MAIDEN HEAT 1 431M Even
start. Shortly after the start MAGIC
SWIFTLY and SHEZA JEWEL were tightened for room and checked. Approaching the first turn NORIE CHERIE
collided with MAGIC BENZ resulting in both runners to be checked. ESCALA which was racing to their outside was
checked as a result. Through the first
turn MAGIC BENZ checked outwards contacting the hindquarters of ESCALA
resulting in both runners to be checked.
CAPREGAS which was trailing was severely checked as a result. Shortly after MAGIC SWIFTLY checked out
across the heels of NOIRE CHERIE.
SHEZA JEWEL which was trailing was severely checked as a result.
Entering the back straight MAGIC SWIFTLY checked outwards across the heels of
MAGIC BENZ resulting and both runners to lose ground. SHEZA JEWEL and CAPREGAS which were
trailing were severely checked as a result.
Rounding the turn into the front straight JESS ROSE HI checked
outwards off the heels of POUNCING LILIE.
MAGIC SWIFTLY and SHEZA JEWEL were wide in the front straight. The
greyhound MAGIC SWIFTLY underwent a post-race veterinary examination and no
apparent injuries were found. |

SKY RACING MAIDEN
HEAT 2 431M BONKNOCKA PRINCE was best to begin. RUN CHUCK RUN and BONKNOCKA BEANS were slow
to begin. At the start BONKNOCKA BEANS
blundered and lost some ground.
Shortly after FLYING TWISTER contacted the heels of WERINA BLUE
resulting in that runner to be checked.
Approaching the 1st turn RIPPING ESCAPE was tightened for
racing room, checked and lost ground.
Shortly after FABIARNA and CHIEF ROSE HI collided resulting in CHIEF
ROSE HI to be checked. Entering the 1st
turn RIPPING ESCAPE collided with RUN CHUCK RUN resulting in that runner to
be checked, shift in and make contact with the running rail. BONKNOCKA BEANS and FLYING TWISTER which
were trailing were checked as a result.
Rounding the turn into the back straight BONKNOCKA BEANS was tightened
for racing room and hampered on a number of occasions. Shortly after FLYING TWISTER shifted
inwards and tightened the running of RIPPING ESCAPE and RUN CHUCK RUN
resulting in both runners to be checked.
Entering the turn out of the back straight BONKOCKA BEANS was tightened
for room and hampered. WERINA BLUE was
wide in the back and front straight. The greyhound RUN CHUCK RUN underwent a post-race
veterinary examination and no apparent injuries were found. |

ALPHA FINANCIAL SERVICES MAIDEN FINAL 431M SIX GUN and
ALPHA ZEPHYR were best to begin. At
the start LITE ME UP and TIGI BENZ were tightened for room and hampered. Approaching the 1st turn TIGI
BENZ bumped LITE ME UP resulting in TIGI BENZ to be hampered. Through the 1st turn FANTASY
FREEZE, SPRING POLLY and COLD NIGHTS were all tightened for room and checked
to varying degrees. LITE ME UP which
was trailing was checked as a consequence.
Shortly after FANTASY FREEZE and SPRING POLLY bumped on a number of
occasions resulting in both runners to be hampered. Entering the turn out of the back straight
ALPHA ZEPHYR was tightened for room and hampered. Through the turn out of the back straight
FANTASY FREEZE shifted outwards resulting in LITE ME UP which was trailing to
be forced out wide on the turn as a result. |

NOVICE 431M SPRING BLONDE and FARMOE WISDOM were best to begin. HUCKABEE was slow to begin. Entering the 1st turn SPRING
BLONDE shifted out and collided heavily with DIDDY BOY resulting in both
runners to be severely checked. SPRING
LILL and AVOID DAMAGE which were trailing were checked as a result. Rounding the turn into the back straight
ISSUE shifted in and bumped FARMOR WISDOM resulting in that runner to be
momentarily hampered. Entering the
turn out of the back straight LISA ROSE HI contacted the heels of FARMOR
WISDOM resulting in both runners to be checked to varying degrees. AVOID DAMAGE which was trailing was checked
and shifted out on the turn. Rounding
the turn into the front straight HUCKABEE improved onto the heels of LISA
ROSE HI resulting in HUCKABEE to be checked. |

TREMBATH
TYRE REPAIRS 5th GRADE 431M PREMIER BEAR was marginally slow to begin. Through the 1st turn FERAL LAD,
SHE’S ALL BLONDE and ON THE WALL were tightened for room and checked to
varying degrees. LAUREN LEIGH, PREMIER
BEAR and CARLTON CREW which were trailing were checked to varying degrees as
a result. Entering the turn out of the
back straight YOU JANE was tightened for room and checked. Shortly after PREMIER BEAR improved onto
the heels of ON THE WALL resulting in PREMIER BEAR to be severely checked,
fall and take no further competitive part in the event. CARLTON CREW which was trailing was
hampered as a result of this incident. Through the turn into the front straight
FERAL LAD checked out across the heels of LAUREN LEIGH. Rounding the turn into the front straight
LAUREN LEIGH checked out across the heels of ON THE WALL. FERAL LAD which was racing to their outside
was checked as a result. Entering the
front straight LAUREN LEIGH improved onto the heels of ON THE WALL resulting
in LAUREN LEIGH to be checked. The greyhound PREMIER BEAR underwent a post-race
veterinary examination and no apparent injuries were found. |

O’REILLY PET FOOD 4/5th GRADE 431M SPRING RECALL was best to begin. Shortly after the start LITTLE ACH CEE and
GLOBAL DEEJAY collided resulting in both runners to be checked. Through the 1st turn CHEEKY
CHEECH was tightened for room and hampered.
DASH OF FAITH which was trailing was checked and shifted out as a
result. LITTLE ACH CEE which was
racing to that runner’s outside was hampered as a result. Through the turn out of the back straight
CHEEKY CHEECH shifted inwards and collided with GLOBAL DEEJAY resulting in
CHEEKY CHEECH to be checked. Rounding
the turn into the front straight DASH OF FAITH shifted outwards resulting in
CHEEKY CHEECH which was trailing to be hampered. CHEEKY CHEECH was wide in the front
straight. |

5th GRADE HEAT 1 520M FROSTY ZERO was slow to begin. Shortly after the start MINNIE MARTINI was
tightened for room and checked.
Approaching the 1st turn AVAMAY was tightened for room and
hampered. Entering the 1st
turn TIZZYWING, COSMIC DENLYN, BEC’S DIAMOND and WITHOUT FAIL were all
tightened for room and checked to varying degrees resulting in those runners
to be forced out wider on the turn.
Through the 1st turn BEC’S DIAMOND contacted the
hindquarters of WITHOUT FAIL resulting in both runners to be checked. Rounding the turn into the front straight
BEC’S DIAMOND shifted outwards and collided with TIZZYWING resulting in both
runners to be checked. In the front
straight FROSTY ZERO was tightened for room and hampered. |

CONSTRUCTIONS 5th GRADE HEAT 2 520M ROSDUE GOANNA was marginally slow to
begin. Shortly after the start ROSDUE
GOANNA was tightened for room and checked.
Approaching the 1st turn COSMIC CAPERS was tightened for
room and checked. SPRING TRIXIE which
was racing to its outside was checked and forced out wide on the turn as a
result. Shortly after WILD MISS JUDY
shifted inwards and made contact with the running rail resulting in that
runner to be checked. Entering the
turn out of the back straight CAPTAIN THURSDAY was tightened for room and
checked. COSMIC CAPERS and WILD MISS
JUDY which were trailing were checked as a result. Through the turn into the front straight
ROSDUE GOANNA checked outwards across the heels of COSMIC CAPERS and collided
with SPRING TRIXIE resulting in both runners to be checked and raced wide
around the turn as a result. SPRING
TRIXIE was wide in the back and front straights. The greyhound WILD MISS JUDY underwent
a post-race veterinary examination and no apparent injuries were found. |

SURGEON 5th GRADE 431M NANTUCKET KAHN, JIGGLE SPLAT and THIS TIME MARY were best
to begin. NAOMI ROSE HI was marginally
slow to begin. Approaching the 1st
turn BURNING OAK was tightened for room and checked. Shortly after ROMAN ARMOUR and SPRING
HOUDINI collided resulting in both runners to be checked. HARRY BENZ which was trailling was hampered
as a result. Through the 1st
turn THIS TIME MARY checked off the heels of JIGGLE SPLAT and lost
ground. Rounding the turn into the
back straight SPRING HOUDINI checked out across the heels of THIS TIME MARY
and collided with HARRY BENZ resulting in both runners to be severely
checked. BURNING OAK which was racing
to their outside was hampered as a result.

FROSTY BROWN were tightened for room and checked. Shortly after JUST SIZE and MEGSIE MAC
collided resulting in both runners to be checked. Through the 1st turn FROSTY
BROWN was tightened for room and hampered.
