ARABIAN TO GO was best to begin with NOIRE CHERIE, BINTANG LAURIE and FROSTY WITCH slow to begin.  Approaching the turn into the back straight ESCALA checked off the heels of NOIRE CHERIE causing NOIRE CHERIE to check WERINA BLUE forcing the greyhound wide.  Entering the back straight FROSTY WITCH checked off the heels of BLARNEY BOY.  Entering the turn out of the back straight BLARNEY BOY checked off the heels of ESCALA.  Approaching the winning post NOIRE CHERIE and POUNCING LILlE collided.

Even start.  Soon after the start WESTENDER and WERINA FLASH collided.  Approaching the turn into the back straight WESTENDER checked off the heels of WERINA FLASH causing WESTENDER to race wide into the back straight.  In the back straight FROSTY BEJAY checked off the heels of ARABIAN GO DANI.  Entering the turn out of the back straight WERINA FLASH brushed the running rail.  Entering the home straight MAGIC SWIFTLY brushed the running rail coming out checking DODGY CREDIT causing DODGY CREDIT to race wide in the home straight.

 

The greyhound MAGIC SWIFTYLY underwent a post race veterinarian examination and no apparent injuries were found.

SPRING HOUDINI was best to begin with WHITE EAGLE slowly away.  Soon after the start SPRING NAKANO and WHITE EAGLE collided.  Entering the back straight ORPHAN ANNIE and MAYWYN’S ROCKER collided.  In the back straight SPRING NAKANO was wide.  In the home straight MAYWYN’S ROCKER turned its head inwards and made muzzle contact with BLAZE ROSE HI.

 

The greyhound MAYWYN’S ROCKER underwent a post race veterinarian examination and no apparent injuries were found.  Stewards advised trainer Mr. R Essex that the greyhound would be charged under Rule 69 Marring, 1st offence, 28 days plus a satisfactory stewards’ trial 431m all tracks.
