Stewards Trial 1 – 431m The greyhound CHIEF CHEROKEE performed a
satisfactory stewards’ trial over the distance of 431m in a time of 25.89 and
is now cleared all tracks up to 431m only. |

JENNY was best to begin. Shortly after
the start FROSTY GAIL and BEAR were tightened for room and hampered. Through the turn into the back straight
BEAR collided with PETITE LA FEMME resulting in both runners being hampered. UPBEAT TEMPO which was trailing collided
with BEAR resulting in both greyhounds being severely checked. Over the concluding stages of the event
FROSTY GAIL improved onto the heels of NANNY JENNY and was hampered. The
greyhound BEAR underwent a post-race veterinarian examination and was found to
have suffered an injury to the near side wrist and was stood down for a
period of 7 days. The
greyhound UPBEAT TEMPO underwent a post-race veterinarian examination and was
found to have suffered an injury to the near side hip support and was stood
down for a period of 10 days. |

SKY RACING MAIDEN 431M ZABDON BLUEY was best to begin. Shortly after the start KIMARI MARIA,
SPYING GAME and ROSDUE LOMBO all collided resulting in all 3 greyhounds being
checked. On entering the 1st
turn FROSTY BEJAY and LOTS OF TIME bumped.
Out of the back straight into the turn HAPPY GLEN shifted in and
collided with LOTS OF TIME, resulting in HAPPY GLEN being checked. On Entering the front straight HAPPY GLEN
checked out across the heels of LOTS OF TIME and collided with SIGARIA which
was hampered. HAPPY GLEN and KIMARI
MARIA raced wide in the back straight.

and SHEZA RULER were best to begin.
Shortly after the start KILCARNEY MIST was tightened for room and
checked. On entering the 1st
turn HOLD MY BEER, WHAT A MESS and WILDASH GEE all collided resulting in WHAT
A MESS and WILDASH GEE being checked.
NOT ANOTHA GINGA checked out across the heels of SHEZA RULER. Out of the back straight into the turn HOLD
MY BEER collided with CASSIOPEIA, NOT ANOTHA GINGA and SHEZA RULER resulting
in CASSIOPEIA, SHEZA RULER and NOT ANOTHA GINGA all being checked and forced
out wider on the track as a result.
WILDASH GEE which was trailing was hampered as a result. WILDASH GEE raced wide in the back
straight. The greyhound
CASSIOPEIA underwent a post-race veterinarian examination and no apparent
injuries were found. |

AUDREY was tightened for room, checked, shifted out and collided with THUNDER
OF FIRE, which was checked as a result. Through the turn into the back straight
FABULOUS LENY and SENNI LUCILLE collided resulting in SENNI LUCILLE being checked. BENTAXLE which was trailing collided with
SENNI LUCILLE resulting in both greyhounds being checked further. On entering the front straight SPRING
AUDREY and ROSDUE CARBINE collided resulting in both runners being
checked. BENTAXLE raced wide in the
back straight. SENNI LUCILLE raced
wide in the front straight. The greyhound GEM EXPRESS underwent a post-race
veterinarian examination and was found to have suffered an injury to the near
side shoulder and was stood down for a period of 7 days. |

BLACK RHINO was tightened for room and checked. Out of the back straight into the turn
COSMO LEN and BLACK RHINO were both tightened for room and checked. THROTTLE ON, MR. TRANSPORTER and SPLIT
SYSTEM raced wide in the back straight.
