On the turn out of the home straight CHEEKY YESSAM was wide. In the back straight AURIGA RAVEN was
wide. In the home straight AURIGA
RAVEN turned its head inwards making muzzle contact with LITE ME UP. The greyhound COWGIRL LUCY underwent a post race
veterinarian examination and no apparent injuries were found. Stewards advised trainer Mr. G Draheim that the greyhound
AURIGA RAVEN would be charged under Rule 69 Marring, 1st offence,
28 days plus a satisfactory stewards’ trial 520m all tracks. |

supported the greyhound and the greyhound likes to lead and missed the
start. He advised stewards he believes
this is the reason why the greyhound raced like it did. |
