Stewards Trial 1 – 431m The greyhound
JIMARY MAGIC performed a satisfactory 6 month trial over the distance of 431m
in a time of 25.51. |

MAIDEN 431M Even
start with the exception of MADRE, which was slow to begin. Shortly after the start VELOCITY BARINA and
FROSTY BLACK JAY were tightened for racing room, checked and lost
ground. Through the 1st turn,
VELOCITY BARINA was tightened for racing room, checked and lost ground. Approaching the turn into the back straight
ROSDUE JITTERBUG and ARABIAN GO DANI bumped on several occasions resulting in
both greyhounds to be checked and lose ground. Rounding the turn out of the back straight
SHEZA SHOCKER and VELOCITY BARINA raced tight resulting in both greyhounds to
be momentarily hampered. ROSDUE
JITTERBUG raced wide rounding the turn into the front straight. |

SKY RACING MAIDEN 431M Even start with the exception of HOT which was marginally
slow to begin. Shortly after the start,
SHEZA JEWEL and GUNLEE GIRL collided resulting in SHEZA JEWEL to be checked
and lose ground. In the back straight
SHEZA JEWEL checked across the heels of HOT and was momentarily
hampered. Rounding the turn into the
front straight PEYTON JOYCE checked across the heels of DEVIL DOME and was
momentarily hampered. HOT which was trailing
was checked as a consequence. |

with the exception of DAD’S THE WORD and LITTLE LUCY, which were both slow to
begin. Through the 1st turn
MYMIONG FLOYD was tightened for racing room, checked and lost ground. DAD’S THE WORD and LITTLE LUCY which were trailing
were checked as a consequence and lost ground. Entering the back straight CHECKOUT CHARLIE
was tightened for racing room and was momentarily hampered. Approaching the turn out of the back
straight MAGIC DINGLE was tightened for racing room, checked and lost ground. The greyhound
MAGIC DINGLE underwent a post-race veterinarian examination and no apparent
injuries were found. |

5th GRADE 431M SPARK YOU UP was best to begin. COMPLETE CONTROL and SHARP SONGAR were
marginally slow to begin. Through the
1st turn COMPLETE CONTROL, SHARP SONGAR and WHAT A MESS were
tightened for racing room, checked and lost ground. Approaching the turn into the back straight
SHARP SONGAR was tightened for racing room, checked and lost ground. SHARP SONGAR raced wide in the back
straight. In the front straight during
the latter stages of the race ROAD CAM was tightened for racing room, checked
and lost ground. |

CARAVAN WAREHOUSE 5th GRADE 431M Even start with the exception of HOPEFUL BLUE and SNOZZSTA,
which were both slow to begin.
Approaching the turn into the back straight LOOK THE PART was
tightened for racing room, checked and lost ground. IT’S ABOUT TIME raced wide in both the back
and front straights. HOPEFUL BLUE
raced wide in the front straight. |

GOLDEN VIEW GREYHOUND COMPLEX 5th GRADE 431M KLOEIS PRIDE, GLOBAL DEEJAY, TARA MARRIE and SIRRAH
SIRRAH were best to begin. Approaching
the 1st turn TIP TIP HOORAY and GAGAN CEE JAY were tightened for
racing room, checked and lost ground. Through
the 1st turn, GLOBAL DEEJAY and TARA MARRIE collided resulting in
both greyhounds to be checked and lose ground. Rounding the turn out of the back straight
GAGAN CEE JAY commenced to give ground.
At the same time, TIP TIP HOORAY commenced to give ground with both
greyhounds to finish a considerable distance from the remainder of the field. The greyhound GAGAN CEE JAY underwent a post-race
veterinarian examination and was found to have suffered an injury to the near
side wrist and was stood down for a period of 10 days. The greyhound TIP TIP HOORAY underwent a post-race
veterinarian examination and was found to have suffered an injury to the off
side wrist and was stood down for a period of 10 days. |

4/5th GRADE 431M ALOTA CONTROL was best to begin. TOO MANY BILLS was slow to begin. Through the 1st turn KERRYZA
GUNN was tightened for racing room, checked and lost ground. KERRYZA GUNN raced wide rounding the turn
into the front straight. |

CONSTRUCTIONS BEST 8 431M PEBBLE BAY and SUPER LUIGI were best
to begin. Shortly after the start,
ZABDON CHEVY was tightened for racing room, checked and lost ground. Leaving the 1st turn PEBBLE BAY
was tightened for racing room, checked and lost ground. MASTER CORSAIR and CHULU CHULULU, which
were trailing, were checked as a consequence and lost ground. In the back straight ZABDON CHEVY shifted
out which hampered the running of MASTER CORSAIR. Leaving the back straight PEBBLE BAY and
CHULU CHULULU were tightened for racing room, checked and lost ground. |
