Stewards T5rial 1 – 520m The greyhound LANCASTER BOMBER performed a
satisfactory stewards’ trial over the distance of 520m in a time of 31.33 and
is now cleared all tracks except Ipswich until after 30 September 2016. |

MAIDEN 520M SHEZA
RULER was best to begin. Through the
turn into the back straight SPRING DOTTIE checked out across the heels of
SHEZA RULER and collided with CORREEN’S LAD, resulting in CORREEN’S LAD
falling and taking no further competitive part in the event. SPRING DOTTIE continued to shift out and
collided with ROSDUE BLUE GUM which was checked as a result. Out of the back straight into the turn
SPRING DOTTIE was tightened for room and hampered. Through the turn into the front straight SMASHNIAK
BARC and ROSDUE BLUE GUM bumped on a number of occasions. The
greyhound CORREEN’S LAD underwent a post-race veterinarian examination and no
apparent injuries were found. |

SKY RACING MAIDEN 431M Even start. On
entering the 1st turn ROSDUE LOMBO, SPRING NAKANO, NOVELLA and
GALWAY ROSELLA were all tightened for room and checked. HEATON’S GIRL which was trailing was
checked as a result. Entering the back
straight SPRING DOLLY and PETITE LA FEMME bumped on a number of occasions resulting
in both runners being hampered.
Through the turn into the front straight ROSDUE LOMBO shifted out and
raced wide on the track forcing GALWAY ROSELLA out wider on the track. |

GREYHOUND-DATA.COM NOVICE 431M FROSTY FLYER,
PENNYLESS and IMMORTAL MARY were best to begin. CLOVER KNOX was slow to begin. Shortly after the start SPRING DORRIE was
tightened for room and hampered.
Through the turn into the back straight PENNYLESS was tightened for
room and checked and forced out wider on the track taking COLLISIONATE out
wider on the track. THUNDER OF FIRE
which was trailing was hampered as a result.
In the back straight FROSTY FLYER and IMMORTAL MARY collided on a
number of occasions. PENNYLESS raced
wide through the turn into the front straight. |

FONIC THUNDER checked out across the heels of GLAMOROUS KIM resulting in
GLAMOROUS KIM being taken out wider with STRONG STEP which was tightened for
room and checked as a result. FONIC
THUNDER raced wide in the front straight.

O’TOOLE PAINTER 5th GRADE FINAL 431M DOWN SIZED UP and IVAN’S MATE were best to begin. FIREFLY JAMES was slow to begin. Out of the back straight into the turn
WILDASH WIZARDS was tightened for room, checked and took no further part in
the event. The greyhound WILDASH WIZARDS underwent a post-race
veterinarian examination and was found to have suffered an injury to the off
side wrist and was humanely euthanised. |

O’REILLY PET FOODSD 4/5TH GRADE 520M Even start.
Shortly after the start TOUCH OF CAJUN was tightened for room and
hampered. On entering the 1st
turn SMOKING PAWS, DON’T DOUBLE UP and MAYWYN’S YING were all tightened for
room and checked. MAYWYN’S COPY which
was trailing was hampered as a result.
Through the turn into the back straight MAYWYNS’ YING was tightened
for room and checked. |

4/5th GRADE HEAT 1 431M BRAGA MCCOY was best to begin. Shortly after the start STUBBORN MISS,
CASEY UNDERCOVER, GLORIOUS WINTER and MR. TRANSPORTER were all tightened for
room and checked. In the back straight
CASEY UNDERCOVER was tightened for room and checked. |

GRADE HEAT 2 431M THROTTLE ON and KLOEIS PRIDE were best
to begin. MINSTREL MAN was slow to
begin. Shortly after the start TRAV’S
MAGIC and COSMIC REVENGE collided.
MINSTREL MAN and PUNCH RIGHT OUT which were trailing collided and were
hampered as a result. Shortly after
COSMIC REVENGE shifted outwards resulting in SPRING SHANGHAI which was
trailing to be checked. MINSTREL MAN
and PUNCH RIGHT OUT were forced out wide on the track as a result. COSMIC REVENGE and PUNCH RIGHT OUT bumped
over the concluding stages of the event. |

GREG STERNBERG VET SURGEON 4/5th GRADE HEAT 3
431M JAHIMIA was best to begin. SPLIT SYSTEM and HEZA SIZE UP bumped at the
start and lost ground. Through the
turn into the back straight BENMESSO was tightened for room, shifted out and
bumped MADAM’S FLASH’S. SPLIT SYSTEM,
HEZA SIZE UP and JAHIMIA which were all trailing were hampered as a
result. Through the turn into the
front straight BENMESSO and COSMO LEN collided resulting in COSMO LEN being
forced out wider on the track. CHEEKY
CHEECH and JAHIMIA which were trailing collided and were forced out wide on
the track as a result. CHEEKY CHEECH
raced wide in the back and front straights.

begin. Through the turn into the back
straight KILTY JACK, SHAYLOR GEORGE and LIL’ BIT SPARKY all collided
resulting in all 3 runners being hampered.
On entering the back straight PRATER’S PROBLEM was tightened for room
and checked. LIL’ BIT SPARKY raced
wide in the back straight. KILTY JACK
and MAYWYN WILL WIN raced wide in the front straight. |
