MAIDEN HEAT 1 431M STUBBORN
MISS and CHIPS AHOY were best to begin.
DARLIN’ BE GOOD was slow to begin.
NACEY’S HERO was extremely slow to begin. Through the 1st turn SPRING
ROCCA and BRASS ROAD collided.
Approaching the turn into the back straight MICRO MADNESS improved
onto the heels of BRASS ROAD and was checked as a consequence. Entering the back straight SPRING ROCCA and
BRASS ROAD collided resulting in both greyhounds to be checked and lose
ground. Leaving the back straight
SPRING ROCCA shifted out and collided with BRASS ROAD which resulted in that
greyhound to be checked and lose ground.
Approaching the turn into the front straight MICRO MADNESS checked
across the heels of SPRING ROCCA and was hampered as a consequence. Rounding the turn into the front straight
DARLIN’ BE GOOD checked across the heels of MICRO MADNESS, shifted out and
raced wide as a consequence. Neville
Eastell the trainer of BRASS ROAD was fined $50 under Rule 86 (o) in that
after placing his greyhound in the box he threw a lead in the direction of
other attendants which stewards deemed to be improper. |

begin. Entering the back straight SHE

GATTON TYRE SERVICE MAIDEN FINAL 431M Even start
with the exception of DON’T TOUCH which was slow to begin. In the back straight KURO ROSE was
tightened for racing room, checked and lost ground. TROUBLING TIMES and ASTON CHANEL which were
trailing were checked as a consequence.
Approaching the turn into the front straight DON’T TOUCH was tightened
for racing room, checked and lost ground. |

CAP were best to begin. Through the 1st
turn GEMMA BENZ, TIP YA CAP, BOGIE MIRACLE and ZABDON CHEVY were all checked
due to tight racing and lost ground to varying degrees. Entering the back straight BOGIE MIRACLE
was tightened for racing room, checked and lost ground. Approaching the turn out of the back
straight BARTHOLOMEW was tightened for racing room, checked and lost ground. ZABDON CHEVY which was trailing was checked
as a consequence. Approaching the turn
into the front straight MISSED CONTROL was tightened for racing room, checked
and lost ground. BOGIE MIRACLE, MIGHTY
NIMROD and ZABDON CHEVY which were trailing were checked as a consequence. The greyhound MIGHTY NIMROD underwent a postrace
Veterinarian examination and no apparent injuries were found. |

ROSEWOOD
& DISTRICT COMMUNITY BANK 4th GRADE 431M FARMOR MAYHEM was best to begin. Shortly after the start RUSTY’S IMAGE, GET
INVOLVED and CHEVY BLUE BOY collided resulting in GET INVOLVED to be checked
and lose ground. BLACKWOOD BURST which
was racing to its outside was checked as a consequence. Approaching the turn into the back straight
RUSTY'S IMAGE shifted out and collided with SPRING RAYMOND resulting in
SPRING RAYMOND to be checked and lose considerable ground. GET INVOLVED and DASHING CHARGER which were
trailing were checked as a consequence. The greyhound DASHING CHARGER underwent a postrace
Veterinarian examination and was found to have suffered an injury to the back
and was stood down for a period of 7 days. The greyhound SPRING RAYMOND underwent a postrace
Veterinarian examination and was found to have suffered an injury to the off
hind back muscle and was stood down for a period of 6 weeks. |

GOLDEN VIEW GREYHOUND COMPLEX BEST 8 431M Even start.
Shortly after the start SOCIAL DANCER and DON’T GO QUIETLY
collided. Approaching the 1st
turn YOUR DEAL and ALEEAH JET were both tightened for racing room, checked
and lost ground. SOCIAL DANCER and
DON’T GO QUIETLY which were trailing were checked as a consequence. The greyhound VICKI ROSE HI underwent a postrace
Veterinarian examination and no apparent injuries were found. |

GRADE HEAT 1 520M DON’T DOUBLE UP was best to begin. Shortly after the start RAZEN TOAST and
HOUDINI HI were both tightened for racing room, checked and lost ground. Approaching the turn out of the front
straight HOUDINI HI checked across the heels of RAZEN TOAST and was momentarily
hampered. |

PET FOOD 4/5th GRADE HEAT 2 520M Even start with the exception of BOOTY
BEACH which was slow to begin. Shortly
after the start GOLD DIVA was tightened for racing room, checked and lost
ground. Leaving the front straight
BIRKDALE BANDIT was tightened for racing room, checked and lost ground. GOLD DIVA which was racing to its outside
was checked as a consequence. In the
back straight SPRING SHANAE was tightened for racing room, checked and lost
ground. |

4/5th GRADE 431M SPRING SHELLEY was declared a late scratching due to
being a non-arrival. After hearing an explanation from trainer, Mr. Byers he
was fined $200 however, there was no time imposed on the greyhound. Even start.
Through the 1st turn ASTON JADORE was tightened for racing
room, checked and lost ground. Leaving
the back straight TWISTED improved onto the heels of SPRING TRIXIE resulting
in that greyhound being checked and lose ground. TWISTED, SPECIAL VIRTUE and CHEEKY CHEECH
were all checked as a consequence.
Approaching the turn into the front straight SPECIAL VIRTUE and CHEEKY
CHEECH collided. Stewards questioned Ms. F Guymer the trainer of CHEEKY
CHEECH in regards to the greyhound’s actions rounding the turn into the front
straight. After taking evidence from
Ms. Guymer and viewing the official race film stewards could not be comfortably
satisfied that the greyhound had marred and given it the benefit of the
doubt. |

ROSEWOOD & DISTRICT
COMMUNITY BANK 5th GRADE 431M Even start.
Through the 1st turn UNDER ADVICE, LIGHTNING WHITE, ZABDON
LAMBO, SPRING MIA, SEIZED ASSET and SIMPLY MAGIC raced tight resulting in all
greyhounds to be checked to varying degrees.
In the front straight UNDER ADVICE was tightened for racing room,
checked and lost ground. In the back
straight UNDER ADVICE improved onto the heels of FARMOR FOR SHORE and was
momentarily hampered. |
