Stewards Trial 1 – 431m The greyhound TWO
PARTS FREAK performed a satisfactory 6 months trial over the distance of 431m
in a time of 25.28. |

MAIDEN 431M MAGIC
DINGLE was slow to begin. In the 1st
turn GALWAY HYPERACT, DAB LIVY DAB and BLACK KOALA all bumped. Shortly after, BLACK KOALA checked off
heels and collided with DORIE’S PICK. The
greyhound DAB LIVY DAB underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was
found to have suffered an injury to the chest muscle and was stood down for a
period of 10 days. |

SKY RACING MAIDEN 431M DESERT CHILD, ZABDON MCGREGOR and AIM were best to
begin. NIKOLUCKY was slow away. Shortly after the start NIKOLUCKY was
hampered. In the 1st turn
WIGGLE EMMA and ROSDUE AVALON collided and were unbalanced. Entering the top turn WIGGLE EMMA checked
off heels. In the top turn NIKOLUCKY
checked off heels and collided with ROSDUE AVALON and LIT ME UP which was
following and all 3 greyhounds were inconvenienced. |

GREYHOUND-DATA.COM NOVICE 431M ROAD
CAM was best to begin. In the 1st
turn GALWAY EAGLE and SUPER SCOOTER were tightened causing TIGI BENZ to shift
out and collide with BIG SHOW HAWKO and both greyhounds lost ground. Shortly after, WILDASH DIVA contacted the
running rail and was hampered.
Entering the back straight SUPER SCOOTER was tightened and lost
ground. Shortly after, WILDASH DIVA
and GALWAY EAGLE collided causing GALWAY EAGLE to lose ground. In the top turn BIG SHOW HAWKO checked off
heels and collided with TIGI BENZ.
SUPER SCOOTER was wide entering the home straight. The
greyhound WILDASH DIVA underwent a post-race veterinary examination and no
apparent injuries were found. The
greyhound FARAHMAC underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found
to have suffered an injury to the near side dew claw and was stood down for a
period of 7 days. |

4th GRADE 431M Even start.
JAHIMIA, COOL VANE and RAGNAR LOTHBROK suffered interference in the 1st
turn and lost ground. JAHIMIA was wide
in the home straight. |

CARAVAN WAREHOUSE 4/5th GRADE FINAL 431M HOLYWOOD ROSE HI and BENTAXLE were marginally slow to
begin. BENTAXLE and HOLYWOOD ROSE HI
were hampered in the 1st turn.
LOVED UP was tightened entering the top turn. DROP SHORT and TRY COMB collided entering
the home straight. The greyhound PRINCESS EMALYS underwent a post-race veterinary
examination and no apparent injuries were found. |

GOLDEN VIEW GREYHOUND COMPLEX 5th GRADE HEAT 1
431M THIS TIME MARY and ROAD TO FLAME were best to begin. SPRING POLLY and FROSTY AJAY collided
shortly after the start and lost ground.
In the 1st turn ROSDUE BLUE GUM and NOT THE ONE collided
and lost ground. At the same time
SPRING POLLY and FROSTY AJAY both contacted the running rail and became
unbalanced. CUSTOM MODEL checked off
heels in the top turn. FROSTY AJAY
checked off heels in the home straight. The greyhound SPRING POLLY underwent a post-race veterinary
examination and no apparent injuries were found. The greyhound FROSTY AJAY underwent a post-race veterinary
examination and no apparent injuries were found. |

5th GRADE HEAT 2 431M FLYING PRINCESS was best to begin. In the 1st turn general
tightening resulted in interference to all runners excluding FLYING PRINCESS
and GET SHORTY with all greyhounds checked to varying degrees. As a result, COSMIC LAPTOP, MAYWYN IF
LUCKY, INDOMINOUS DANE and ADHARA STEEL all lost significant ground. INDOMINOUS DANE was tightened in the back
straight. GET SHORTY was hampered
entering the top turn. The greyhound MAYWYN IF LUCKY underwent a post-race veterinary
examination and no apparent injuries were found. |

WALSH & CO 5th GRADE HEAT 3 431M MIDNIGHT BURN and RAMBLIN’ ROSE were
best to begin. RHONDDA MINER, SPRING
DORRIE, SPRING LAUREN and HARRY BENZ all collided in the 1st
turn. WILDASH BAM BAM which was racing
to their outside was hampered. HARRY
BENZ and WILDASH BAM BAM were wide in the back straight. In the home straight CUT THE CAKE contacted
the running rail. WILDASH BAM BAM and
RHONDDA MINER were wide in the home straight.
HARRY BENZ and RAMBLIN’ ROSE were tightened over the concluding
stages. The greyhound CUT THE CAKE underwent a
post-race veterinary examination and no apparent injuries were found. |

GENTABLUE PET FOOD 5th
GRADE HEAT 4 431M FLYING MAIL and SPRING SHELLEY were best to begin. In the 1st turn THUNDER CLAP,
MILKY CHANCE and MIGHTY NOVA collided and became unbalanced. HOPEFUL BLUE and COOPOLLY BEACH which were
following were inconvenienced. HOPEFUL
BLUE, THUNDER CLAP, COOPOLLY BEACH and MIGHTY NOVA all lost significant
ground as a result of this incident.
Approaching the top turn SNOZZSTA contacted the running rail and
became unbalanced. HOPEFUL BLUE was
wide in the home straight. The greyhound HOPEFUL BLUE underwent a post-race veterinary
examination and no apparent injuries were found. The greyhound THUNDER CLAP underwent a post-race veterinary
examination and was found to have suffered an injury to the off side pin and
was stood down for a period of 7 days. Trainer Ms. G. Falla reported to
stewards the subsequent day that THUNDER CLAP was found to have suffered an
injury to the fibula and would be out of work for approximately a month. |

5th GRADE 431M SHE’S ALL BLONDE was best to begin while LIL’ BIT SPARKY
was slowly away. In the 1st
turn general tightening resulting in interference to all runners excluding
SHE’S ALL BLONDE. SHAYLOR CLEDUS and
COST A QUID collided and became unbalanced leaving the 1st turn. HER’S NOT HIS and SHAYLOR CLEDUS collided
entering the top turn. |
