At the start of the event SAMANTHA BENZ’ racing muzzle became dislodged.  The trainer when questioned by stewards did believe that the dislodgment of the muzzle created a hindrance on the greyhound’s performance.  The trainer added that he would be changing the greyhound’s muzzle before the start of its next performance in an effort to prevent this incident from occurring again in the future.

The greyhound SAMANTHA BENZ underwent a post-race veterinary examination and no apparent injuries were found.
