COUNTY COIN was best to begin.  Shortly after the start ANOTHER NORRIS and ALPHA CHAOS were tightened as a result of SLICE OF CAKE and JIMARY SIESTA both shifting.  JIMARY SIESTA was hampered in this incident.  Entering the 1st turn LONESOME HERO shifted out hampering FROSTY BEJAY and PHANTOM PETE.  JIMARY SIESTA which was following was forced to race wide through the turn and lost ground.  In the 1st turn FROSTY BEJAY and PHANTOM PETE collided causing PHANTOM PETE to become severely unbalanced.  Entering the back straight ALPHA CHAOS checked off heels and lost ground.  Entering the top turn SLICE OF CAKE was tightened.

SKY RACING NOVICE 431M

It was a staggered start with FIRED UP AGAIN, SNOW GIRL, WEE REMI and DASH OF LUCK best to begin.  FIRED UP AGAIN and KAAN PAKMAK raced tight and unbalanced in the 1st turn and SHINTARO STAR was hampered on the heels of KAAN PAKMAK as this greyhound lost ground.  Approaching the top turn SNOW GIRL was tightened.

CLINT’S CARAVAN WAREHOUSE NOVICE 520M

SHAKEY START and SUPER SCOOTER were best to begin.  FI FI RUMBLE was checked shortly after the start.  In the front straight VELOCITY ALLY checked off heels whilst SUPER SCOOTER, FLYING TWISTER and MATRICULATE raced tight causing FLYING TWISTER and SUPER SCOOTER to lose ground.  Approaching the 1st turn MATRICULATE shifted in and collided with SHAKEY START.  Entering the 1st turn PHANTOM HENRY, FLYING TWISTER and SUPER SCOOTER collided and were unbalanced with FI FI RUMBLE, CYNO STEIN and VELOCITY ALLY that were following all inconvenienced as a result.  SUPER SCOOTER and VELOCITY ALLY lost significant ground from this incident.  Entering the back straight PHANTOM HENRY was tightened and lost ground.

FROSTY ZERO and PRATER’S ACE were slow to begin.  Shortly after the start FROSTY ZERO checked off heels while DUDE PERFECT and THUNDER OF FIRE were tightened causing PRATER’S ACE which was following to be hampered.  Entering the 1st turn DAISY RUMBLE and CZARNY were tightened and forced to shift out and AUSSIE DIAMOND and DUDE PERFECT that were following were inconvenienced and lost ground.  Shortly after, FROSTY ZERO and THUNDER OF FIRE collided.

GOLDEN VIEW GREYHOUND COMPLEX 5th GRADE 431M

SHAKEY RANDLE was a late scratching at 5:45PM on veterinary advice.

 

NAUGHTY JESS was best to begin while BINTANG LAURIE was slowly away.  In the 1st turn MAGIC SWIFTLY was tightened and forced to shift out and collide with FABIARNA.  As a result, MAGIC SWIFTLY lost ground and MIGHTY NIMROD which was following was checked and fell, taking no further competitive part in the event.  In the back straight BINTANG LAURIE improved onto the heels of WITHCOTT FLYER and both greyhounds were checked with WITHCOTT FLYER losing ground.  In the top turn WITHCOTT FLYER checked off heels.  MAGIC SWIFTLY was wide in the home straight.

 

The greyhound FABIARNA underwent a post-race veterinary examination and no apparent injuries were found.

 

The greyhound MIGHTY NIMROD underwent a post-race veterinary examination and no apparent injuries were found.

GET A LIFEBOUY was best to begin.  In the front straight CYNO MIRAGE and ZABDON BLUEY raced tight and bumped.  Approaching the 1st turn SPRING SHANAE was tightened and lost ground.  At the same time ZABDON BLUEY and CYNO MIRAGE collided causing ZABDON BLUEY to shift out and lose ground.  ARABELLA and CYNO GENERAL that were following were hampered.  In the 1st turn CYNO GENERAL was tightened as ARABALLA shifted in.

 

The greyhound ZABDON BLUEY underwent a post-race veterinary examination and no apparent injuries were found.

SNEAKIN’ OUT was best to begin while BINALONG ROAD was slow.  Shortly after the start KNEW YOU WOULD shifted out inconveniencing GALA SHOW, KIKEM STORMY and FROSTY AJAY and ELEGANT STRIDER which was following was hampered.  Approaching the 1st turn BINALONG ROAD and FROSTY AJAY bumped.  Shortly after, GALA SHOW improved onto the heels of STANKY LEG and both greyhounds were checked.

THIS TIME MARY was slow to begin.  Shortly after the start ONE DOLLAR and MAYWYN’S ACE collided.  In the 1st turn ONE DOLLAR, MAYWYN’S ACE, YOU JANE and COOL VANE were all checked and lost ground.  Shortly after, TOLL EVASION and THIS TIME MARY collided and lost ground.  Entering the top turn MAYWYN’S ACE checked off the heels of ONE DOLLAR and lost ground.  Entering the home straight MAYWYN’S ACE checked off heels and YOU JANE raced wide.

TOO MANY BILLS and INNER WISDOM were best to begin.  In the 1st turn DOLLAR AND CENT, CUT THE CAKE, LIGHTNING WHITE and IONISATION were all checked and lost ground.  At the same time TOO MANY BILLS checked off heels and SIVAMET which was following was hampered.  Entering the back straight CUT THE CAKE and LIGHTNING WHITE were checked and lost ground.  Over the concluding stages SIVAMET improved onto the heels of KIKEM ZEST and was hampered.

HAPPY EASTER 5th GRADE 431M

BONKNOCKA PRINCE and MADAM LOOPSY were best to begin.  Shortly after the start SHIMATTA, GAGAN CEE JAY and COMANECI were tightened.  Approaching the top turn SHIMATTA checked off the heels and collided with ON THE WALL, MADAM LOOPSY and COMANECI and all greyhounds lost ground.  In the top turn ON THE WALL improved onto the heels of MADAM LOOPSY and lost ground and GAGAN CEE JAY and COMANECI that were following were significantly inconvenienced.  Entering the home straight BOGIE TEEJAY checked off heels and was unbalanced.

 

The handler of the greyhound BONKNOCKA PRINCE Mr. P. Cauchi was reprimanded for the manner in which he boxed this greyhound.
