MAIDEN HEAT 1 431M Even
start with the exception of SPRING ERNIE which was marginally slow to
begin. Through the 1st turn
ASTON DANGER, SHINING SUPREME and BOGIE COMET raced tight resulting in all
greyhounds to be hampered. Approaching
the turn into the back straight INDIAN GIVER improved onto the heels of BIG
DIPPA and was checked as a consequence.
SPRING ERNIE which was racing to its outside was checked as a result
of this incident. Both greyhounds lost
ground. Leaving the back straight
INDIAN GIVER was tightened for racing room, checked and lost ground. Rounding the turn into the front straight
UP THE HEAT and BIG DIPPA collided resulting in both greyhounds to be
checked. Shortly after UP THE HEAT
shifted out and collided with BOGIE COMET resulting in both greyhounds to be
checked. |

SKY RACING MAIDEN
HEAT 2 431M The start of this race was delayed approximately 3
minutes due to a hailstorm. ABBY
NORMAL and YOU JANE were best to begin.
AURIGA RAVEN shifted out shortly after the start and lost some
ground. Approaching the turn into the
back straight EMBER FLARE was tightened for racing room, checked and lost
ground. SPRING LILL which was trailing
made heavy contact with the hindquarters of EMBER FLARE resulting in both
greyhounds to be severely checked and lose considerable ground. In the back straight TRIPLE TWIST and AFTER
GLOW collided resulting in both greyhounds to be checked and lose ground. |

ALPHA FINANCIAL SERVICES MAIDEN FINAL 431M NIKITA’S
GLAMOUR, VICKI’S CHOICE and NANTUCKET KAHN were best to begin. Shortly after the start BINALONG ROAD was
tightened for racing room, checked and lost ground. Through the 1st turn PENTADOG,
NIKITA’S GLAMOUR, HARBOUR MISS, TARIQ KAHN and ESCALA all raced tight resulting
in NIKITA’S GLAMOUR and HARBOUR MISS to be severely checked and fall taking
no further competitive part in the race.
PENTADOG, BINALONG ROAD and TARIQ KAHN were severely checked and lost
considerable ground as a result of this incident. The greyhound
HARBOUR MISS underwent a post race veterinarian examination and no apparent
injuries were found. The greyhound
NIKITA’S GLAMOUR underwent a post race veterinarian examination and no
apparent injuries were found. |

Through the 1st turn BENTAXLE, HEZA NOIR, ON THE WALL and
THAT HOUDINI were all tightened for racing room, checked and lost ground. MAGOOLEY and SPRING DOTTIE were all
severely checked as a result of this incident and lost considerable
ground. In the back straight AGRO’S
THUNDER raced wide. Approaching the
turn into the front straight MAGOOLEY shifted in and contacted the running rail
and was checked and lost ground. The greyhound MAGOOLEY underwent a post race veterinarian
examination and no apparent injuries were found. |

TYRE SERVICE 5th GRADE 520M Even start.
Rounding the turn out of the front straight LITTLE MADAM was tightened
for racing room, checked and lost ground.
Approaching the turn into the front straight COSMIC CAPERS checked
across the heels of AUBERON and was momentarily hampered. |

GOLDEN VIEW GREYHOUND COMPLEX 5th GRADE 431M HASSIE’S HASSLE and NACEY’S HERO were best to begin. Through the 1st turn AUGUST
FLAME and GOTTA BE BLACK collided resulting in both greyhounds to be checked
and lose ground. SPRING DESTINY which
was trailing was checked as a consequence and lost ground. Approaching the turn into the front
straight SPRING DESTINY improved onto the heels of NAOMI ROSE HI shifted out
and collided with BANG ON TARGET resulting in both greyhounds to be checked
and lose ground. |

5th GRADE 431M Even start with the exception of JEN ROSE HI which was
slow to begin. Rounding the turn into
the front straight OPPORTUNE KNOCKA improved onto the heels of LOGAN CITY
shifted out and collided with JEN ROSE HI resulting in both greyhounds to be
checked and lose ground. Entering the
front straight SWIZZLESTICK and LOGAN CITY collided resulting in both
greyhounds to be checked and lose ground. The greyhound HEZA SIZE UP underwent a post race
veterinarian examination and was found to have suffered an injury to the near
fore dew claw and was stood down for a period of 10 days. |

WALSH & CO 3/4th GRADE 431M SPRING AGUSTUS was best to begin. Shortly after the start MAGGIE BENZ was
tightened for racing room, checked and lost ground. Through the 1st turn ONYA BENZ,
LIL’ BIT SPARKY, MAGGIE BENZ and KAMILAROI DUK all raced tight resulting in
all greyhounds to be checked and lose ground.
DODGY DANCER and DASHING CHARGER which were racing to the outside of
these greyhounds were checked as a result of this incident. Entering the back straight LIL’ BIT SPARKY
shifted out and collided with MAGGIE BENZ which in turn then shifted out and
collided with KAMILAROI DUK resulting in both MAGGIE BENZ and KAMILAROI DUK
to be checked and lose ground. The greyhound ONYA BENZ underwent a
post race veterinarian examination and no apparent injuries were found. The greyhound DODGY DANCER underwent a
post race veterinarian examination and was found to have suffered an injury
to the off fore dew claw and was stood down for a period of 21 days. |

GRADE 431M Even start with the exception of DROP SHORT which was
slow to begin. Through the 1st
turn DU HAST was tightened for racing room, checked and lost ground. Entering the back straight FABULOUS LENY
was tightened for racing room, shifted out and came into contact with DREAM
OF SPEED resulting in both greyhounds to be checked. JUST SIZE which was racing to the outside
of DREAM OF SPEED was checked as a consequence. Leaving the back straight FABULOUS LENY was
tightened for racing room, checked and lost ground. |

5th GRADE 431M SPRING AUDREY was best to begin. Shortly after the start FYRE GAL and
CARLTON CREW collided resulting in CARLTON CREW to be checked. STELLA ROSE HI which was racing to its
outside was hampered as a consequence.
Approaching the 1st turn FARMOR DIVA was tightened for
racing room, checked and lost ground.
Approaching the turn into the back straight THURRUNGO was tightened
for racing room, severely checked and fell as a consequence taking no further
competitive part in the race. BOGART
BLEND was hampered as a result of this incident. STELLA ROSE HI raced wide rounding the turn
into the front straight. The greyhound THURRUNGO underwent a post race
veterinarian examination and no apparent injuries were found. |
