MAIDEN HEAT 1 431M INKJET
was best to begin. SPIRITUAL MAN was
slow to begin. Shortly after the start
ROSDUE BALBOA and SHERMAR MOOR collided resulting in both greyhounds to be
momentarily hampered. Leaving the 1st
turn SOME CHARGER checked across the heels of TAKEN NOVA and was momentarily
hampered. Leaving the back straight
ORPHAN ANNIE and SPIRITUAL MAN collided resulting in both greyhounds to be
checked. shortly after SHERMAR MOOR
checked off the heels of SPIRITUAL MAN and was checked as a consequence. ROSDUE BALBOA which was trailling was
severely checked as a result of this incident, fell and took no further
competitive part in the race. SOME
CHARGER which was racing to the outside of ROSDUE BALBOA was checked as a
result of this incident. The
greyhound ROSDUE BALBOA underwent a post race veterinarian examination and no
apparent injuries were found. |

SKY RACING MAIDEN HEAT
2 431M Even start with the exception of TURKEY RARE which was
marginally slow to begin and SEA OF JOY which was extremely slow to
begin. Through the 1st turn
JACOBY RAIDER, DROP SHORT, OUTBACK MYSTERY and BOGIE COMET all raced tight
resulting in all greyhounds to be checked to varying degrees. EYES LIGHT UP and TURKEY RARE were checked
as a result of this incident. Entering
the back straight TURKEY RARE improved onto the hindquarters of EYES LIGHT UP
and was checked as a consequence.
Leaving the back straight TURKEY RARE improved onto the heels of
JACOBY RAIDER and was checked as a consequence. BOGIE COMET which was racing to the outside
of JACOBY RAIDER was checked as a result of this incident. EYES LIGHT UP and SEA OF JOY which was
trailling were both checked and lost ground of this incident. Rounding the turn into the front straight
TURKEY RARE checked across the heels of BOGIE COMET and was momentarily
hampered. |

ALPHA FINANCIAL SERVICES MAIDEN FINAL 431M Weather
conditions were changed to ‘Showery’ and ‘Good” for the remainder of the
program. Even start
with the exception of MADAM INDI which was marginally slow to begin. Shortly after the start AINIA was tightened
for racing room, checked and lost ground.
Shortly after NOVA PARTY and AINIA collided resulting in NOVA PARTY
being checked and lose ground. Through
the 1st turn OUTBACK SUNSHINE and AFRICANO collided resulting in
AFRICANO being checked and lose ground.
Approaching the turn into the back straight TROUBLING TIMES was
tightened for racing room, checked and lost ground. Entering the back straight MADAM INDI was
tightened for racing room, checked and lost ground. |

GATTON TYRE SERVICE NOVICE 431M COOL VANE, SHE’S ALL BLONDE, SENOR’S SON and SUNNYSIDE
PARK were best to begin. OUTBACK
TREASURE was slow to begin. Shortly
after the start PREMIER HONEY and NACEY’S HERO collided resulting in both
greyhounds to be checked and lose ground.
Through the 1st turn SHE’S ALL BLONDE and SENOR’S SON
collided resulting in both greyhounds to be hampered. Approaching the turn into the back straight
COSMIC LAPTOP was tightened for racing room, checked and lost ground. PREMIER HONEY which was trailling was
hampered as a consequence. Entering
the back straight NACEY’S HERO checked across the heels of SENOR’S SON
resulting in both greyhounds to be checked and lose ground. |

4/5th GRADE 431M PROVIDENCE was best to begin. Shortly after the start MARLOW GOOD and GO
THE SPOILS bumped resulting in GO THE SPOILS shifted out and colliding with
MR. SLY. All 3 greyhounds were checked
as a consequence. Entering the back
straight GO THE SPOILS shifted out checking across the heels of MARLOW GOOD
and TROUBLING TIMES resulting in GO THE SPOILS being checked and lose
ground. ASTIN’S WARRIOR which was
trailing was checked as a consequence.
Approaching the turn into the front straight MR. SLY improved onto the
heels of FABULOU HOPE and was momentarily hampered. In the front straight over the latter
stages of the race MR. SLY and DOOHAN TIME bumped on several occasions. |

GOLDEN VIEW GREYHOUND COMPLEX 3/4th GRADE 431M Even start with the exception of DOUBLE STORM which was
marginally slow to begin. Shortly
after the start HARA’S SUMMER, KAMILAROI DUK and FLAPPING GUMS raced tight
which resulted in HARA’S SUMMER and KAMILAROI DUK being checked and lose
ground. Entering the back straight
KAMILAROI DUK shifted out which hampered the running of BLACKWOOD BURST and
DON’T GO QUIETLY. DON’T GO QUIETLY
commenced to give ground approaching the turn into the front straight to
finish a considerable distance from the remainder of the field. YOUR DEAL and FLAPPING GUMS collided in the
latter stages of the front straight. The greyhound DON’T GO QUIETLY underwent a post race
veterinarian examination and was found to have suffered an injury to the off
hind back muscle and was stood down for a period of 6 weeks. |

Shortly after the start BIRKDALE BANDIT, ZABDON LA ROWSEY and STILL
COMING which was tightened for racing room, checked and lost ground. Approaching the turn into the back straight
SHAYLOR SAM and BOGIE MIRACLE collided resulting in both greyhounds to be
checked and lose ground. |

PET FOOD 4/5th GRADE HEAT 2 520M Even start. Shortly after the start IMA COWBOY was
tightened for racing room, checked and lost ground. Leaving the turn out of the front straight
IMA COWBOY was tightened for racing room, checked and fell as a consequence
taking no further competitive part in the race. Leaving the back straight SNOW RUNNER was
tightened for racing room, checked and lost ground. Rounding the turn into the front straight
HESA BIRD checked across the heels of REALITY GHOST and was checked as a
consequence. The greyhound IMA COWBOY underwent a
post race veterinarian examination and no apparent injuries were found. |

SURGEON 5th GRADE 431M Even start with the exception of HARA’S FLYER and NOISE
COMPLAINT which were both slow to begin.
Through the 1st turn SUNNYSIDE SURF, JUDY CEE and GENERAL
HUNTER were tightened for racing room, checked and lost ground. GENERAL HUNTER and RHONDDA MINER both raced
wide in the back straight. Leaving the
back straight JUDY CEE improved onto the heels of HARA’S FLYER resulting in
both greyhounds to be checked and lose ground. MR. DEXTER raced wide rounding the turn
into the front straight. |
