TYRE REPAIRS MAIDEN 520M BLUE
ME was best to begin. Shortly after
the start PIZARRO and PANALO collided resulting in PANALO shifting out
colliding with STING ‘EM WASP resulting in both PANALO and STING ‘EM WASP to
be checked and lose ground. Shortly
after PIZARRO shifted ground and tightened the racing room of AUSSIE
DIAMOND. YEAH NAH YEAH was slow to
muster speed in the early stages of the race.
In the front straight on the 1st occasion PIZARRO continued
to shift in and tightened for racing room of WILDASH SEMI resulting in that
greyhound to be checked and lose ground.
AMUS UNLEASHED which was racing to the inside of WILDASH SEMI was
checked and lost ground as a consequence.
Rounding the turn out of the front straight AUSSIE DIAMOND was
tightened for racing room, checked and lost ground. YEAH NAH YEAH which was trailing made heavy
contact with AUSSIE DIAMOND as a result of this incident resulting in both
greyhounds to be severely checked and lose considerable ground. Shortly after STING ‘EM WASP improved onto
the heels of PIZARRO resulting in STING ‘EM WASP being checked and raced wide
at that stage. Approaching the turn
into the back straight AMUS UNLEASHED and PIZARRO collided resulting in both
greyhounds to be checked and lose ground.
STING ‘EM WASP which was trailing was checked as a consequence and
lost ground. In the front straight
during the later stages of the race PANALO shifted out which hampered the
running of STING ‘EM WASP. The
greyhound YEAH NAH YEAH underwent a post race veterinarian examination and
was found to have suffered an injury to the near side pin and was stood down
for a period of 10 days. |

O’REILLY PET FOOD NOVICE 520M Even start with the exception of ARABIAN STORY and IXCHEL
which were both slow to begin.
Rounding the turn out of the front straight SWIFT NIMROD improved onto
the heels of REAL CALL and was checked as a consequence. Approaching the turn into the back straight
GALLON was tightened for racing room, checked, shifted out and made contact
with ARABIAN STORY resulting in both greyhounds to be severely checked and
lose considerable ground. |

C2C CONSTRUCTIONS NOVICE 520M The greyhound
FARMOR DIVA underwent a pre race veterinarian examination and no apparent
injuries were found and passed fit to race. Even
start. Shortly after the start PEPPER
BEACH, RISING HAWKE and GUN POWER were all tightened for racing room, checked
and lost ground. In the front straight
on the 1st occasion JUSTIFIED was tightened for racing room,
checked and lost ground. Rounding the
turn out of the front straight FARMOR DIVA was tightened for racing room,
checked and lost ground. RISING HAWKE
which was trailing was checked as a consequence and raced wide. Entering the back straight BARCIA’S HUNT
and GUN POWER collided, resulting in both greyhounds to be checked and lose
ground. Shortly after RISING HAWKE
improved onto the heels of FARMOR DIVA and was momentarily hampered. The greyhound
SWIFT ENFORCER underwent a post race veterinarian examination and was found
to have suffered an injury to the near side wrist and was stood down for a
period of 5 days. |

GREG STENBERG VET SURGEON 5th GRADE 431M DECLAN’S BOY was best to begin. FIRE ALONG was slow to begin. Entering the back straight CIGARS ON ICE
was tightened for racing room, checked and lost ground. Approaching the turn into the front
straight TABBERER was tightened for racing room, checked, shifted out and
lost ground. CIGARS ON ICE and FIRE
ALONG which were racing to its outside were both checked as a consequence and
lost ground. In the back straight TABBERER and UNDER ADVICE collided on a
number of occasions resulting in both greyhounds to be checked. Entering the front straight FIRE ALONG and
GRAVITY WOLF collided resulting in both greyhounds to be checked and lose
ground. |

CARAVAN WAREHOUSE 5th GRADE 520M SOOT SPRITE, POCAHONTAS and SPORTFAN were best to
begin. BLITZ ‘EM, ASTON JADORE and
ASTIN’S WARRIOR were slow to begin. Rounding
the turn out of the front straight SOOT SPRITE and ASTIN’S JADORE bumped
resulting in both greyhounds to be momentarily hampered. Approaching the turn into the back straight
SOOT SPRITE and ASTON JADORE collided resulting in both greyhounds to be checked
and lose ground. The greyhound ASTON JADORE underwent a post race
veterinarian examination and no apparent injuries were found. |

a consequence and lost ground. Shortly
after RIGHT AS RAIN was tightened for racing room, checked and lost
ground. ARE YOU THERE which was
trailing was checked and raced wide as a consequence. Leaving the back straight SIZEABLE was
tightened for racing room, checked and lost ground. |

TIBETAN DREAM collided on a number of occasions resulting in both greyhounds
to be checked and lose ground. |

GRADE 520M Even start with the exception of JURY
which was marginally slow to begin.
Approaching the turn out of the front straight KNEW YOU WOULD and
BUBBLE GUPPY collided resulting in both greyhounds to be checked and lose
ground. Rounding the turn out of the
front straight SPLIT SYSTEM, BUBBLE GUPPY and ISLA’S STYLE raced tight
resulting in all greyhounds to be momentarily hampered. Leaving the back straight BUBBLE GUPPY was
tightened for racing room, checked and lost ground. The greyhound BUBBLE GUPPY underwent a
post race veterinarian examination and no apparent injuries were found. |

GENTABLUE PET FOOD 4/5th GRADE 431M FLAPPING GUMS was best to begin. Through the 1st turn MARG’S
MEMORY, ZABDON BLUEY, URBAN STREET and THRILLA MACHINE were all tightened for
racing room, checked and lost ground.
Approaching the turn into the back straight KAMILAROI DUK was
tightened for racing room, checked and lost ground. THRILLA MACHINE which was racing to its
inside was checked as a consequence and lost ground. In the back straight ZABDON BLUEY was
tightened for racing room, checked, shifted out and collided with THRILLA
MACHINE resulting in both greyhounds to be checked and lost ground. |

begin. Through the 1st turn
ALOTA DAGZ and DASHING CHARGER collided resulting in DASHING CHARGER to be
checked and lose ground. Rounding the
turn into the back straight TELEX FINGERS was tightened for racing room,
checked and lost ground. In the back
straight DASHING CHARGER commenced to give ground and finish a considerable
distance from the remainder of the field. The greyhound DASHING CHARGER underwent a post race
veterinarian examination and no apparent injuries were found. Stewards advised trainer Mr. R Attard that
the greyhound would be charged under Rule 71, Unsatisfactory Performance, and
was stood down to it completes a satisfactory stewards’ trial 431m all
tracks. |
