Stewards Trial 1 – 431m The greyhound ROSDUE JITTERBUG performed a
satisfactory 6 month trial over the distance of 431m in a time of 26.02. |

RACING MAIDEN 431M ZODIAC
SANDY was best to begin. RAQUEL’S
MAGIC and GLAD I GOTCHA were slow to begin.
Shortly after the start SPRING LILL and NANNY JENNY collided. RAQUEL’S MAGIC and GLAD I GOTCHA collided. Approaching the 1st turn ORPHAN
ANNIE, ON THE WALL, SPRING LILL, NANNY JENNY and SPRING HOUDINI all collided
resulting in ORPHAN ANNIE, ON THE WALL and SPRING LILL being checked. RAQUEL’S MAGIC which were trailing was
checked and forced out wider on the track as a result. GLAD I GOTCHA raced wide in the back
straight. Over the concluding stages
of the event SPRING LILL and ORPHAN ANNIE bumped. The
greyhound GLAD I GOTCHA underwent a post-race veterinarian examination and no
apparent injuries were found. |

GREYHOUND-DATA.COM MAIDEN 431M ROSDUE AVALON was best to begin. ITSA PATCHY was slow to begin. On entering the 1st turn ORACLE
KATE, SPRING ERNIE, ISOBELLA’S MAGIC and EUROA KATE were all tightened for
room and checked. Through the turn
into the front straight ITSA PATCHY and ROSDUE AVALON collided. EUROA KATE and ISOBELLA’S MAGIC collided
and were both forced out wider on the track and lost ground as a result. EUROA KATE then shifted in and collided
with ORACLE KATE resulting in both runners being checked. |

SCOTT O’TOOLE PAINTER NOVICE 431M Even
start. On entering the 1st
turn NOT ANOTHA GINGA, PIPELINE PIP, FARMOR DIVA and LITTLE MADAM all
collided resulting in FARMOR DIVA being checked. FONIC THUNDER which was trailing collided
with that runner, fell and took no further competitive part in the
event. Shortly after RED RIVER ROSE
checked out across the heels of TIZZYWING and collided with NOT ANOTHA GINGA,
who then collided with PIPELINE PIP to its outside resulting in all runners
being checked. LITTLE MADAM which was
trailing was checked as a result. On
entering the back straight PIPELINE PIP was tightened for room and
checked. PREMIER HONEY raced wide in
the front straight. The greyhound
FONIC THUNDER underwent a post-race veterinarian examination and no apparent
injuries were found. The greyhound

O’REILLY PET FOODS NOVICE 431M BENTAXLE was slow to begin. Shortly after the start BEKLANA and ZARA
MAGIC collided resulting in both runners being hampered. Through the turn into the back straight BET
YOU WILL was tightened for room and checked.
Out of the back straight into the turn BENTAXLE and ZARA MAGIC were
both tightened for room and checked.
Through the turn into the front straight POWER OF PENNY checked out
across the heels of BET YOU WILL. BET
YOU WILL raced wide in the back straight. |

YOUNG MEMORIAL 4/5th GRADE HEAT 1 520M MY SUPER was slow to begin. Through the turn into the back straight ARE
YOU THERE checked out across the heels of JIMMY BRUTE and collided with
SHANAE’S MAGIC and was severely checked.
SHANAE’S MAGIC was checked. On
entering the back straight HEIR OF KING and SHANAE’S MAGIC collided resulting
in SHANAE’S MAGIC being checked. ARE
YOU THERE and HEIR OF KING raced wide in the back straight. The greyhound SHANAE’S MAGIC underwent a post-race
veterinarian examination and no apparent injuries were found. |

JOHN YOUNG MEMORIAL 4/5th GRADE HEAT 2 520M WHITE MARLIN, LEHMAN BENZ and EMMA’S MAGIC were all slow
to begin. Shortly after the start
DON’T DOUBLE UP was tightened for room and hampered. On entering the 1st turn MR.
REALITY shifted out and collided with PYRO BOB which in turn shifted out and
collided with LEHMAN BENZ resulting in both these runners being forced out
wider on the track and losing ground. The greyhound DON’T DOUBLE UP underwent a post-race
veterinarian examination and was found to have suffered an injury to the near
hind back muscle and was stood down for a period of 28 days. |

JOHN YOUNG MEMORIAL 4/5th GRADE HEAT 3 520M HOUDINI HI began awkwardly. Shortly after the start SCAR’S BROTHER and
ROCKY BE GOOD bumped. ROCKY BE GOOD
was hampered as a result. Out of the
turn into the back straight HOUDINI HI was tightened for room and
hampered. CHEEKY CHEECH raced wide in
the back and front straights. |

GRADE HEAT 4 520M THIS TIME MADDIE was best to
begin. CHASING RAINBOWS knuckled at
the start. Through the turn into the
back straight SPECIAL VISION bumped CHASING RAINBOWS and was hampered. In the front straight LARSIE LOU and THIS
TIME MADDIE bumped. TARKS BLACK ROSE
raced wide in the back straight. |

C2C CONSTRUCTION 5th GRADE FINAL 431M GENERAL HUNTER and GENERAL CLOUD were best to begin. Approaching the 1st turn RATATAT
was tightened for room and checked.
Through the turn into the back straight COSMO TRAV and GIL MARCHI
collided and were both checked. Out of
the back straight into the turn GENERAL CLOUD contacted the heels of STILTON
HAYLEY resulting in both runners being hampered. GENERAL HUNTER raced wide through the turn
and into the back and front straights. |

GREG STERNBERG VET SURGEON 4/5th GRADE 431M GO THE SPOILS and LIL’ BIT SPARKY were slow to
begin. On entering the 1st
turn FABULOUS TRAV, TWO SIZE’S ALL and TRICKY TRON all collided resulting in
TWO SIZE’S ALL and TRICKY TRON being checked.
On entering the back straight TRICKY TRON collided with TWO SIZE’S ALL
and was checked. Through the turn into
the front straight GO THE SPOILS contacted the heels of BONNIE’S DREAM
resulting in both runners being checked.
SPIKE BENZ and FABULOUS TRAV raced wide in the back straight. GO THE SPOILS raced wide in the front
straight. The greyhound TRICKY TRON underwent a post-race
veterinarian examination and no apparent injuries were found. |
