactory stewards’ trial 431m all tracks. |

RACING MAIDEN HEAT 2 431M BUBBLE GUPPY and INVERGARRY LADY
were best to begin. LANCASTER BOMBER
and OUTBACK SUNSHINE were slow out.
Shortly after the start FROSTY ZERO was tightened for racing room, checked
and lost ground. Approaching the turn
into the back straight LANCASTER BOMBER was tightened for racing room,
checked and lost ground. Entering the
back straight KIRRALI GROVE and OUTBACK SUNSHINE collided causing both
greyhounds to be checked and lose considerable ground. Out of the back straight SHE SAID WHAT was tightend for racing room, checked and lost ground. The greyhound SHE SAID WAHT
underwent a post race Veterinarian examination and
was found to have suffered an injury to the near side wrist and was stood
down for a period of 14 days. |

start. Shortly after the start BLACK
AQUILA and CUT THE CAKE collided, resulting in CUT THE CAKE being
hampered. Approaching the turn into
the back straight COSMIC LAPTOP, SUNNYSIDE PARK, BRONCO BOY, BLACK AQUILA and
MIGHTY NOVA all raced tight resulting in the greyhounds being checked to
varying degrees. |

ALPHA FINANCIAL SERVICES NOVICE 431M WOOZIE DOOZIE, SPRING HONEY, UNIQUE
KALEESI and RHONDDA MINER were best to begin.
Approaching the turn into the back straight STRIKE OIL and TOMMY BENZ
collided resulting in both greyhounds being checked and lose ground. Approaching the turn into the front
straight WOOZIE DOOZIE was tightened for racing room, checked and lost
ground. FAMOUS FOR FUN which was
racing to its outside was severely checked as a consequence. STRIKE OIL and TOMMY BENZ were hampered as
a result of this incident. The greyhound FAMOUS FOR FUN
underwent a post race Veterinarian examination and
was found to have suffered an injury to the off hind leg and was stood down
for a period of 7 days. |

TYRE SERVICE NOVICE 431M GUN DANCER, BLUE JOY, SPRING CRUSHER
and MIA MYA MO were best to begin.
BOB EFFECTS was slow out.
Shortly after the start IMA TALENT and CASSIOPEIA collided. Approaching the turn into the back straight
BLUE JOY was tightened for racing room, severely checked and lost
ground. MIA MYA MO raced wide rounding
the home turn. |

GRADE FINAL520M ROCKY BE GOOD and NOOREE DESSA were
best to begin. CARIBBEAN JET and TASER
SHOCK were slow to begin. Leaving the
front straight CINCINNATI JUICE and TASER SHOCK bumped. Leaving the back straight NOOREE DESSA and
TASER SHOCK were both tightened for racing room, checked and lost ground. |

& CO 3/4th GRADE 431M Even start. Approaching the turn into the back straight
ANGEL MOON, SILVER WING, NO JOCKEY NEEDED, SPRING DODGER and SLAYER RETURN
were all checked due to tight racing.
Entering the back straight CALL ME AUSSIE was tightened for racing
room, checked over the heels of LUCY BENZ and lost momentum. |

GENTABLUE PET FOOD BEST 8 431M Even start. Entering the back straight YOUR DEAL was
tightened for racing room, checked and lost ground. ARABIAN MELODY which was racing to its
outside was hampered as a consequence.
In the back straight LONESOME DUK shifted out and raced wide, IT’S MY
TIME which was racing to its outside was checked as a consequence. The greyhound MAJESTIC
BEACH underwent a post race Veterinarian
examination and was found to have suffered an injury to the near hind leg and
was stood down for a period of 7 days. |

Shortly after the start KYOTO KAHN was tightened for racing room,
checked and lost ground. Shortly after
MR. BANG BANG was tightened for racing room,
checked and lost ground. KYOTO KAHN
and SPRING TWIG which were trailling were checked
as a consequence. Leaving the back
straight TRUE VIKING was tightened for racing room, checked and lost
ground. LEADFOOT JODY and SPRING IT ON
which were trailling were checked as a consequence. The greyhound RUBY’S IN YELLOW
underwent a post race Veterinarian examination and
no apparent injuries were found. |

5th GRADE 431M COUP DE KAHN was best to begin. Approaching the turn into the back straight
VELOCITY MYSTIC, COSADO SUN and WILDASH WILDBOY all raced tight resulting in
all greyhounds being checked to varying degrees. MY AWESOME MAGIC, WALLOON SMARTIE and
LEHMAN BENZ which were trailling were checked as a
consequence. Leaving the back straight
VELOCITY MYSTIC contacted the running rail, checked and lost considerable
ground. COSADO SUN raced tight in the
run to the finish. Stewards advised trainer Ms. S Morris that they had concerns with COSADO SUN’s
action over the latter stages of the race but could not be comfortably
satisfied that the greyhound had marred prior to the wining post and was
given the benefit of the doubt and no action was taken. The greyhound VELOCITY MYSTIC
underwent a post race Veterinarian examination and
no apparent injuries were found. |
