satisfactory stewards’ trial over the distance of 431m in a time of 25.92 and
is now cleared all tracks except Brisbane. |

MAIDEN 431M ANNIE’S
MAGIC was best to begin. OUTBACK
MYSTERY was slow to begin. Shortly
after the start OUTBACK MYSTERY and GALWAY ROSELLA collided resulting in both
runners being hampered. Through the
turn into the back straight SPRING ROCCA checked out across the heels of
PETITE LA FEMME and lost ground. In
the back straight OUTBACK MYSTERY turned its head outwards and marred the
running of JUST SIZE. Out of the turn
into the back straight HOSTESS WATKINS shifted out and bumped NANNY JENNY and
was hampered. PETITE LA FEMME which
was trailing bumped HOSTESS WATKINS resulting in that runner losing ground. The
greyhound PETITE LA FEMME underwent a post-race veterinarian examination and
no apparent injuries were found. The
greyhound HOSTESS WATKINS underwent a post-race veterinarian examination and
no apparent injuries were found. The
greyhound GALWAY ROSELLA underwent a post-race veterinarian examination and
no apparent injuries were found. Stewards
advised trainer Mr. J Geoghegan that the greyhound OUTBACK MYSTERY would be
charged under Rule 69 Marring, 1st offence, 28 days plus a
satisfactory stewards’ trial 431m all tracks. |

SKY RACING MAIDEN 431M CHULU CHULULU and SPRING LILL were best to begin. Shortly after the start SPRING ERNIE was
tightened for room and lost ground. On
entering the 1st turn TOOTSWEET and MIDNIGHT BURN collided
resulting in both greyhounds being checked.
SPRING ERNIE and BIG BOY BATINA bumped in the back straight. Out of the back straight into the turn
TOOTSWEET checked out across the heels of MIDNIGHT BURN and lost ground. The greyhound TOOTSWEET underwent a post-race
veterinarian examination and no apparent injuries were found. |

was best to begin. Approaching the 1st
turn KIMARI MARIA, DIDDY BOY, TRANQUILO DIABLO and SPRING HOUDINI were all
tightened for room and checked.
Through the turn into the back straight DIDDY BOY checked out across
the heels of SPRING HOUDINI and lost ground.
On entering the back straight TRANQUILO DIABLO checked out across the
heels of KIMARI MARIA. DIDDY BOY raced
wide in the back and front straights. |

MIST contacted the heels of SMASHNIAK STORM.
Out of the back straight into the turn KILCARNEY MIST, SMASHNIAK STORM
and GALWAY ACHIEVER all collided resulting in all runners being checked. |

O’TOOLEY PAINTER NOVICE 431M ZABDON BLUEY was best to begin. Shortly after the start MJOLINER and WHAT A
MESS were tightened for room and hampered.
FONIC THUNDER and ZABDON CHEVY collided and were hampered. Shortly after FONIC THUNDER collided with a
NOT ANOTHA GINGA and shifted outwards resulting in MJOLINER, WHAT A MESS and
MAGIC MINSTREL all being checked.
FONIC THUNDER raced wide in the front straight. |

O’REILLY PET FOODS 5th GRADE FINAL 431M BENMESSO was slow to begin. Shortly after the start GEMMA BENZ and
HUMMIN GUN collided resulting in both runners being hampered. Through the turn into the back straight
HUMMIN GUN, MAX WEDGE and UNIQUE GHOSTY were all tightened for room and
hampered. On entering the back
straight BENMESSO was tightened for room and checked. Out of the back straight into the turn
UNIQUE GHOSTY and ONYA BENZ collided resulting in ONYA BENZ being checked. Shortly after MINSTREL MAN collided with
GNARLEY GIRL, fell and took no further competitive part in the event. The greyhound MINSTREL MAN underwent a post-race
veterinarian examination and no apparent injuries were found. |

431M STILTON HAYLEY was best to begin. Shortly after the start RATATAT shifted in
tightening the running of LIGHTNING WHITE, REIYN CHAI and COSMO LEN resulting
in all 3 runners being checked.
Shortly after ONLY EXIT shifted out tightening the running of GUY
FAWKES which was checked. LIGHTNING
WHITE which was trailing was hampered.
REIYN CHAAI was checked, shifted out and collided with a COSMO LEN
which was severely checked. The greyhound COSMO LEN underwent a post-race
veterinarian examination and no apparent injuries were found. |

C2C CONSTRUCTIONS 5th GRADE
HEAT 2 431M Even start. Shortly after the start GENERAL HUNTER was
tightened for room and checked.
Through the turn into the back straight ROUGH RED was tightened for
room and checked. STEP BACK LASS and
PYRO BOB which were trailing were severely checked as a result. Out of the back straight into the turn
THROTTLE ON and SPRING AUDREY collided.
Out of the back straight into the turn PYRO BOB collided with the
running rail and was checked. ROUGH
RED raced wide through the turn and into the front straight. The greyhound ROUGH RED underwent a post-race
veterinarian examination and no apparent injuries were found. The greyhound PRYO BOB underwent a post-race
veterinarian examination and no apparent injuries were found. |

RODMAN and HOLD MY BEER collided resulting in both runners being
checked. Out of the back straight into
the turn GENERAL CLOUD and RAMBLIN’ ROSE collided resulting in both runners
being hampered. RODMAN shifted in and
collided with HOLD MY BEER resulting in both runners being checked. WILDASH GEE raced wide in the front
straight. |

MASTERS 431M EPIC HORIZON was slow to begin. Through the turn into the back straight
COLD HARD TRUTH shifted out tightening the running of SHAYLOR SAM which was
checked. EPIC HORIZON which was trailing collided with SHAYLOR SAM resulting
in EPIC HORIZON being severely checked and SHAYLOR SAM falling taking no
further competitive part in the event.
COST A QUID raced wide in the back and front straights. The greyhound SHAYLOR SAM underwent a post-race
veterinarian examination and no apparent injuries were found. The greyhound EPIC HORIZON underwent a post-race
veterinarian examination and no apparent injuries were found. |
