Stewards Trial 1 – 431m The greyhound CHILLED HEAT performed a
satisfactory 6 month trial over the distance of 431m in a time of 25.00. Stewards Trial 2 – 520m The greyhound RENALD’S RIVALRY performed a
satisfactory stewards’ trial over the distance of 520m in a time of 30.98 and
is now cleared all tracks except Brisbane and after 30 October 2016. The greyhound PORT LISA performed a
satisfactory stewards’ trial over the distance of 520m in a time of 31.00 and
is now cleared all tracks after 11 November 2016. |

DIPPA was slow to begin. CHAMPAGNE
SALLY and REFLECTED were best to begin.
Shortly after the start ABBY NORMAL and SUPER EYE QUE collided. Approaching the 1st turn
CHAMPAGNE SALLY and REFLECTED collided resulting in both runners shifting out
wider on the track. IT’S ABOUT TIME
was forced out wider on the track as a result. ABBY NORMAL and SUPER EYE QUE collided
resulting in both runners being checked.
In the back straight BIG DIPPA and SUPER EYE QUE bumped on a number of
occasions. Through the turn into the
front straight SUPER EYE QUE and BIG DIPPA bumped on a number of
occasions. On entering the front
straight SUPER EYE QUE turned its head outwards and marred the running of BIG
DIPPA resulting in that runner being checked.
SUPER EYE QUE then shifted inwards and marred the running of ABBY
NORMAL, resulting in both runners being checked. Stewards
advised trainer Mrs. P Field that the greyhound SUPER EYE QUE would be
charged under Rule 69 Marring, 1st offence, 28 days plus a
satisfactory stewards’ trial 520m all tracks. |

SKY RACING MAIDEN FINAL 520M LONGTIME COMIN’ was best to begin. At the start BRONCO BOY was tightened for
room and checked. Shortly after IMA
RUNAWAY and BLUE ME collided resulting in both runners being hampered. Approaching the 1st turn STING
‘EM WASP and PASS THE AMMO bumped on a number of occasions resulting in both
runners being hampered. On entering
the 1st turn BRONCO BOY checked out across the heels of SATAN’S
GIFT and collided with IMA RUNAWAY which was forced out wider on the track
taking BLUE ME wider. Through the turn
into the front straight BLUE ME contacted the heels of BRONCO BOY, faltered
and shifted out wider on the track. The greyhound BLUE ME underwent a post-race veterinarian
examination and was found to have suffered an injury to the off side hip and
was stood down for a period of 10 days. |

SCOTT O’TOOLE PAINTER NOVICE 520M Even
start. Shortly after the start FARMOR
DIVA was tightened for room and checked.
Approaching the 1st turn NOVELLA was tightened for room and
hampered. Shortly after entering the
turn COSMIC CAPERS shifted out resulting in STRONG STEP contacting that
runner’s heels and shifting out wider on the track. Out of the back straight into the turn
NOVELLA, REAL CALL and MIGHTY NOVA all bumped resulting in MIGHTY NOVA being
checked. FARMOR DIVA which was
trailing contacted that runner’s heels, shifted in and bumped the running
rail. On entering the front straight
NOVELLA checked out across the heels of PEPPER BEACH and collided with COSMIC
CAPERS resulting in both runners being hampered. STRONG STEP raced wide in the back and
front straights. The greyhound
FARMOR DIVA underwent a post-race veterinarian examination and no apparent
injuries were found. |

5th GRADE 431M Even start. DODGY
DANCER was tightened for room at the start and checked. On entering the 1st turn PEBBLE
BAY was tightened for room and shifted out colliding with KLOEIS PRIDE which
in turn shifted out and collided with REIYN CHAAI and DODGY DANCER resulting
in all runners being checked. Through
the turn into the back straight KAMILAROI DUK contacted the heels of BOXING
ROO GIRL and was hampered. REIYN CHAAI
which was trailing was hampered as a result.
Out of the back straight into the turn KLOEIS PRIDE was tightened for
room and checked. On entering the
front straight PEBBLE BAY collided with PASS YOU BY resulting in PASS YOU BY
being forced out wider on the track.
DODGY DANCER raced wide in the back and front straights. The greyhound BOXING ROO GIRL underwent a post-race
veterinarian examination and was found to have suffered an injury to the near
hind webbing and was stood down for a period of 10 days. |

TRACK
& TRAIN 4/5th GRADE 431M FLAPPING GUMS was best to begin. FABULOUS STORM was slow to begin. Shortly after the start LEHMAN BENZ and
ARABIAN MELODY bumped resulting in both greyhounds being hampered. On entering the back straight RATATAT and
LUCY BENZ collided resulting in LUCY BENZ being checked. Out of the back straight into the turn
MACNIVEK contacted the heels of FLAPPING GUMS resulting in both runners being
hampered. LEHMAN BENZ and ARABIAN
MELODY raced wide in the back and front straights. The greyhound FABULOUS STORM underwent a post-race
veterinarian examination and was found to have suffered an injury to the off
side shoulder and was stood down for a period of 14 days. |

O’REILLY PET FOODS 5th GRADE FINAL 520M GIFTEDN ANGEL was best to begin. MY SUPER was slow to begin. Shortly after the start NATURAL LAD checked
out across the heels of GIFTED ANGEL.
Approaching the 1st turn GIFTED ANGEL was tightened for
room and hampered. LIKA BREWSKI which
was trailing shifted out and collided with NATURAL LAD which in turn shifted
out and collided with MY SUPER, resulting in all 3 runners being checked and
forced out wider on the track. In the
back straight MY SUPER shifted in resulting in NATURAL LAD being
checked. Out of the back straight into
the turn MY SUPER continued to shift in tightening the running of LIKA
BREWSKI which collided with that runner, fell and took no further competitive
part in the event. NATURAL LAD which
was trailing was checked as a result.
KNEW YOU WOULD raced wide for the majority of the event. The greyhound LIKA BREWSKI underwent a post-race
veterinarian examination and no apparent injuries were found. |

entering the 1st turn SIZEABLE was tightened for room and
checked. Through the turn into the
back straight SIZEABLE was tightened for room and checked. Out of the back straight into the turn DON’T
TOUCH and SPORTFAN were both tightened for room and checked. WILLY DO raced wide for the majority of the
event. The greyhound WILLY DO underwent a post-race veterinarian
examination and was found to have suffered an injury to the off side wrist
and was stood down for a period of 28 days. The greyhound PRINCESS EMALYS underwent a post-race
veterinarian examination and was found to have suffered an injury to the off
hind toe and was stood down for a period of 7 days. |

C2C CONSTRUCTIONS 4/5th
GRADE 520M BEACH FRONT was best to begin. Shortly after the start SOOT SPRITE, GUN
LEGACY and MY AWESOME MAGIC all collided resulting in all runners being
hampered. SWITCH BLADE was tightened
for room and hampered. On entering the
1st turn SWITCH BLADE bumped with BEACH FRONT which shifted out
and bumped GUN LEGACY, which in turn shifted out and collided with RUM
RAMBLER, resulting in GUN LEGACY being checked. SOOT SPRITE which was trailing collided
with that runner and was checked. Out
of the back straight into the turn SUITE ALEXIS and SWITCH BLADE bumped
resulting in both runners being hampered.

GREG STERNBERG VET SURGEON 5th GRADE 431M The start of this race was delayed when HOPPING HOUDINI
proved difficult to box. Even
start. Shortly after the start HOPPING
HOUDINI, HESA BIRD and THROTTLE ON all collided and were checked. Through the
turn into the back straight NACEY’S HERO was tightened for room, checked,
shifted out and collided with LIL’ BIT SPARKY which was checked as a
result. THROTTLE ON which was trailing
was checked. Out of the back straight
into the turn LIL’ BIT SPARKY bumped the rail and was hampered. On entering the front straight ELEGANT
STRIDER and HESA BIRD collided.
THROTTLE ON raced wide for the majority of the event. The greyhound LIL’ BIT SPARKY underwent a post-race
veterinarian examination and no apparent injuries were found. |

ZABDON NUGGET, MISSED CONTROL and SPYING GAME all collided resulting in
ZABDON NUGGET and MISSED CONTROL being hampered and SPYING GAME being
checked. Shortly after ZABDON NUGGET
shifted out and collided with MISSED CONTROL resulting in both runners being
checked. On entering the back straight
DISTANT SHORES was tightened for room and checked out across the heels of
BATTLE READY. Out of the back straight
into the turn SPYING GAME was tightened for room and checked. Through the turn into the front straight
SPYING GAME checked out across the heels of MADAM LOOPSY. DISTANT SHORES and ZABDON NUGGET raced wide
in the back and front straights. |
