Stewards Trial 1 – 431m The greyhound HEZA CLASSY SIZE performed a
satisfactory stewards’ trial over the distance of 413m in a time of 26.13and
is now cleared all tracks and must wear blinkers. |

MAIDEN 431M AURIGA
RAVEN, SPRING ERNIE and FROSTY BEJAY were slow to begin. Shortly after the start BURNING OAK and
MAKE TODAY COUNT bumped. On entering
the 1st turn AURIGA RAVEN checked out across the heels of SPRING
ERNIE. Through the turn into the back
straight FROSTY BEJAY and LITE ME UP collided resulting in both runners being
severely checked. Through the turn
into the front straight AURIGA RAVEN improved onto the heels of ALL THREE
GRADES and was forced to check out to avoid those runner’s heels. Through the turn into the front straight
SPRING ERNIE appeared to falter and became unbalanced momentarily. On entering the front straight SISTA
MARGARITA shifted out and collided with SPRING ERNIE resulting in both
runners being checked. Out of the back
straight into the turn FROSTY BEJAY commenced to weaken and tailed the field
taking no further competitive part in the event. The
greyhound LITE ME UP underwent a post-race veterinarian examination and no
apparent injuries were found. The
greyhound SPRING ERNIE underwent a post-race veterinarian examination and no
apparent injuries were found. The
greyhound FROSTY BEJAY underwent a post-race veterinarian examination and was
found to have suffered an injury to the off side pin and was stood down for a
period of 10 days. |

SKY RACING MAIDEN 431M RIPPING ESCAPE was best to begin. MIDORI HAWKE and MAYWYN ACCOLADES bumped at
the start resulting in MIDORI HAWKE being checked. On entering the 1st turn MIDORI
HAWKE, AURIGA CINDY and BINALONG ROAD all collided and were checked. Through the turn into the back straight TOP
CLASS RUBY was tightened for room and checked, shifted out and collided with
COSMIC DENLYN which was checked.
MIDORI HAWKE which was trailing was checked as a result. MIDORI HAWKE raced greenly for the
remainder of the event. MIDORI HAWKE
raced wide through the turn into the front straight. Through the turn into the front straight
AURIGA CINDY was tightened for room and hampered. On entering the front straight AURIGA CINDY
checked out across the heels of TOP CLASS RUBY. In the front straight TRIPLE TWIST checked
in across the heels of COSMIC DENLYN.
Over the concluding stages of the event TRIPLE TWIST improved onto the
heels of RIPPING ESCAPE and was hampered. The greyhound MIDORI HAWKE underwent a post-race
veterinarian examination and was found to have suffered an injury to the off
side fibula and was stood down for a period of 10 days. |

GREYHOUND-DATA.COM NOVICE 431M BITTA BLUE
was slow to begin. Shortly after the
start ZABDON CHEVY, GEM EXPRESS and COSMIC STATE all collided resulting in
GEM EXPRESS and COSMIC STATE being checked.
On entering the 1st turn BITTA BLUE checked out across the
heels of ZABDON CHEVY and collided with GEM EXPRESS which in turn was taken
out and collided with COSMIC STATE.
All 3 runners were checked as a result. Out of the back straight into the turn WHAT
A MESS was tightened for room and checked.
BITTA BLUE raced wide in the front straight. The greyhound
ROSDUE CARBINE underwent a post-race veterinarian examination and was found
to have suffered an injury to the back and was stood down for a period of 28
days. Mr. Terrence Chapman advised stewards
that he would now be retiring the greyhound from racing. |

NOVICE 431M ON THE WALL was best to begin. RED RIVER ROSE was slow to begin. Shortly after the start TROUBLING TIMES and
ANGEL SHOW bumped. On entering the 1st
turn ANGEL SHOW and NINA ROSE HI collided resulting in both runners being
checked. Through the turn into the
back straight ANGEL SHOW shifted out and collided with a SPRING BLONDE which
was hampered. Out the back straight
into the turn YOU JANE and ON THE WALL bumped resulting in both runners being
hampered. Through the turn into the
front straight NINA ROSE HI and ANGEL SHOW bumped on a number of occasions. Through the turn and into the front
straight HANG ON LADS raced wide. |

CLINT’S
CARAVAN WAREHOUSE 5th GRADE HEAT 1 431M HASSIE’S HASSLE and TORPEDO MAN were best to begin. SPRING SHELLEY and ROSDUE GOANNA were slow
to begin. On entering the 1st
turn NAOMI ROSE HI, EIGHT PINTS, SPRING SHELLEY and THUNDER CLAP all collided
and were checked as a result. Out of
the back straight into the turn EIGHT PINTS shifted out and bumped ROSDUE
GOANNA. In the back straight THUNDER
CLAP collided with the running rail and was checked. The greyhound THUNDER CLAP underwent a post-race
veterinarian examination and no apparent injuries were found. |

431M LOTS OF TIME, ROSDUE SPRITE and SPRING TRIXIE were best
to begin. Through the turn into the
back straight LADY PERLITA and HAPPY GLEN collided resulting in both runners
being checked. Through the turn into
the front straight COSMIC LAPTOP and SPRING TRIXIE collided resulting in both
runners being checked and SPRING TRIXIE being forced out wider on the
track. On entering the front straight
ROSDUE SPRITE and COSMIC LAPTOP collided resulting in both runners being checked. SPRING TRIXIE raced wide in the back
straight. |

BENTAXLE collided resulting in both runners being hampered. Out of the turn into the back straight
MAYWYN PETTYCASH was tightened for room and forced to check out across DAVID
LYNDAN’s heels. On entering the back
straight DAVID LYNDAN and COLD HARD TRUTH collided and were checked. Out of the back straight into the turn
DAVID LYNDAN, COLD HARD TRUTH and REIYN CHAAI all collided and were
checked. BENTAXLE which was trailing
was checked as a result. On entering
the front straight BENTAXLE and DAVID LYNDAN collided resulting in both
runners being checked. MAYWYN
PETTYCASH raced wide in the back straight. |

GENTABLUE PET FOOD 5th GRADE HEAT 3 431M BLUE PRINCE was slow to begin. SPRING DESTINY was best to begin. Shortly after the start SHAYLOR ANDRE was
tightened for room and hampered.
Through the turn into the back straight BLUE PRINCE was tightened for
room and checked and shifted outwards and collided with THOMAS ROSE HI which
was checked as a result. On entering
the back straight WATTA STEP US was tightened for room and hampered. Out of the back straight into the turn
WATTA STEP UP was tightened for room and checked. Through the turn into the front straight
SHAYLOR ANDRE checked out across the heels of TITLE. In the front straight SHAYLOR ANDRE checked
out across the heels of TITLE. |

MASTERS 431M TECHNO LADY was best to begin. Shortly after the start PREMIER BEAR and
KYLIEMALEE collided resulting in KYLIEMALEE being checked. On entering the 1st turn LIL’BIT
SPARKY and NO SHOW JONES collided.
SIZE WONT MATTER and PREMIER BEAR collided. On entering the back straight LIL’ BIT
SPARKY and SIZE WONT MATTER collided resulting in both runners being
hampered. KYLIEMALEE which was trailing was checked. Out of the back straight into the turn
HER’S NOT HIS shifted in tightening the running of NO SHOW JONES which
clipped that runner’s heels, fell and took no further competitive part in the
event. On entering the front straight
TECHNO LADY checked out across the heels of KYLIEMALEE. In the back straight TECHNO LADY commenced
to give ground and tailed the field. The greyhound TECHNO LADY underwent a post-race veterinarian
examination and was found to have suffered an injury to the near side hip and
was stood down for a period of 10 days. The greyhound NO SHOW JONES underwent a post-race
veterinarian examination and was found to have suffered an injury to the near
side hip and was stood down for a period of 7 days. |
