Stewards Trail 1 – 431m

The greyhound BLACK CASPER performed a satisfactory 6 month trial over the distance of 431m in a time of 24.84.

BARTHOLOMEW, NOIRE CHERIE and SPRING DEAL were best to begin.  PIZARRO was slow out.  Through the 1st turn TOP TELLER was tightened for racing room, checked and lost ground.  GIDDY UP PATSY, NOIRE CHERIE and ON THE WALL which were all racing to its outside were checked as a consequence.

 

The greyhound NOIRE CHERIE underwent a Veterinarian examination  and was found to have suffered an injury to the near hind toenail and was stood down for a period of 10 days.

SKY RACING MAIDEN 431M

MIGHTY NIMROD was best to begin.  Through the 1st turn RELYN CHASSI was tightened for racing room, checked and lost ground.  SPRING POLLY, BLUE ME and EYECEE TEECEE which were trailing were checked as a consequence.  EYECEE TEECEE lost ground out of the incident.  In the front straight BLUE ME turned its head, made muzzle contact and marred the running of SPRING POLLY.

 

The greyhound EYECEE TEECEE underwent a Veterinarian examination and no apparent injuries were found.

 

Stewards advised trainer Mr. C Broadrick that the greyhound BLUE ME would be charged under Rule 69 Marring, 1st offence, 28 days plus a satisfactory stewards’ trial 431m all tracks.

ROSEWOOD & DISTRICT COMMUNITY BANK NOVICE 431M

UNDER ADVICE, ELLIE’S BOY and VAL ROSE HI were best to begin.  Shortly after the start DELICATE HARRY, JACKSON FIVE and COMPLETE CONTROL all raced tight, resulting in JACKSON FIVE and COMPLETE CONTROL being checked and lose ground.  Through the 1st turn ELLIE’S BOY was tightened for racing room, checked and lost ground.  ELEGANT STRIDER which was racing to its outside was checked as a consequence and lost ground.

GREYHOUND-DATA.COM NOVICE 431M

FERNLEE STAR and PUKUTU were best to begin.  Shortly after the start CLOVER CHIT CHAT and STILL COMING collided.  Through the 1st turn FERNLEE STAR was tightened for racing room, checked and lost ground.  Into the back straight EXCITED HAWK was tightened for racing room, checked and lost ground.  Rounding the turn into the front straight FERNLEE STAR and CHASING RAINBOWS collided over a number of occasions resulting in both greyhounds being checked.

 

The greyhound EXCITED HAWK underwent a Veterinarian examination and was found to have suffered an injury to the off side shoulder and was stood down for a period of 10 days.

SCOTT O’TOOLE PAINTER 5th GRADE HEAT 1 431M

Even start.  Shortly after the start EDEN’S CHANT was tightened for racing room, checked and lost ground.  Shortly after WINDY GIRL was tightened for racing room, checked and lost ground.  Through the 1st turn COSMO CYNDIE, IVAN’S MATE, WINDY GIRL and DASHING BRADSTA were all tightened for racing room, checked and lost ground.

 

The greyhound COSMO CYNDIE  underwent a Veterinarian examination and no apparent injuries were found.

WILDASH WILDBOY was best to begin.  WALLOON WIZARD was slow out.  Shortly after the start DEB’S PENNY was tightened for racing room, checked and lost ground.  Leaving the back straight MR. TRANSPORTER and WALLOON WIZARD collided resulting in both greyhounds to be checked and lose ground.  Rounding the turn into the front straight MR. TRANSPORTER and STORM ROSE HI collided resulting in STORM ROSE HI to be checked and shifting out./

C2C CONSTRUCTIONS 4/5th GRADE FINAL 431M

THIS TIME MADDIE, KNOCKER and MACNIVEK were best to begin.  Approaching the 1st turn ROYAL PRIZE and GO THE SPOILS collided resulting in ROYAL PRIZE to be checked and lose ground.  Entering the back straight GO THE SPOILS was tightened for racing room, checked, shifted out and heavy contact with DECLAN’S BOY, resulting in both greyhounds to be severely checked and lose considerable ground.

Even start.  Through the 1st turn YOUR DEAL, HOPPING HOUDINI, SPRING PLANET and SOCIAL DANCER all raced tight resulting in all greyhounds to be checked and lose ground.  Entering the back straight MAJESTIC BEACH and VICKI ROSE HI collided resulting in VICKI ROSE HI to be checked and lose ground.  YOUR DEAL which was trailing was checked as a consequence.

Even start.  Shortly after the start MINNIE IMPACT was tightened for racing room, checked and lost ground.  Shortly after MAL ROSE HI was tightened for racing room, checked and lost ground.  Entering the back straight BUBBLE GUPPY was tightened for racing room, checked and lost ground.  ROMANA PRINCESS which was racing to its outside was checked as a consequence.  In the front straight MINNIE IMPACT turned its head and made muzzle contact effectively marring the running of RAMBO ROCK.

 

Stewards advised trainer Mr. R Burman that the greyhound MINNIE IMPACT would be charged under Rule 69 Marring, 1st offence, 28 days plus a satisfactory stewards’ trial 431m all tracks.

COSMIC LILY, BAIDEN ROSE HI and CHAMPAGNE BENZ were best to begin.  KILTY JACK was slow out.  Through the 1st turn BRALYN BAUPLE was tightened for racing room, checked and lost ground.  Approaching the turn into the back straight SPRING FIRECHIEF was tightened for racing room, checked and lost ground.  Entering the back straight KILTY JACK was tightened for racing room, checked and lost ground.  Leaving the back straight FYRE GAL was tightened for racing room, checked and lost ground.  LIL’ BIT SPARKY which was racing to its outside was checked as a consequence.
