MAIDEN HEAT 1 431M AMUS
UNLEASHED was best to begin and BONKNOCKA BEANS was very slow to begin. At the start TIGI BENZ, NEDGO PRINCESS and
BOOK ‘EM bumped resulting in those runners to be hampered. Through the first turn NEDGO PRINCESS
contacted the hindquarters of TIGI BENZ resulting in both runners to be
checked. BOOK ‘EM which was racing to
their outside was checked as a result.
Shortly after BONKNOCKER BEANS shifted inwards, made contact with the
running rail and was hampered as a result.
Entering the turn out of the back straight AMUS UNLEASHED was
tightened for room and checked. AURIGA
BINDI which was trailing was checked as a result. Rounding the turn into the front straight
AURIGA BINDI shifted outwards and collided with BOOK ‘EM resulting in that
runner to be checked and forced out wide into the front straight. The
greyhound NEDGO PRINCESS underwent a post-race veterinary examination and no
apparent injuries were found. The
greyhound BONKNOCKA BEANS underwent a post-race veterinary examination and no
apparent injuries were found. |

SKY RACING MAIDEN HEAT
2 431M MAGIC SWIFTLY was slow to begin. At the start MAGIC DINGLE and NEDGO NAVY
collided resulting in both runners to be checked. Approaching the first turn MAGIC DINGLE
shifted inwards and made contact with the hindquarters of SHEZA JEWEL
resulting in both runners to be checked.
Rounding the turn into the back straight DODGY CREDIT was tightened
for room and checked. CAPREGAS which
was trailing was checked as a result. Over the concluding stages of the event
AURIGA CINDY and DODGY CREDIT bumped on a number of occasions. SHEZA JEWEL
was wide in the back and front straights.
The greyhound NEDGO NAVY underwent a post-race veterinary
examination and no apparent injuries were found. |

ALPHA FINANCIAL SERVICES MAIDEN FINAL 431M NOIRE CHERIE
and FABIARNA were best to begin.
FLYING TWISTER was marginally slow to begin. POUNCING LILIE was slow to begin. Approaching the first turn CHIEF ROSE HI
and JESS ROSE HI collided resulting in both runners to be checked. FLYING TWISTER which was trailing was
hampered as a result. Through the first
turn NOIRE CHERIE was tightened for room and checked. JESS ROSE HI and FLYING TWISTER which were
trailing were checked as a result. Rounding
the turn into the front straight BONKNOCKA PRINCE was tightened for room and
momentarily hampered. Shortly after
NOIRE CHERIE shifted outwards and collided with POUNCING LILIE resulting in
both runners to be checked. |

NOVICE 431M ME TARZAN, LEIGTH ROSE HI and HUCKABEE were marginally
slow to begin. Shortly after the start
LEIGTH ROSE HI was tightened for room, checked and stumbled losing some
ground. Through the first turn
SNOZZSTA and GALA SHOW collided resulting in both runners to be
hampered. Shortly after ME TARZAN
checked out across the heels of these runners and collided with ME HAPPY
resulting in both runners to be checked.
BRONCO BOY which was racing to their outside was checked as a
result. In the back straight SNOZZSTA
was tightened for room and hampered.
Rounding the turn into the front straight SNOZZSTA checked outwards
across the heels of ME TARZAN resulting in ME HAPPY which was trailing to be
checked. Entering the front straight
BRONCO BOY improved onto the heels of SNOZZSTA resulting in both runners to
be severely checked and stumble. ME
HAPPY was wide in the back straight.
BRONCO BOY and SNOZZSTA were wide in the front straight. The greyhound SNOZZSTA underwent a post-race veterinary
examination and no apparent injuries were found. The greyhound BRONCO BOY underwent a post-race veterinary
examination and was found to have suffered an injury to the off side pin and
was stood down for a period of 7 days. |

TYRE REPAIRS 5th GRADE 431M YOU JANE, THIS TIME MARY and SHE’S A DINGLE were best to
begin. At the start MR. TRANSPORTER
and CUT THE CAKE collided resulting in both runners to be checked. Through the first turn YOU JANE was
tightened for room and checked. HARRY
BENZ which was trailing and KING SIZED which was racing to their outside were
checked as a consequence. Entering the
turn out of the back straight YOU JANE was tightened for room and
checked. Shortly after KING SIZED
contacted the hindquarters of SHE’S A DINGLE resulting in that runner to be
severely checked and lose ground through the field. Through the turn into the front straight
SPRING HOUDINI collided with SHE’S A DINGLE resulting in that runner to be
checked. The greyhound SHE’S A DINGLE underwent a post-race
veterinary examination and was found to have suffered an injury to the off
side wrist and was stood down for a period of 14 days. |

O’REILLY PET FOOD 5th GRADE 520M FERAL LAD, DROP SHORT and CHILLED HEAT were best to
begin. MY SUPER was slow to
begin. Shortly after the start CAPTAIN
THURSDAY and BEC’S DIAMOND collided resulting in CAPTAIN THURSDAY to be
checked. Approaching the first turn MY
SUPER was tightened for room and hampered.
Shortly after CAPTAIN THURSDAY shifted outwards and collided with
GOLDEN MANNERS resulting in both runners to be checked and race wide on the
turn as a result. Rounding the turn
into the back straight FERAL LAD improved onto the heels of CHILLED HEAT
resulting in both runners to be checked.
Entering the turn out of the back straight DROP SHORT and CHILLED HEAT
collided resulting in both runners to be hampered. CAPTAIN THURSDAY and FERAL LAD which were
trailing were hampered as a result.
Rounding the turn into the front straight TIZZYWING and CAPTAIN
THURSDAY bumped on a number of occasions resulting in both runners to be
hampered. |

5th GRADE FINAL 520M SIZEABLE, FIERY BENZ and WILD MISS JUDY were marginally
slow to begin. Approaching the first
turn LADY PERLITA and THROTTLE ON collided resulting in THROTTLE ON to be
checked and shift out wide entering the turn.
Shortly after SIZEABLE was tightened for room and hampered. FROSTY ZERO which was trailing was hampered
as a result. Rounding the turn into
the front straight MINNIE MARTINI was tightened for room and hampered. THROTTLE ON was wide in the back and front
straights. |

CONSTRUCTIONS 3/4th GRADE 431M ON THE RIZE and SPRING RECALL were
best to begin. Approaching the 1st
turn LITTLE ACH CEE, SPRING DESTINY and DODGY DANCER were all tightened for
room and checked to varying degrees.
COST A QUID and SPLIT SYSTEM which were trailing were checked as a
result. Shortly after ON THE RIZE
shifted out and collided with SPRING ELLIE resulting in both runners to be
checked. Rounding the turn into the
back straight ON THE RIZE and DODGY DANCER collided resulting in both runners
to be checked. SPLIT SYSTEM which was
trailing was hampered as a result.
Through the turn out of the back straight SPRING RECALL was tightened
for room and hampered. COST A QUID and
DODGY DANCER were wide in the back and front straights. |

SURGEON 5th GRADE 431M SHE’S ALL BLONDE and ZODIAC SANDY were best to
begin. At the start JUST SIZE shifted
inwards and collided with NINA ROSE HI resulting in that runner to be
checked, stumbling and losing ground.
Through the first turn SPRING LILL was tightened for room and checked. AVOID DAMAGE which was trailing was checked
as a result. Entering the back
straight NINA ROSE HI was tightened for room and momentarily hampered. Through the turn out of the back straight
CARLTON CREW checked outwards across the heels of SHE’S ALL BLONDE and
collided with SPRING LILL resulting in both runners to be checked. JUST SIZE which was racing to their outside
was checked as a result. Rounding the
turn into the front straight AVOID DAMAGE checked outwards across the heels
of SHE’S ALL BLONDE resulting in both runners to be checked. In the back straight AVOID DAMAGE was wide. In the front straight SPRING LILL was wide. The greyhound NINA ROSE HI underwent a post-race
veterinary examination and no apparent injuries were found. |

BLUE, SPRING DORRIE and SPRING CRUSHER were tightened for room and checked to
varying degrees. Rounding the turn
into the back straight PENNYLESS shifted outwards resulting in JEN ROSE HI
which was racing to its outside to be checked and lose ground. PENNYLESS was wide in the back and front
