Stewards Trial 1 – 431m The greyhound DON AS performed a satisfactory
Return to Racing Trial 3 over the distance of 431m in a time of 25.73. The greyhound BELLA AS performed a
satisfactory Return to Racing Trial 3 over the distance of 431m in a time of
25.85. Stewards Trial 2 – 431m The greyhound FROSTY FLYER performed a
satisfactory stewards’ trial over the distance of 431m in a time of 25.31 and
is now cleared all tracks. |

MAIDEN 431M THUNDER
OF FIRE, NOIRE CHERIE and SHEZA RULER were all best to begin. SHAYLOR BART was slow to begin. Through the
turn into the back straight AFRICANO improved onto the heels of NOIRE CHERIE
and was checked. SPRING POLLY which
was trailing was checked as a result.
Out of the back straight into the turn NOIRE CHERIE shifted in
tightening the running of SHAYLOR BART and LAYLA LO resulting in both those
runners being checked. SPRING POLLY
which was trailling was checked as a result.
Through the turn into the front straight NOIRE CHERIE and SMASHNIAK
BARC collided resulting in SMASHNIAK BARC being checked. On entering the front straight SMASHNIAK
BARC was tightened for room and was forced to check out across the heels of
AFRICANO. AFRICANO raced wide in the
back straight. |

GREYHOUND-DATA.COM MAIDEN 431M WATCH OUT RENALD was best to begin. Shortly after the start GLAD I GOTCHA and
VILCABAMBA collided resulting in both runners losing ground. Through the turn into the back straight
HAPPY GLEN and SPRING NAKANO collided on several occasions resulting in HAPPY
GLEN being checked. SKY BOND which was
trailing improved onto that runner’s heels and collided resulting in both
runners being severely checked. On
entering the back straight GLAD I GOTCHA checked out across the heels of
VILCABAMBA and fell resulting in that runner taking no further competitive
part in the event. VILCAMBAMBA was
checked as a result. The greyhound GLAD I GOTCHA underwent a post-race
veterinarian examination and no apparent injuries were found. |

SKY RACING NOVICE 431M CASSIOPEIA,
ROSDUE SPRITE and SHE’S ALL BLONDE were all best to begin. Shortly after the start MONLOR KIM, AVOID
DAMAGE and CLOVER KNOX all collided resulting in AVOID DAMAGE and CLOVER KNOX
being checked. Through the turn into
the back straight ROSDUE SPRITE was tightened for room and checked. RUNAWAY KITTY which was trailing was
checked and forced out wider on the track as a result. Over the concluding stages of the even
MONLOR KIM and NEYMAY MAGIC bumped on a number of occasions. |

DISTANT SHORES collided resulting in DISTANT SHORES being checked. On entering the 1st turn DISTANT
SHORES shifted out and collided with ROSDUE CARBINE, resulting in both
runners being checked. THROTTLE ON and
BENTAXLE bumped resulting in BENTAXLE being hampered. DISTANT SHORES which was trailing was
hampered as a result. Leaving the back
straight into the turn THROTTLE ON shifted in and tightened the running of
SPRING DORRIE which was hampered.
DISTANT SHORES and GLAMOROUS KIM raced wide in the front and back
straights. BENTAXLE raced wide in the
front straight. |

O’TOOLE PAINTER 4/5th GRADE 520M MAYWYN’S COPY was best to begin. At the start GENERAL HUNTER was tightened
for room and checked. SUNNYSIDE JAY
and SPRING SHANAE bumped resulting in SUNNYSIDE JAY being checked. On entering the 1st turn GENERAL
HUNTER was tightened for room and hampered.
Shortly after MAYWYN’S COPY shifted out and bumped MAYWYN’S YING who
in turn shifted out and bumped CIGAR SAM.
Out of the turn into the front straight MAYWYN’S COPY shifted in and
collided with CIGAR SAM resulting in both runners being hampered and MAYWYN’S
COPY shifted out wider on the track. |

GIRL and FIREFLY ERN were slow to begin.
Through the turn into the back straight FLASH GEE was tightened for
room and checked. BOLD AS BRASH which
was trailing was checked as a result.
Out of the back straight into the turn GNARLEY GIRL was tightened for
room and checked. BEACH FRONT which
was trailing was checked as a result.
Through the turn into the front straight FLASH GEE checked out across
off the heels of BOLD AS BRASH.
MOTORIN’ CIDER raced wide in the back straight. KIKEM SPRINGER raced wide in the back and
front straights. FLASH GEE raced wide
in the front straight. |

begin. On entering the 1st
turn IVAN’S MATE and TOBIAS RUMBLE collided resulting in IVAN’S MATE being
hampered. Through the turn into the
back straight SPRING TRIXIE and BRALYN ICE collided resulting in BRALYN ICE
being hampered. Shortly after BENMESSO
improved onto and contacted the heels of SPRING TRIXIE resulting in both
runners being checked. Out of the turn
into the front straight TABBERER improved onto the heels of IVAN’S MATE and
shifted out and collided with BRALYN ICE resulting in BRALYN ICE being
hampered. SPRING TRIXIE raced wide in
the back and front straights. ROSDUE
GOANNA raced wide in the front straight. |

HEAT 2 431M MAGGIE BENZ and FIREFLYN JAMES were
slow to begin. Shortly after the start
NOT THE ONE, BLUE POINTER, SPRING BIG IRON and BARCELLA all collided
resulting in NOT THE ONE, BLUE POINTER and SPRING BIG IRON all being
checked. Out of the back straight into
the turn BARCELLA contacted the heels of ALLPA MAMA resulting in all runners
being checked. BLUE POINTER which was
trailing was hampered. In the back
straight NOT THE ONE and SPRING BIG IRON bumped on a number of occasions resulting
in SPRING BIG IRON being checked. On
entering the front straight BLUE POINTER checked out across the heels of
ALLPA MAMA. |

431M DOWN SIZED UP was best to begin. MIRANDA ROSE HI and SPRING HONEY bumped
shortly after the start and were hampered.
Approaching the 1st turn FAR FROM FEAR and GLOBAL DEEJAY
collided resulting in both runners being checked. AVAMAY, SPRING HONEY and MIRANDA ROSE HI
which were all trailing were checked as a result. Shortly after GLOBAL DEEJAY was tightened
for room and checked. The greyhound SPRING HONEY underwent a post-race
veterinarian examination and no apparent injuries were found. |

MASTERS 431M MAYWYN WILL WIN was best to begin. Shortly after the start PREMIER BEAR, FYRE
GAL and COST A QUID were all tightened for room and checked. Through the turn into the back straight
THAIDAY NIGHT and WINGED ELITE collided resulting in WINGED ELITE being
checked. Out of the turn into the back
straight WINGED ELITE clipped the heels of PREMIER BEAR and almost fell. WINGED ELITE tailed off and took no further
competitive part in the event. THAIDAY
NIGHT and COST A QUID raced wide in the front and back straights. The greyhound WINGED ELITE underwent a post-race
veterinarian examination and was found to have suffered an injury to the off
hind back muscle and was stood down for a period of 21 days. |
