Stewards Trial 1 – 431m The greyhound UMBRELLA HARRY performed a satisfactory 6 month trial over the distance of 431m in a time of 26.29. The greyhound NOTHING ELSE performed a satisfactory 6 month trial over the distance of 431m in a time of 24.98.

RACE REPORTS
1.	SKY RACING MAIDEN HEAT 1 431M Even start. Shortly after the start BLACK KOALA and LIL MISS PINKY were tightened for room and momentarily hampered. Entering the first turn FAB FIT was tightened for room and momentarily hampered. Shortly after LIL MISS PINKY was tightened for room, checked and shifted outwards colliding with DESERT CHILD, OUTLAW ANNIE and MONLOR DEENA resulting in DESERT CHILD and OUTLAW ANNIE to be checked and MONLOR DEENA to be severely checked and LIL MISS PINKY to be severely checked, fall and take no further competitive part in the event. Entering the back straight STAR RISE shifted out and contacted the hindquarters of POCKET BENZ resulting in that runner to be checked. BLACK KOALA which was racing to their inside was hampered as a consequence. In the back straight FAB FIT was wide. Entering the top turn OUTLAW ANNIE improved onto the heels of BLACK KOALA resulting in both runners to be checked. Shortly after STAR RISE and DESERT CHILD bumped resulting in both runners to be hampered. Rounding the top turn STAR RISE was tightened for room, checked and shifted outwards. In the front straight LIL MISS PINKY was wide. The greyhound MONLOR DEENA underwent a post-race veterinary examination and no apparent injuries were found. The greyhound LIL MISS PINKY underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have suffered an injury to the off side dew claw and was stood down for a period of 14 days.

Entering the top turn WILL TO WIN bumped DODGY CREDIT resulting in that runner to be momentarily hampered. Rounding the turn into the front straight NOTHING TO GIVE was tightened for room, checked and shifted outwards making contact with the hindquarters of DODGY CREDIT resulting in both runners to be checked. Shortly after LITE ME UP shifted outwards and bumped DODGY CREDIT resulting in both runners to be hampered.

Entering the first turn BINALONG ROAD and POUNCING LILIE were tightened for room and checked. Shortly after POUNCING LILIE shifted outwards and collided with SCORCHING CORNER resulting in both runners to be checked. Entering the back straight NEED SOME SPEED commenced to give ground and take no further competitive part in the event. Shortly after POUNCING LILIE and SCORCHING CORNER collided resulting in both runners to be checked. Entering the front straight POUNCING LILIE shifted outwards and collided with SCORCHING CORNER resulting in both runners to be checked. In the front straight BINALONG ROAD and BLUE ME were wide. The greyhound BELVEDERE BABE underwent a post-race veterinary examination and no apparent injuries were found. The greyhound NEED SOME SPEED underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have suffered an injury to the off side hock and was stood down for a period of 12 weeks.

4.	TREMBATH TYRE REPAIRS NOVICE 431M Even start. Shortly after the start KAAN PAKMAK and BACK ON TRACK collided resulting in both runners to be checked. Through the first turn SPRING NAKANO and COLD NIGHTS collided resulting in both runners to be severely checked. WILDASH ABBY and SNOW GIRL which were trailing were checked as a consequence.

Entering the first turn MILKY CHANCE was tightened for room and checked. BINTANG LAURIE and BONKNOCKA PRINCE which were trailing were checked as a consequence. Shortly after FABULOUS TRAV was tightened for room, checked and shifted outwards. Entering the back straight COSADO SUN was tightened for room and hampered. In the back straight JALANCY LEE and FABULOUS TRAV were wide. Entering the top turn BONKNOCKA PRINCE contacted the hindquarters of SPRING SHELLEY resulting in both runners to be checked. Shortly after COSADO SUN was tightened for room and checked. BINTANG LAURIE which was racing to its outside was checked and shifted outwards as a consequence. Rounding the top turn COSADO SUN contacted the hindquarters of BINTANG LAURIE and shifted outwards resulting in both runners to be checked. Entering the front straight FABULOUS TRAV checked off heels. In the front straight FABULOUS TRAV was wide.

6.	O’REILLY PET FOOD 3/4^th GRADE 431M Even start. Shortly after the start CIGARS ON ICE was tightened for room and checked. Through the first turn BURNING OAK checked off heels. Entering the back straight ZODIAC SANDY shifted outwards resulting in CALL ME AUSSIE which was racing to its outside and CIGARS ON ICE which was trailing to both be checked as a consequence.

Approaching the winning post on the first occasion CYNO STEIN was tightened for room and hampered. Approaching the first turn CHARRUA bumped SENTIMENTAL LADY which became unbalanced and shifted outwards as a consequence. RANGER DANGER and SINGLETON which was racing to that runner’s outside were checked as a consequence. Rounding the turn into the back straight CYNO STEIN was tightened for room and hampered. CYNO GENERAL which was trailing improved onto that runner’s heels resulting in both greyhounds to be checked. In the back straight WILD WEST WILLY was wide. Entering the top turn RANGER DANGER was tightened for room, checked and shifted outwards. SENTIMENTAL LADY which was racing to its outside was checked as a consequence. Rounding the top turn WILD WEST WILLY checked off heels resulting in that runner to be hampered and SENTIMENTAL LADY which was trailing to be checked.

8.	C2C CONSTRUCTIONS 5^th GRADE FINAL 520M BOGART BLEND and ESCALA were best to begin with LORD LACHLAN and CAPTAIN’S KNOCK slow to begin and ONE IN SIX being very slow to begin. Entering the first turn ONE IN SIX checked off heels and raced wide round the turn as a result. Rounding the turn into the back straight ESCALA was tightened for room and checked. OPPORTUNE KNOCKA which was racing to its outside and LORD LACHLAN which was trailing were both checked as a consequence. Entering the top turn ONE IN SIX was tightened for room and momentarily hampered. Rounding the turn into the front straight CAPTAIN’S KNOCK checked off heels. Entering the front straight CAPTAIN’S KNOCK and ESCALA bumped resulting in both runners to be hampered.

Shortly after LOOK THE PART and GUN DANCER were tightened for room and checked. Entering the back straight TOOKA HALF was tightened for room and checked. Entering the top turn LOOK THE PART was tightened for room and severely checked. Shortly after BENTAXLE was tightened for room and checked and shifted outwards making contact with SPRING LAUREN resulting in both greyhounds to be checked.

Entering the first turn ARE YOU THERE was tightened for room and severely checked. Shortly after ENKA ALLEN and ME TARZAN collided resulting in both greyhounds to be checked. In the back straight IMA TALENT checked off heels. ARE YOU THERE was wide in the back straight. In the front straight YOU JANE was wide. The greyhound NINA ROSE HI underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have suffered an injury to the off side hip and was stood down for a period of 10 days.
