Stewards Trial 1 – 431m The greyhound MAGIC PASS performed a
satisfactory stewards’ trial over the distance of 431m in a time of 25.29 and
is now cleared all tracks except Brisbane. |

MAIDEN 431M Even
start. Entering the 1st
turn HOSTESS WATKINS, LITE ME UP, MONLOR RON and DASHING BOND were tightened
for room and checked. Entering the
turn out of the back straight MONLOR RON and DASHING BOND were tightened for
room resulting in MONLOR RON to be hampered and DASHING BOND to be
checked. Rounding the turn into the
front straight DASHING BOND checked outwards across the heels of MONLOR RON
resulting in both greyhounds to be checked. The
greyhound HOSTESS WATKINS underwent a post-race veterinary examination and no
apparent injuries were found. |

SKY RACING MAIDEN 431M SPRING LAUREN was best to begin. TOP CLASS RUBY was slow to begin. Shortly after the start ROSDUE WRANGLER was
tightened for room and checked.
Entering the 1st turn SPRING ERNIE was tightened for room
and checked. Shortly after ROSDUE
WRANGLER and RIPPING ESCAPE were tightened for room and checked. SPRING ERNIE and TOP CLASS RUBY which were
trailing were checked as a result.
ROSDUE WRANGLER was wide for the majority of the event. |

GREYHOUND-DATA.COM NOVICE 431M KERRYZA GUNN was best to begin. FIRED UP AGAIN was marginally slow to
begin. Shortly after the start SPRING
BLONDE and NOVA PARTY were tightened for room and momentarily hampered. Entering the 1st turn SPRING
BLONDE, NOVA PARTY and SMASHNIAK STORM were tightened for room resulting in
NOVA PARTY to be hampered and SPRING BLONDE and SMASHNIAK STORM to be
checked. WILDASH GEE was wide in the back straight. |

NOVICE 431M The greyhound STRIKE OIL underwent a pre-race veterinary
examination and no apparent injuries were found. Even start. At the
start CARLTON CREW and GALWAY EAGLE were tightened for room and checked. Entering the 1st turn HEZA NOIR,
GALWAY EAGLE and KEYSTONE KAHN were tightened for room resulting in GALWAY
EAGLE and KEYSTONE KAHN to be checked and HEZA NOIR to be severely
checked. Out of the back straight into
the turn KEYSTONE KAHN shifted outwards resulting in STRIKE Oil which was
trailing to be hampered. Through the
turn into the front straight CARLTON CREW and ROSDUE CARBINE collided
resulting in ROSDUE CARBINE to be checked.
Entering the front straight KEYSTONE KAHN improved onto the heels of
ROSDUE CARBINE resulting in both greyhounds to be checked. Shortly after
KEYSTONE KAHN turned its head outward and marred the running of ROSDUE
CARBINE. HEZA NOIR was wide in the
back and front straights. Stewards advised trainer Mr. S Scott that the greyhound
KEYSTONE KAHN would be charged under Rule 69 Marring, 2nd offence,
3 months plus a satisfactory stewards’ trial 431m all tracks. The greyhound HEZA NOIR underwent a post-race veterinary examination
and was found to have suffered an injury to the back and was stood down for a
period of 10 days. |

O’TOOLE PAINTER NOVICE 431M ON THE WALL was best to begin. KANN PAKMAK and HAPPY GLEN were slow to
begin. Entering the 1st
turn EUROA AZAZ was tightened for room and checked. SMASHNIACK BARC which was trailing was
checked and shifted outwards as a result.
Rounding the 1st turn into the back straight SMASHNIACK
BARC was tightened for room and checked.
Shortly after KAAN PAKMAK was tightened for room and momentarily
tightened. Entering the turn out of
the back straight KAAN PAKMAK was tightened for room, checked and forced out
wide into the turn. SMASHNIAK STORM
which was trailing was checked as a result. The greyhound SMASHNIAK BARC underwent a post-race
veterinary examination and no apparent injuries were found. |

O’REILLY PET FOOD 5th GRADE FINAL 431M KNOCKER KNOCK and GLOBAL DEEJAY were best to begin. FARMOR SNIPPETS was marginally slow to
begin. Entering the 1st
turn GLOBAL DEEJAY and AVAMAY were tightened for room and checked. JUST SIZE and OPPORTUNE KNOCKA which were
trailing were checked. Entering the
back straight out of the turn AVAMAY was tightened for room and checked. Rounding the turn into the front straight AVAMAY
improved onto the heels of GLOBAL DEEJAY resulting in both greyhounds to be
checked. |

start OCTOBER SPRING, LIL’ BIT SPARKY and LOTS OF TIME raced tight resulting
in all runners to be checked. Entering the 1st turn MAYWYN IF
LUCKY collided with CHAMPAGNE BENZ resulting in that runner to be checked and
shift outwards. LOTS OF TIME which was
trailing was checked as a result.
Entering the turn out of the back straight MAYWYN IF LUCKY was
tightened for room and momentarily hampered. |

GRADE HEAT 2 431M SPRING BIG IRON and PASS YOU BY were
best to begin. ROSDUE GOANNA was
marginally slow to begin. Shortly
after the start REIYN CHAAI, SPRING AUDREY and DU HAST were tightened for
room and checked. Entering the 1st
turn LEHMAN BENZ was tightened for room and checked. SPRING AUDREY and DU HAST which were
trailing were checked as a consequence.
Entering the turn out of the back straight GREAT KNOCK THAT was
tightened for room and momentarily hampered. |

431M Even start with the exception of TINY TURBO which was
marginally slow to begin and NACEY’S HERO which was slow to begin. Entering the 1st turn TINY TURBO
and BUSH SPIRIT collided resulting in both greyhounds to be hampered. NACEY’S HERO which was trailing was
hampered as a result. Rounding the
turn into the back straight SPRING SHANGHAI was tightened for room and
hampered. Entering the turn out of the
back straight MAYWYN PETTYCASH was tightened for room, checked and forced
wider into the turn. Shortly after
SPRING SHANGHAI was tightened for room and checked. NACEY’S HERO which was trailing was
hampered as a result. |

TRACK & TRAIN MASTERS 431M The greyhound CHEEKY FREYER underwent a pre-race
veterinary examination and no apparent injuries were found. FYRE GAL and SHE’S ALL BLONDE were marginally slow to
begin. Entering the 1st
turn SOUTHERN FLOSS, SHE’S ALL BLONDE, CHEEKY FREYER and BOGART BLEND were
tightened for room and checked. CHEEKY
FREYER lost considerable ground as a result of this incident. Entering the turn out of the back straight
MAYWYN WILL WIN was tightened for room and hampered. FYRE GAL which was trailing was hampered as
a result. In the front straight SHE’S
ALL BLONDE bumped BOGART BLEND resulting in SHE’S ALL BLONDE to be
hampered. TECHNO LADY was wide in the
front straight. |
