The greyhound MISS PEREGIAN performed a satisfactory 6 month trial over the distance of 431m in a time of 25.63

 

RACE REPORTS

HARBOUR GYPSY, COMMUNITY, DANCING DOLLARS and SUSHI COWBOY were best to begin.  Shortly after the start SUSHI COWBOY and DASHING BOND collided.  Rounding the 1st turn DISTANT SHORES was tightened for racing room, checked, shifted out and made heavy contact with COMMUNITY, which in turn then shifted out and made heavy contact with DISCO DOLLY, causing all greyhounds to be checked.  DASHING BOND which was racing to the outside of DISCO DOLLY was checked as a consequence.  Leaving the back straight COMMUNITY was tightened for racing room, checked and lost ground.  In the front straight COMMUNITY and SUSHI COWBOY collided.

SKY RACING MAIDEN 431M

Even start with exception of SHAYLOR HULA which was slow to begin.  Approaching the 1st turn GO THE SPOILS, ON THE WALL, SHOTGUN and FARMOR FOR SHORE were all tightened for racing room, checked and lost ground.  Approaching the turn into the back straight ELLIE’S LAST shifted out and made contact with JAMES BOND resulting in that greyhound to be checked.  In the back straight ON THE WALL and JAMES BOND collided on a number of occasions resulting in both greyhounds being checked and lose ground.  SHAYLOR HULA raced wide in the back straight.  GO THE SPOILS raced wide rounding the home turn.

ROSEWOOD & DISTRICT COMMUNITY BANK NOVICE 431M

TECHNO LADY, RHONDDA MINER and WOOZIE DOOZIE were best to begin.    SMASH EM DOLLARS was tightened for racing room shortly after the start, checked and lost ground.  Rounding the 1st turn WOOZIE DOOZIE was tightened for racing room, checked and lost ground.  Shortly after SMASH EM DOLLARS was tightened for racing room, checked and lost ground.  Entering the back straight RHONDDA MINER was tightened for racing room, checked and lost ground.  In the back straight TECHNO LADY checked over the heels of WOOZIE DOOZIE and was hampered as a consequence.  TECHNO LADY raced wide rounding the turn and again into the front straight.

GREYHOUND-DATA.COM 4/5th GRADE HEAT 1 431M

Even start with the exception of MISS ESPOSITO which was slow to begin.  CHAMPAGNE BENZ shifted in shortly after the start and bumped KYOTO KAHN.  Approaching the 1st turn PYRO BOB shifted in and made contact with MISS ESPOSITO causing that greyhound to be checked.  Approaching the turn into the back straight PYRO BOB shifted out and made heavy contact with KYOTO KAHN causing that greyhound to be severely checked and fall taking no further competitive part in the race.  PYRO BOB was severely checked as a consequence.

 

The greyhound KYOTO KAHN underwent a post race Veterinarian examination  and no apparent injuries were found.

SCOTT O’TOOLEY PAINTER 2/3rd GRADE 431M

Even start.  Rounding the 1st turn MAYWYN’S ACE was tightened for racing room, checked and lost ground.  Approaching the turn into the back straight SPRING RAYMOND was tightened for racing room, checked and lost ground.  HEZ SO FAST raced wide in the back straight and again in the front straight.

O’REILLY PET FOODS 5th GRADE FINAL 431M

The start of this race was delayed when STUBBORN STATE proved difficult to box.  STUBBORN STATE will be declared ‘hard to box’ in its future races.

 

DASHING CHARGER was best to begin.  SHAYLOR CLEDUS was slow out.  Entering the turn into the back straight PREMIER BEAR shifted out and made contact with TUFF IT causing that greyhound to be checked and lose ground.  STUBBORN STATE which was racing to the outside of TUFF IT was checked as a consequence and lost ground.  Leaving the back straight FABULOUR ABBY was tightened for racing room, checked and lost ground.

MAGIC FLY HIGH was best to begin.  Leaving the back straight MAGIC FLY HIGH and STEEL ROSE bumped resulting in MAGIC FLY HIGH being momentarily hampered.

LIL’ BIT SPARKY, HOLYWOOD ROSE HI and HASSIE’S HASSLE were best to begin.  GET INVOLVED and SPRING IT ON were slow to begin.  Shortly after the start NOT THE ONE and CASH EXPLOSION collided resulting in CASH EXPLOSION being momentarily hampered.  Approaching the turn into the back straight GET INVOLVED and SPRING IT ON collided resulting in SPRING IT ON being checked and lose ground.

ROSEWOOD & DISTRICT COMMUNITY BANK 4/5th GRADE HEAT 3 431M

HOOP DREAMS, HARA’S SIZZLE, CASEY UNDERCOVER, MAYWYN WILL WIN and SOUTHERN FLOSS were best to begin.  PRIM AND PRIZZY and RIVAL STATE were slow to begin.  In the back straight MAYWYN WILL WIN clipped the heels of HARA’S SIZZLE and was momentarily hampered.  Leaving the back straight RIVAL STATE shifted out,  MAYWYN WILL WIN which was racing to its outside was momentarily hampered as a result of this movement.

Even start.  Shortly after the start FLAPPING GUMS, SPRING FIRECHIEF and MIRANDA ROSE HI were all tightened for racing room, checked and lost ground.  Approaching the turn into the back straight GUN DANCER, FLAPPING GUMS, RYLI’S RANGA and ELL’S ALL CLASS were all tightened for racing room, checked and lost ground.  SPRING FIRECHIEF and MIRANDA ROSE HI which were trailing were checked as a consequence.  Entering the back straight ELL’S ALL CLASS was tightened for racing room, checked and lost ground.  In the back straight RYLI’S RANGA shifted out and made contact with HARA’S HAWK resulting in both greyhounds to be severely checked and lose considerable ground.  Leaving the back straight SPRING FIRECHIEF was tightened for racing room, checked and lost ground.  ELL’S ALL CLASS which was racing to its inside was checked as a consequence and lost ground.
