Report 1 – 431m The
greyhound LITE ME UP performed a satisfactory stewards’ trial over the
distance of 431m in a time of 25.69 and is now cleared all tracks except
Ipswich until after 26 December 2016. |

RORZ CRICKET AND CLOTHING MAIDEN 520M Even start with the exception of MY
MOJO, SHEZA JEWEL and NAUGHTY NALA which were slow to begin. Shortly after the start TRIPLE TWIST
checked across the heels of COSMIC COPY and was momentarily hampered. Rounding the turn out of the front straight
MUSTANG NOVA was tightened for racing room, checked and lost ground. Approaching the turn into the back straight
CHEEKY YESSAM shifted out and collided with MUSTANG NOVA resulting in both
greyhounds to be checked and lose ground.
In the back straight CHEEKY YESSAM and MUSTANG NOVA collided resulting
in both greyhounds to be checked and lose ground. Approaching the turn out of the back
straight MY MOJO was tightened for racing room, checked and lost ground. In the run to the finish SHEZA JEWEL
shifted out which hampered the running of MUSTANG NOVA. |

MY GIRL MACKENZIE NOVICE 520M FAMOUS MOLLY, WATCH OUT RENALD and
LOONY’S MATE were best to begin.
Rounding the turn out of the front straight WATCH OUT RENALD shifted
out and collided with VEE BEE DOOLEY on a number of occasions resulting in
both greyhounds to be checked and lose ground. In the back straight WATCH OUT RENALD was
tightened for racing room, checked and lost ground. The greyhound WATCH OUT RENALD
underwent a post race veterinarian examination and was found to have suffered
an injury to the near side hip and was stood down for a period of 10 days. |

REMAX ANNERLEY NOVICE 520M Even
start. Shortly after the start IMA
RUNAWAY was tightened for racing room, checked and lost ground. Approaching the turn out of the front
straight ITS’ ABOUT TIME and DIAMOND FLUSH collided resulting in DIAMOND
FLUSH shifting out and racing wide. In
the front straight DIAMOND FLUSH turned its head and made muzzle contact with
IT’S ABOUT TIME. Stewards
advised trainer Mr. L Lewis that the greyhound DIAMOND FLUSH would be charged
under Rule 69 Marring, 1st offence, 28 days plus a satisfactory
stewards’ trial 520m all tracks. |

MARKS OUTDOOR MAINTENANCE 5th
GRADE HEAT 1 520M MIGHTY NOVA was best to begin. Shortly after the start GREAT NORTHERN, ARE
YOU THERE and FLASH VENTURE were tightened for racing room, checked and lost
ground. Approaching the turn out of
the front straight GREAT NORTHERN improved onto the heels of SINGLETON
shifted out and collided with FLASH VENTURE resulting in both greyhounds to
be checked and lose ground. Shortly
after DUSTY WAY was tightened for racing room, checked and lost ground. Approaching the turn into the back straight
SCAR’S BROTHER and BALLISTICS collided resulting in both greyhounds to be
checked and lose ground. GREAT
NORTHERN which was trailing was checked as a consequence. Entering the back straight DUSTY WAY was
tightened for racing room, checked and lost ground. The greyhound GREAT NORTHERN underwent
a post race veterinarian examination and no apparent injuries were found. |

GJ WALSH & CO 5th GRADE HEAT 2 520M Even start with the exception of
MAYWYN’S YING, ROSDUE GOANNA and BLITZ ‘EM which were slow to begin. Rounding the turn out of the front straight
MINNIE MARTINI was tightened for racing room, severely checked and fell
taking no further competitive part in the race. Through this incident FAST AS, BIWOTT,
LIGHTNING WHITE, ROSDUE GOANNA and BLITZ ‘EM were all checked to varying
degrees with BLITZ ‘EM, LIGHTING WHITE and ROSDUE GOANNA all losing
considerable ground as a result of this incident. The greyhound MINNIE MARTINI underwent
a post race veterinarian examination and no apparent injuries were found. |

5th GRADE HEAT 3 520M Even start. Shortly after the start SANDAVE BELLAIRE
was tightened for racing room, checked and lost ground. Approaching the turn into the back straight
MY SUPER was tightened for racing room, checked and lost ground. Shortly after MY SUPER and CUT THE CAKE
collided resulting in CUT THE CAKE to be checked and lose ground. In the back straight SANDAVE BELLAIRE was
tightened for racing room, checked and lost ground. SWIFT NIMROD raced wide in the back
straight and again in the run to the finish. |

GRADE 431M LITTLE ACH CEE was best to begin. Through the first turn ALOTA FUTURE,
MAGICAL YESSAM, AVAMAY and RATATAT were all tightened for racing room,
checked and lost ground. Entering the
back straight RATATAT was tightened for racing room, checked and lost ground. Leaving the back straight NANCY’S HERO was
tightened for racing room, checked and lost ground. |

GRADE 520M Even start. Shortly after the start FROSTY AJAY was tightened
for racing room, checked and lost ground.
Approaching the turn into the back straight LARA SAINT improved onto
the heels of SWEET AS BETH, shifted out and collided with BOOM WARRIOR
resulting in both greyhounds to be checked and lose ground. Entering the back straight MAYWYN’S COPY
was tightened for racing room, checked and lost ground. Approaching the turn out of the back
straight FROSTY AJAY eased and lost ground.
Approaching the turn into the front straight LARA SAINT was tightened
for racing room, checked and lost ground. The greyhound FROSTY
AJAY underwent a post race veterinarian examination and no apparent injuries
were found. Stewards advised trainer
Mr. R Attard that the greyhound would be charged under Rule 69 (A) Failing to
Pursue, 1st offence, 28 days plus a satisfactory stewards’ trial
520m all tracks. |

CJ’S PROFESSIONAL TILING 5th
GRADE 431M Even start with the exception of
GOTCHA CHA CHA which was marginally slow to begin. Shortly after the start GET SHORTY was
tightened for racing room, checked and lost ground. Shortly after SPRING ELLIE and DARK SMIFFY
collided resulting in SPRING ELLIE being checked and lose ground. Entering the back straight HANG ON LADS was
tightened for racing room, checked and lost ground. In the back straight MADAM LOOPSY and
GOTCHA CHA CHA collided resulting in both greyhounds to be checked and lose
ground. Leaving the back straight HANG
ON LADS faltered in its stride and lost ground. Rounding the turn out of the back straight
MADAM LOOPSY was tightened for racing room, checked then shifted out and made
contact with the hindquarters of SPRING ELLIE resulting in both greyhounds to
be severely checked. GOTCHA CHA CHA
which was racing to the outside of SPRING ELLIE was severely checked as a
consequence, resulting in all greyhounds losing ground. Rounding the turn into the front straight
HANG ON LADS checked across the heels of GOTCHA CHA CHA and raced wide. The greyhound HANG ON LADS underwent a
post race veterinarian examination and no apparent injuries were found. |

431M LORIAN ADITI and THIS TIME MADDIE were
best to begin. Shortly after the start
ELEGANT STRIDER was tightened for racing room, severely checked and fell as a
consequence taking no further competitive part in the race. Entering the back straight SNOW RUNNER was
tightened for racing room, checked and lost ground. Leaving the back straight SNOW RUNNER was
tightened for racing room, checked and lost ground. Approaching the turn into the front
straight SPRING SHANGHAI improved onto the hindquarters of MISSED CONTROL
resulting in that greyhound to be checked and lose ground. The greyhound ELEGANT STRIDER
underwent a post race veterinarian examination and no apparent injuries were
found. The greyhound MISSED CONTROL underwent
a post race veterinarian examination and no apparent injuries were found. |
