Stewards received correspondence from trainer
D. Hannon concerning the greyhound FASHION ADVICE which raced at Ipswich on
25/10/2016. Ms. Hannon advised stewards
post event that the greyhound had suffered an injury to its pin muscle.

Stewards Trail 1 – 431m The greyhound ITSA
PATCHY performed a satisfactory stewards’ trial over the distance of 431m in
a time of 25.45 and is now cleared all tracks except Ipswich until after 3
November 2016. |

MAIDEN HEAT 1 431M NANTUCKET
KAHN and NIKITA’S GLAMOUR were best to begin.
Entering the 1st turn AGENDA, ESCALA and FROSTY FOX were
tightened for room and checked.
BINALONG ROAD which was trailing was hampered and forced wider on the
turn as a result. Leaving the turn
into the back straight FROSTY FOX checked out across the heels of BINALONG
ROAD. Shortly after COLLIE ROSE HI
checked out across the heels of AGENDA.
Shortly after COLLIE ROSE HI contacted the heels of BINALONG ROAD and was
checked. FROSTY FOX which was
trialling was hampered as a result.
Leaving the back straight into the turn FROSTY FOX was tightened for
room, checked and forced wider through the turn. Rounding the turn into the front straight
VELOCITY MIA checked out across the heels of NIKITA’S GLAMOUR. BINALONG ROAD was wide in the back straight. |

SKY RACING MAIDEN HEAT
2 431M HUCKABEE was slow to begin. Shortly after the start VICKI’S CHOICE
shifted outwards and collided with TARIQ KAHN resulting in both greyhounds
being checked. OLD MATE AMIGO and PENTADOG
which were racing to its outside were checked as a result. FROSTY BEJAY which was trailing was
hampered as a result. Entering the 1st
turn OLD MATE AMIGO was tightened for room and severely checked, fell and
took no part in the event. SLIP MY
MIND which was trailing was also checked, fell and took no further
competitive part in the event. TARIQ
KAHN and FROSTY BEJAY which were trailing were checked and forced wider on
the turn as a result. Entering the
turn out of the back straight HUCKABEE was tightened for room and
hampered. Rounding the turn into the
front straight PENTADOG and VICKI’S CHOICE bumped resulting in VICKI’S CHOICE
to be hampered. FROSTY BEJAY was wide
in the back straight. The greyhound SLIP MY MIND underwent a post-race
veterinary examination and no apparent injuries were found. The greyhound OLD MATE AMIGO underwent a post-race
veterinary examination and was found to have suffered an injury to the near
fore leg and was humanely euthanised. |

ALPHA FINANCILA SERVICES MAIDEN FINAL 431M MIDNIGHT BURN
and ASTON DANGER were best to begin.
BIG DIPPA, SPIRITUAL MAN and SPECTRAILLE were slow to begin. Shortly after the start SPIRITUAL MAN and
SPECTRAILLE were tightened for room and checked. Entering the 1st turn KAAN
PAKMAK and WAY OF SHADOWS collided resulting in both greyhounds being
hampered. Shortly after MIDNIGHT BURN
was tightened for room and checked.
SPIRITUAL MAN and WAY OF SHADOWS which were trailing were hampered as
a result. Leaving the turn into the
back straight WAY OF SHADOWS and MIDNIGHT BURN were tightened for room and
checked. Leaving the back straight
into the turn MIDNIGHT BURN was tightened for room and hampered. Rounding the turn into the front straight
MIDNIGHT BURN shifted outwards and collided with SPIRITUAL MAN resulting in
both greyhounds to be checked.

begin. Entering the 1st
turn TITLE and SHINTARO STAR were tightened for room and checked. Shortly after AUGUST FLAME improved onto
the heels of ON THE WALL resulting in AUGUST FLAME to be hampered. In the back straight TITLE contacted the
heels of GEM EXPRESS resulting in GEM EXPRESS to be checked. |

GATON
TYRE SERVICE 5th GRADE 431M EMKAY BENZ and BANG ON TARGET were best to begin. DEEP DESPAIR, NO NONSENSE and SPRING HONEY
were marginally slow to begin.
Entering the 1st turn SPRING HONEY shifted in and collided
with DEEP DESPAIR resulting in both greyhounds to be checked. Leaving the 1st turn into the
back straight NACEY’S HERO was tightened for room and checked. Leaving the back straight into the turn
EMKAY BENZ was tightened for room and hampered. NO NONSENSE which was trailing was checked
and forced wider into the turn as a result.
Rounding the turn into the front straight NO NONSENSE improved onto
the heels of DEEP DESPAIR resulting in both greyhounds to be severely checked
and forced wider into the straight. The greyhound NO NONSENSE underwent a post-race veterinary
examination and no apparent injuries were found. |

GOLDEN VIEW GREYHOUND COMPLEX 5th GRADE 431M JEN ROSE HI was slow to begin. Entering the 1st turn ELLIE’S
BOY, HASSIE’S HASSLE, AINIA and SHORT CAKE CLOUD were all tightened for room
and checked. Leaving the turn into the
back straight HASSIE’S HASSLE was tightened for room and checked. JEN ROSE HI which was racing to its outside
was checked as a result. Shortly after
ELLIE’S BOY checked out across the heels of SHORT CAKE CLOUD. Leaving the back straight into the turn JEN
ROSE HI was tightened for room and hampered. |

4/5th GRADE 431M GENERAL CLOUD was slow to begin. Shortly after the start SPLIT SYSTEM, ONYA
BENZ, CROWN EDDIE, SPRING AGUSTUS, HEZA SIZE UP and TABBERER were all
tightened for room resulting in ONYA BENZ and TABBERER to be hampered and
CROWN EDDIE, SPRING AGUSTUS and HEZA SIZE UP to be checked. GENERAL CLOUD which was trailing was
checked as a result. Leaving the back
straight into the turn CROWN EDDIE was tightened for room and hampered. Shortly after GENERAL CLOUD contacted the
heels of SPRING AGUSTUS was checked and forced wider into the turn. In the front straight GENERAL CLOUD checked
out across the heels of CROWN EDDIE.
CHEEKY CHEECH was wide in the back and front straights. The greyhound GENERAL CLOUD underwent a post-race veterinary
examination and no apparent injuries were found. |

WALSH & CO 5th GRADE 520M SINGLETON was best to begin. MAYWYN’S YING was slow to begin. Shortly after the start LITTLE MADAM, DOWN
SIZED UP and SCAR’S BROTHER were tightened for room and checked. Entering the turn out of the front straight
on the 1st occasion MAYWYN’S COPY was tightened for room and
hampered. Shortly after SCAR’S BROTHER
was tightened for room and checked.
Leaving the back straight into the turn LITTLE MADAM, SCAR’S BROTHER
and MAYWYN’S YING were tightened for room and checked. |

GENTABLUE PET FOOD 5th
GRADE 431M SPRING TWIG was marginally slow to begin. Entering the 1st turn BEC’S
STORM and NAOMI ROSE HI collided resulting in both greyhounds being checked. SPRING TWIG which was trailing was checked
as a result. Shortly after LOTS OF
TIME was tightened for room and hampered.
Rounding the turn into the back straight BEC’S STORM shifted in and
collided with the running rail.
Shortly after LOTS OF TIME was tightened for room and hampered. Leaving the back straight into the turn BEC’S
STORM was tightened for room, checked and forced wider into the turn. Rounding the turn into the front straight
SPRING TWIG collided with BEC’S STORM resulting in BEC’S STORM to be checked
and forced wider into the front straight. The greyhound BEC’S STORM underwent a post-race veterinary
examination and was found to have suffered an injury to the near fore leg and
was stood down for a period of 10 days. |

marginally slow to begin. Shortly
after the start SPRING IT ON and NINA ROSE HI collided resulting in both
greyhounds being checked. THURRUNGO
and TELEX FINGERS which were trailing were hampered as a result. Entering the 1st turn SPRING IT
ON and NINA ROSE HI were tightened for room and checked. Rounding the turn into the back straight
SENNI LUCILLE checked out across the heels of JUST SIZE. Leaving the back straight into the turn NINA
ROSE HI was tightened for room and hampered.
Shortly after THURRUNGO was tightened for room and hampered. SENNI LUCILLE and JUST SIZE were wide in
the back straight. SENNI LUCILLE was
wide in the front straight. |
