is now cleared all tracks.
The greyhound AURIGA RAVEN performed a
satisfactory stewards’ trial over the distance of 520m in a time of 31.59 and
is now cleared all tracks except Ipswich until after 27 January 2017.

PHONICS shifted out checking STAR BEACH causing STAR BEACH to check VALERIE
MERLE causing VALERIE MERLE to falter and race wide on the turn. Entering the back straight ESSENTIALLY PURE
and PHONICS collided. In the home
straight SHAKEY START was wide. The greyhound PHONICS underwent a post
race veterinarian examination and was found to have suffered an injury
to the near hind back muscle and was stood down for a period of 10 days. |

best to begin with SPLENDID STAR slowly away.
Soon after the start NOT LIKE TOMMY, PRINCESS EMALYS, ALOTA FUTURE and
RED STEEL all collided causing those greyhounds to drop back sharply. Entering the turn into the back straight
GINGER BENZ checked off the heels of SHOW BOUND causing GINGER BENZ to check
NOT LIKE TOMMY and RED STEEL. In the
back straight RED STEEL was wide. In
the home straight GINGER BENZ was wide. Steward questioned trainer Mr. P Ruetschi over the performance of SHOW BOUND. Mr. Ruetschi
explained that he thought the greyhound would win although his other
greyhound won the week before and has improved. Mr. Ruetschi
advised stewards he did not support the winner this time. |

checked off the heels of RAMBLIN’ ROSE.
