MAIDEN 431M ON
THE WALL was best to begin. ITSA
PATCHY was slow to begin. On entering
the 1st turn SPRING ROCCA, SPRING NAKANO and NANNY JENNY were all
tightened for room and checked. SPRING
NAKANO fell as a result and lost significant ground. SPRING DOTTIE and TOP TELLER were both hampered
and forced out wider on the track as a result. Out of the turn into the front straight
ITSA PATCHY improved onto the heels of ON THE WALL and was hampered. Over the concluding stages of the event
ITSA PATCHY failed to pursue the lure with due commitment. The
greyhound SPRING NAKANO underwent a post-race veterinarian examination and no
apparent injuries were found. The
greyhound ITSA PATCHY underwent a post-race veterinarian examination and no
apparent injuries were found. Stewards
advised trainer Mr. M Gardiner that the greyhound would be charged under Rule
69 (A) Failing to Pursue, 1st offence, 28 days plus a satisfactory
stewards’ trial 431 all tracks. |

SKY RACING MAIDEN 431M TITLE and LOTS OF TIME were best to begin. RAQUEL’S MAGIC was slow to begin. On entering the 1st turn SPRING
HOUDINI shifted in and collided with DENOUEMENT resulting in both runners
being checked. SIZE WISE which was
trailing was checked as a result. Out
of the back straight into the turn SPRING HOUDINI was tightened for room and
checked. Shortly after DENOUEMENT
shifted in and bumped the running rail and was hampered. Through the turn into the front straight
DENOUEMENT checked out across the heels of ONE ATE ZERO. The greyhound SPRING HOUDINI underwent a post-race
veterinarian examination and no apparent injuries were found. The greyhound DENOUEMENT underwent a post-race
veterinarian examination and was found to have suffered an injury to the near
side pin and was stood down for a period of 7 days. |

was best to begin. Approaching the 1st
turn GALWAY EAGLE and CELEBRITY INK were both tightened for room and
checked. WHAT A MESS and STRONG STEP
which were trailing were both checked as a result. Out of the back straight into the turn WHAT
A MESS contacted the heels of GALWAY EAGLE resulting in both runners being
hampered. STRONG STEP which was
trailing was hampered as a result.
PREMIER HONEY raced wide in the back and front straights. The greyhound
PREMIER HONEY underwent a post-race veterinarian examination and was found to
have suffered an injury to the near side hip and was stood down for a period
of 10 days. |

O’TOOLE PAINTER 5th GRADE HEAT 1 431M COLD HARD TRUTH was slow to begin. Shortly after the start RAISE THE ALARM,
SPRING AUDREY and GUY FAWKES all bumped resulting in RAISE THE ALARM and GUY
FAWKES being hampered. Shortly after
COLD HARD TRUTH shifted out and collided with RAISE THE ALARM which in turn
shifted out and collided with a GUY FAWKES forcing those runners out wider on
the track being hampered. Out of the
back straight into the turn RAISE THE ALARM was tightened for room and
checked. Through the turn into the
front straight NOT ANOTHA GINGA, GLOBAL DEEJAY and COLD HARD TRUTH all bumped
resulting in GLOBAL DEEJAY and NOT ANOTHA GINGA being hampered. The greyhound RIASE THE ALARM underwent a post-race
veterinarian examination and no apparent injuries were found. |

O’REILLY PET FOODS 3/4th GRADE 431M SHANAE’S MAGIC was best to begin. Shortly after the start PEBBLE BAY, CASH
EXPLOSION and ANGEL PRINCESS all bumped resulting in CASH EXPLOSION being
hampered. Approaching the 1st
turn ANGEL PRINCESS shifted in and collided with PEBBLE BAY which then
shifted in and collided with COSMO CYNDIE resulting in both runners being
severely checked. ANGEL PRINCESS and
MARINER’S BEACH which were trailing were both checked as a result. ANGEL PRINCESS raced wide in the back
straight. The greyhound MARINER’S BEACH underwent a post-race
veterinarian examination and was found to have suffered an injury to the off
side pin and was stood down for a period of 10 days. |

Shortly after the start MAYWYN’S COPY was tightened for room and
hampered. Out of the front straight
into the turn NOT THE ONE, MAYWYN’S COPY and CHEEKY CHANCE all collided
resulting in all three runners being forced out wider on the track and losing
ground. Through the turn into the back
straight SPRING DEAL checked out across the heels of MOTORIN’ CIDER. MOTORIN’ CIDER and CHASING RAINBOWS raced
wide in the back straight. Out of the
back straight into the turn MOTORIN’ CIDER, MAYWYN’S COPY and CHEEKY CHANCE
all collided resulting in all 3 runners being checked. Through the turn into the front straight
NOT THE ONE and MOTORIN’ CIDER collided. The greyhound MOTORIN’ CIDER underwent a post-race
veterinarian examination and was found to have suffered an injury to the off
side wrist and was stood down for a period of 10 days. |

BRUTE and WHITE MARLIN collided resulting in both runners being
hampered. Through the turn into the
back straight JIMMY BRUTE and WHITE MARLIN collided. ZABDON LAMBO raced wide in the back
straight. The greyhound ALOTA AMY underwent a post-race

431M The greyhound SILKY OAK underwent a pre-race veterinarian
examination and no apparent injuries were found. COOPOLLY BEACH was best to begin. FABULOUS LENY was slow to begin. Approaching the 1st turn COST A
QUID, SILKY OAK and GENERAL HUNTER all collided resulting in GENERAL HUNTER
and SILKY OAK being hampered. FABULOUS
LENY which was trailing was hampered as a result. Out of the back straight into the turn
GENERAL HUNTER shifted in and collided with SILKY OAK which then shifted in
and collided with FABULOUS LENY, resulting in SILKY OAK and FABULOUS LENY
being checked. EMMA’S MAGIC collided
with the running rail out of the back straight into the turn. Through the turn into the front straight
FABULOUS LENY checked out across the heels of SILKY OAK. On entering the front straight COST A QUID
and BEETOWN TOMMY collided. COST A
QUID and BEETOWN TOMMY bumped on a number of occasions in the front
straight. GENERAL HUNTER raced wide in
the back straight. The greyhound COST A QUID underwent a post-race
veterinarian examination and no apparent injuries were found. The greyhound EMMA’S MAGIC underwent a post-race

hampered. In the back straight
BENMESSO, COSMO TRAV and AVAMAY all bumped on a number of occasions and lost
ground. RUDOLFINUM which was trailing
was hampered as a result. BACK TO
BUSINESS raced wide in the back straight. |
