Stewards Trial 2 – 431m The greyhound WILDASH WILDBOY performed a
satisfactory stewards’ trial over the distance of 431m in a time of 25.44 and
is now cleared all tracks. |

MAIDEN 431M NANNY
JENNY and STETSON MAX were best to begin.
HAPPY GLEN was slow to begin.
Shortly after the start ROSDUE LOMBO was tightened for room and
hampered. Through the 1st
turn SPRING NAKANO was tightened for room and checked. BIG DIPPA which was trailing was hampered
as a result. Shortly after STETSON MAX
shifted inwards colliding with HAPPY GLEN resulting in HAPPY GLEN to be
hampered and STETSON MAX to be severely checked. ROSDUE LOMBO which was trailing checked
outwards across the heels of STETSON MAX and raced wide into the back
straight. In the back straight STETSON
MAX shifted inwards and made contact with the running rail. Leaving the back straight into the turn
HAPPY GLEN was tightened for room and checked. SPRING NAKANO which was trailing was hampered
as a result. ROSDUE LOMBO was wide in
the front straight. The
greyhound STETSON MAX underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was
found to have suffered an injury to the near for leg and was stood down for a
period of 10 days. |

SKY RACING MAIDEN 431M PENTADOG and SHAYLOR FLASH were slow to begin. Shortly after the start PENTADOG and
SHAYLOR FLASH bumped resulting in SHAYLOR FLASH to be hampered. Rounding the turn into the back straight
VELOCITY MIA was tightened for room and checked. Leaving the back straight SHAYLOR FLASH
collided with the running rail.
Shortly after PENTADOG was tightened for room and checked. Rounding the turn into the front straight
SIMMSY’S NINERON turned its head outwards and marred the running of ROSDUE
WRANGLER. In the front straight
SIMMSY’S NINERON and ROSDUE WRANGLER were wide. The greyhound SHAYLOR FLASH underwent a post-race
veterinary examination and no apparent injuries were found. The greyhound SIMMSY’S NINERON underwent a post-race
veterinary examination and no apparent injuries were found. Stewards advised trainer Mr. W Nicholls
that the greyhound would be charged under Rule 69 Marring, 1st
offence, 28 days plus a satisfactory stewards’ trial 431m all tracks. |

was slow to begin. Shortly after the
start JIMARY LOLLIPOP and FARMOR SNIPPETS bumped resulting in both greyhounds
being hampered. Upon entering the 1st
turn PIPELINE PIP, SENNI LUCILLE and RED STEEL were tightened for room
resulting in PIPELINE PIP and RED STEEL to be checked and SENNI LUCILLE to be
severely checked. Entering the turn out
of the back straight FARMOR SNIPPETS was tightened for room and checked. SENNI LUCILLE was wide in the back
straight. |

Shortly after THUNDER CLAP and JULIE SIZE collided resulting in JULIE
SIZE to be hampered. Upon entering the
1st turn THUNDER CLAP and JULIE SIZE collided resulting in both
greyhounds being checked. ROSDUE CARBINE
which was trailing was checked as a result.
In the back straight SPRING DOTTIE and SOARING HAWKE were tightened
for room and checked. Through the turn
out of the back straight ROSDUE CARBINE checked outwards across the heels of
SPRING DOTTIE. |

O’TOOLE PAINTER 4/5th GRADE 520M SOUTHERN FLOSS was best to begin. NOT THE ONE was slow to begin. Shortly after the start TIZZYWING was
tightened for room and checked. Upon
entering the 1st turn SOUTHERN FLOSS and SPRING DEAL were
tightened for room and checked.
TIZZYWING and NOT THE ONE which were trialling were hampered and
shifted wider on the turn as a result.
Rounding the turn into the front straight SOUTHERN FLOSS checked out
across the heels of TIZZYWING. Leaving
the turn into the front straight SOUTHERN FLOSS and SPRING DEAL collided
resulting in both greyhounds being hampered.
In the back straight TIZZYWING and NOT THE ONE were wide. |

Shortly after the start MAYWYN PETTYCASH was tightened for room and
checked. On entering the 1st
turn RAGNAR LOTHBROK, COSMO TRAV, MAYWYN IF LUCKY and FARMOR DIVA were
tightened for room and checked.
Leaving the back straight into the turn COSMO CYNDIE checked outwards
across the heels of IMMORTAL MARY.
Through the turn out of the back straight RAGNAR LOTHBROK checked out
across the heels of MAYWYN IF LUCKY.
MAYWYN PETTYCASH was wide in the back and front straights. |

hampered. Shortly after FABULOUS TRAV
contacted the hindquarters of SPRING AUDREY resulting in FABULOUS TRAV to be
hampered. Leaving the back straight
into the turn FABULOUS TRAV and SPRING AUDREY bumped resulting in SPRING
AUDREY to be hampered. Shortly after
FABULOUS STORM was tightened for room and checked. Upon entering the front straight FABULOUS
STORM shifted outwards and bumped SPRING AUDREY resulting in SPRING AUDREY to
be hampered. In the back straight
GLENALLON ZULU was wide. In the front
straight FABULOUS TRAV and GLENALLON ZULU were wide. |

HEAT 2 431M TABBERER was best to begin. MILKY CHANCE was slow to begin. Shortly after the start MOKO ROSE HI and
TABBERER collided resulting in MOKO ROSE HI to be checked. Upon entering the 1st turn
TABBERER was tightened for room and checked.
MOKO ROSE HI and CLOVER COTTAGE which were trialling were checked as a
result. Rounding the turn into the
back straight BEETOWN TOMMY and COSMO WAZ collided resulting in both
greyhounds being hampered. Upon
entering the front straight FROSTY FLYER and SPRING ELLIE collided resulting
in FROSTY FLYER to be hampered. In the
front straight BEETOWN TOMMY was wide. |

GREG STERNBERG VET SURGEON 5th GRADE HEAT 3
431M LITTLE ACH CEE was best to begin. Upon entering the 1st turn TAKEN
NOVA, MIRANDA ROSE HI and FABULOUS WAZ were tightened for room and
checked. Shortly after REIYN CHAAI
improved onto the heels of TIP TIP HOORAY and was checked. Leaving the back straight into the turn
REIYN CHAAI and MIRANDA ROSE HI collided resulting in both greyhounds being
checked. TAKEN NOVA which was trailing
was hampered as a result and forced wider on the turn. After the running of the event stewards questioned
trainer Mr. Anthony Hess over his actions towards his greyhounds tail when
placing it in the starting box. Stewards warned Mr. Hess over these actions
and advised any further indiscretions would result in a more severe penalty. |

best to begin. Rounding the turn into

both greyhounds being checked. HER’S
NOT HIS and FYRE GAL which were trailing were hampered as a result. Leaving the back straight into the turn MAL
ROSE HI checked outwards across the heels of COLD HARD TRUTH. In the front straight TECHNO LADY was wide. |
