Stewards Trial 1 – 431m The greyhound GAGAN NANCY performed a
satisfactory stewards’ trial over the distance of 431m in a time of 25.30 and
is now cleared all tracks except Ipswich until after 12 January 2017. |

BALBOA was best to begin while AURIGA CINDY was slowly away. In the 1st turn DIDDY BOY,
GALWAY KITE and CHIEF ROSE HI all bumped forcing CHIEF ROSE HI to shift out
and hamper SHAKEY RANDLE, GALWAY BLUEBIRD and COLLIE ROSE HI. Through the turn GALWY KITE collided with
the running rail and shifted outwards.
AURIGA CINDY was tightened entering the back straight. Entering the top turn AURIGA CINDY was
tightened and shortly after DIDDY BOY checked off heels. Through the top turn COLLIE ROSE HI checked
off heels. AURIGA CINDY was wide
entering the home straight. The
greyhound GALWAY KITE underwent a post race veterinarian examination and no
apparent injuries were found. |

SKY RAICNG MAIDEN 431M JANE ROSE HI and ARABIAN GO DANI were slow to begin. In the 1st turn general
tightening causing interference to all runners with ROSDUE JITTERBUG, JANE
ROSE HI and ORPHAN ANNIE losing ground.

GREYHOUND-DATA.COM MAIDEN 431M JALANCY LEE
and ROSDUE AVALON were best to begin. Immediately
after the start MYONE MORPHEUS and ARABIAN GO GO came together. In the 1st turn general
tightening resulted in interference to all runners with FABIARNA, ARABIAN GO
GO and MYONE MORPHEUS losing ground as a result. ARABIAN GO GO raced unbalanced for a short
distance afterwards. Entering the back
straight SPRING POLLY and FABIARNA collided.
Entering the top turn SUPER SCOOTER, SPRING POLLY and MYONE MORPHEUS
were checked causing MYONE MORPHEUS to lose ground. SUPER SCOOTER was wide in the home straight. The greyhound
FABIARNA underwent a post race veterinarian examination and no apparent
injuries were found. The greyhound
ARABIAN GO GO underwent a post race veterinarian examination and was found to
have suffered an injury to the near hind foot and was stood down for a period
of 7 days. |

NOVICE 431M ON THE WALL and LOVED UP were best to begin while STING
‘EM WASP was slowly away. In the 1st
turn ME HAPPY, NAVAJO WARRIOR, CASEY MINI ME and LOVED UP were all tightened
and became unbalanced. SPRING DOTTIE
which was following was hampered. KAAN
PAKMAK was wide into the back straight.
Entering the back straight LOVED UP checked off heels. Entering the top turn SPRING DOTTIE was
tightened and lost ground. Through the
top turn LOVED UP and CASEY MINI ME collided.
Shortly after, CASEY MINI ME checked off heels. |

CLINT’S
CARAVAN WAREHOUSE 5th GRADE 431M JANE’S JEZABEL was best to begin. In the 1st turn LIL’ BIT SPARKY
was tightened between SPRING BLONDE and JANE’S JEZABEL and was forced to
shift in and check NOT THE ONE and MR. TRANSPORTER and NOT THE ONE lost
ground as a result. In the back
straight NOT THE ONE improved onto the heels of PASSIVE PROTEST and both
greyhounds were checked. Approaching
the top turn HER’S NOT HIS was tightened and lost ground. The greyhound HER’S NOT HIS underwent a post race
veterinarian examination and was found to have suffered an injury to the near
side wrist and was stood down for a period of 7 days. |

GOLDEN VIEW GREYHOUND COMPLEX 5th GRADE HEAT 1
431M HO CHOI and MAYWYN’C COPY were slow to begin. In the 1st turn SPRING SHELLEY,
HARA’S JESSICA and MAYWYN’C COPY were all checked off heels. Shortly after, DECLAN’S BOY checked off
heels and collided with GIDDY UP PATSY.
Entering the top turn HARA’S JESSICA was tightened and fell, taking no
further competitive part in the event.
HO CHOI, DECLAN’S BOY and GIDDY UP PATSY which were following were all
inconvenienced. In the top turn
MAYWYN’S COPY and SPRING SHELLEY came together and were unbalanced. DECLAN’S BOY was wide entering the home
straight. The greyhound HARA’S JESSICA underwent a post race
veterinarian examination and no apparent injuries were found. |

431M ROSDUE SPRITE was best to begin. In the 1st turn HARA’S FLYER
checked off heels. Shortly after,
NAOMI ROSE HI and SPRING TRIXIE collided causing NAOMI ROSE HI to make
contact with the running rail and lose ground. Passing the catching pen REIYN CHAAI
checked off heels. Entering the top
turn NAOMI ROSE HI was tightened and lost ground. Through the top turn SPRING TRIXIE shifted
out hampering REIYN CHAAI. SPRING
TRIXIE was wide in the home straight. The greyhound NAOMI ROSE HI underwent a post race
veterinarian examination and no apparent injuries were found. |

GJ WALSH & CO 5th GRADE
FINAL 431M COOL VANE was best to begin. Shortly after the start CHEEKY CHEECH,
TRISHA NOLAN and HANNAH’S BELL all came together. ORANGE THUNDER and SPANISH HARBOUR collided
shortly after. In the 1st
turn general tightening resulting in interference to all runners excluding
COOL VANE. Entering the top turn
CHEEKY CHEECH improved onto the heels of MAYWYN ACCOLADES subsequently
shifting out colliding with SPANISH HARBOUR.
All 3 greyhounds lost ground as a result. In the top turn GET SHORTY was hampered on
the heels of SPANISH HARBOUR. |

GENTABLUE PET FOOD 5th GRADE HEAT 3 431M SNOW RUNNER was best to begin. In the 1st turn TOO MANY BILLS,
MIDNIGHT HUNTER, FARMOR SNIPPETS and MOORE REVENGE were tightened between
HOLYWOOD ROSE HI and YOU JANE causing MIDNIGHT HUNTER and FARMOR SNIPPETS to
lose ground. Approaching the top turn
HOLYWOOD ROSE HI was tightened as TOO MANY BILLS shifted out and lost ground
as a result. MOORE REVENGE which was
following was hampered as TOO MANY BILLS continued to shift wide through the
top turn. Entering the home straight
MIDNIGHT HUNTER improved onto the heels of MOORE REVENGE and both greyhounds
were checked. |

5th GRADE HEAT 4 431M EUROA AZAZ, TITLE and MAYWYN WILL WIN were best to
begin. Shortly after the start
SIZEABLE and WHAT A MESS came together.
In the 1st turn DUSKY SILK and EUROA AZAZ came together and
SIZEABLE was also checked as a result.
Shortly after, TITLE, ZABDON CHEVY and MAYWYN WILL WIN collided. THOMAS ROSE HI checked off heels and
shifted out checking EUROA AZAZ and SIZEABLE causing SIZEABLE to lose
ground. Entering the top turn WHAT A
MESS checked off heels. |
