MAIDEN HEAT 1 431M The
start of the event was delayed due to the difficulty in boxing AURIGA
CINDY. Even start with the exception
of AURIGA CINDY and ME HAPPY which were marginally slow to begin and WILD
MISS JUDY which was slow to begin.
Entering the 1st turn LITE ME UP was tightened for room and
checked. AURIGA CINDY which was trailing
was checked as a result. Shortly after
ME HAPPY and SLIP MY MIND collided resulting in SLIP MY MIND to be
hampered. Through the 1st
turn LISA ROSE HI was tightened for room and checked. Rounding the turn into the back straight
MR. BELLISSIMO was tightened for room and checked. Shortly after WILD MISS JUDY checked out
across the heels of LITE ME UP and collided with AURIGA CINDY resulting in
both runners to be checked. Entering
the turn out of the back straight ME HAPPY was tightened for room and
severely checked forcing that runner wide into the turn. Rounding the turn into the front straight
ME HAPPY shifted outwards colliding with MR. BELLISSIMO causing that runner
to be checked. Over the concluding
stages MR. BELLISSIMO bumped ME HAPPY resulting in both runners to be
hampered. MR. BELLISSIMO was wide in
the front straight. After
the running of the event stewards questioned trainer Mr. G Draheim in regards
to the boxing manners of AURIGA CINDY.
After considering the evidence put forward by Mr. Draheim stewards
declared the greyhound ‘hard to box’ in its future events. The
greyhound ME HAPPY underwent a post-race veterinary examination and no
apparent injuries were found. |

2 431M ROAD TO FLAME and SPRING NAKANO were best to begin. Entering the 1st turn SPECIAL
SHOW and TOP CLASS RUBY were tightened for room and checked. Shortly after AURIGA RAVEN improved onto
the heels of FAMOUS MOLLY resulting in that greyhound to be checked. SPECIAL SHOW and TOP CLASS RUBY which were
trailing were checked as a result. |

was best to begin. At the start SISTA
MARGARITA was tightened for room and checked.
Shortly after the start BIG DIPPA and UP THE HEAT collided resulting
in both greyhounds to be checked.
Rounding the turn into the back straight BOGIE COMET was tightened for
room and momentarily hampered. YOU
JANE which was trailing was hampered as a result and forced wider around the
turn. Through the turn into the front
straight TRIPLE TWIST was tightened for room and hampered. UP THE HEAT which was trailing was hampered
as a result. |

At the start THUNDER OF FIRE was tightened for room and checked. Entering the 1st turn PENTADOG,
MAGOOLEY and DARK SMIFFY were tightened for room and checked. NINA ROSE HI and THUNDER OF FIRE which were
trailing were checked as a result.
Entering the back straight out of the turn THUNDER OF FIRE was
tightened for room and checked. Entering
the turn out of the back straight NINA ROSE HI was tightened for room and
hampered. Entering the front straight
MAGOOLEY checked out across the heels of ON THE WALL. SENNI LUCILLE, NINA ROSE HI and THUNDER OF
FIRE were wide in the front straight. The greyhound THUNDER OF FIRE underwent a post-race
veterinary examination and no apparent injuries were found. |

TYRE REPAIRS 3/4th GRADE 431M SPRING ELLIE and MASTER LAGOON were best to begin. Entering the 1st turn THIS TIME
MADDIE, MIRANDA ROSE HI, MAGGIE BENZ and ONYA BENZ were tightened for room
resulting in THIS TIME MADDIE, MIRANDA ROSE HI and ONYA BENZ to be checked
and MAGGIE BENZ to be severely checked.
Rounding the turn into the back straight MIRANDA ROSE HI was tightened
for room and checked. ONYA BENZ which was trailing was hampered as a result. |

TURN AND BURN and SPRING SHANAE bumped resulting in TURN AND BURN to be
hampered and forced wide into the turn.
UNIQUE KALEESI, BUSH SPIRIT and PETITE ZIP ZIP which were trailing
were checked as a result and raced wide into the turn. Entering the turn out of the back straight
TURN AND BURN was tightened for room and severely checked. The greyhound TURN AND BURN underwent a post-race
veterinary examination and no apparent injuries were found. |

outward. UNIQUE MOTIVE which was
racing to its outside was checked as a result. CALAMITY JANE which was trailing was
checked as a result. Approaching the 1st
turn SOARING HAWKE bumped DREAM OF SPEED resulting in that runner to be
hampered. Entering the 1st
turn DREAM OF SPEED checked outwards across the heels of UNIQUE MOTIVE and
collided with CALAMITY JANE resulting in CALAMITY JANE to be checked and race
wide around the turn. DREAM OF SPEED
was wide in the back straight. |

WHITE contacted the heels of DROP SHORT resulting in DROP SHORT to be
hampered. Entering the turn out of the
back straight MR. DEXTER was tightened for room, checked and shifted
outwards. SWIZZLESTICK which was
