1.

TREMBATH TYRE REPAIRS MAIDEN 520M

HESA REBEL was slow to begin.  Shortly after the start AMUS UNLEASHED checked off heels.  In the front straight PALLINGTON and PHANTON HENRY collided and shortly after HESA REBEL was tightened.  Entering the 1st turn PHANTON PETE shifted in causing AMUS UNLEASHED to shift out and collide with HOT MOONLIT NITE and both greyhounds lost ground.  Leaving the 1st turn HOT MOONLIT NITE and AMUS UNLEASHED collided and were unbalanced.

O’REILLY PET FOOD MAIDEN FINAL 520M

PRATER’S PROMISE and WAZZA QUEEN were best to begin while JALAPENO, MRS POLETTI and SALUDOS were slowly away.  Shortly after the start KIOWA BROOK and MUSTANG NOVA collided as did JALAPENO and MRS POLETTI.  Approaching the 1st turn WAZZA QUEEN was tightened.  Shortly after, SALUDOS checked off heels.  In the 1st turn JALAPENO improved onto the heels of MUSTANG NOVA and both greyhounds became unbalanced.  Entering the back straight MUSTANG NOVA shifted wide hampering MRS POLETTI which was following.  Entering the top turn JALAPENO was hampered on the heels of KIOWA BROOK.  JALAPENO and KIOWA BROOK raced tight entering the home straight.

C2C CONSTRUCTIONS 5th GRADE 431M

LOVED UP and MILKY CHANCE were well away while FEARSOME MISS, FANCY FREEL and OUR PURSUIT were slow to begin.  BENTAXLE and ALADDIN’S ANGEL were tight in the 1st turn.  Shortly after, BENTAXLE checked off heels and hampered OUR PURSUIT which was following.  Leaving the 1st turn FEARSOME MISS and MADAM LOOPSY came together and both lost ground.  In the back straight FEARSOME MISS shifted out and hampered OUR PURSUIT.

 

The greyhound OUR PURSUIT underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have suffered an injury to the near side pin and was stood down for a period of 10 days.

GREG STERNBERG VET SURGEON 4/5th GRADE 431M

IONISATION slipped shortly after the start and was slowly away.  In the 1st turn KLOEIS PRIDE and CHEEKY CHANCE collided and were unbalanced.  Shortly after, VELOITY CLOVER was tightened and lost ground hampering KLOEIS PRIDE and ALEEAH JET which were following.  As VELOCITY CLOVER continued to lose ground IONISATION collided with this greyhound and both were significantly inconvenienced.  Approaching the top turn ISSUE was tightened and lost ground.  Shortly after, KLOEIS PRIDE and ALEEAH JET collided.

 

The greyhound IONISATION underwent a post-race veterinary examination and no apparent injuries were found.

ROSEWOOD COMMUNITY BANK AUCTION SERICES HEAT 1 520M

RENALD’S RIVALRY, SENOR’S SON and GALA SHOW were best to begin.  In the front straight BINERAY BOY checked off heels.  Entering the 1st turn GALA SHOW, BINERAY BOY, DORIE’S PICK and MR. TERRIFIC all collided and lost ground.  GALA SHOW and BINERAY BOY collided shortly after.  Entering the back straight DORIE’S PICK improved onto the heels of MR. TERRIFIC and was hampered.

ROSEWOOD COMMUNITY BANK AUCTION SERICES HEAT 2 520M

MISS MINAJ and GAB TAR were well away.  In the front straight MATRICULATE and GAB TAR bumped and were unbalanced causing GAB TAR to lose ground.  Shortly after, HUCKABEE contacted the running rail and was hampered as a result.  Leaving the back straight ZILLIE BEAN was tightened and lost ground.

 

The greyhound HUCKABEE underwent a post-race veterinary examination and no apparent injuries were found.

ROSEWOOD COMMUNITY BANK AUCTION SERICES HEAT 3 520M

DASH OF LUCK was best to begin.  SKY BOND was wide in the 1st turn.  Leaving the 1st turn BINALONG ROAD was tightened causing this greyhound to shift out and collide with INVERGARRY LADY and ARDEN STREET and all were inconvenienced.

Even start.  Shortly after the start SPRING MYSTERY was checked.  Entering the 1st turn SIZEABLE was tightened.  Shortly after, MIGHTY NOVA, SPRING MYSTERY and AVAMAY bumped.  In the 1st turn MIGHTY NOVA, SPRING MYSTERY and AVAMAY collided and lost significant ground.

 

The greyhound SPRING MYSTERY underwent a post-race veterinary examination and no apparent injuries were found.

SKY RACING 5th GRADE 520M

COOL VANE was best to begin.  HONEY HORNET and SPORTFAN raced tight entering the 1st turn.  Entering the back straight SPORTFAN was tightened and lost ground.

SPRING SHANAE and PRATER’S ACE were slow to begin while SPILLING SECRETS began awkwardly.  In the front straight SPRING SHANAE was checked.  Entering the 1st turn OCTOBER SPRING checked off heels.  Shortly after, WATCH OUT RENALD, ABBY NORMAL, FLASH VENTURE and SPILLING SECRETS all collided and became unbalanced resulting in SPILLING SECRETS, ABBY NORMAL and FLASH VENTURE losing ground.  Approaching the top turn ABBY NORMAL checked off heels.

 

The greyhound OCTOBER SPRING underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have suffered an injury to the near side pin and was stood down for a period of 14 days.
