start. Shortly after the start ARABIAN
GO DANI and TOPAZ TAN were tightened for racing room, checked and lost
ground. Through the 1st
turn WESTERN DIVISION was tightened for racing room, checked and lost
ground. At the same time ROSDUE
JITTERBUG and BEHAVE YOURSELF collided resulting in BEHAVE YOURSELF to be
checked and lose ground. ROSDUE
JITTERBUG raced wide rounding the home turn. The
greyhound TRENCH VAPOUR underwent a post race veterinarian examination and no
apparent injuries were found. |

CLINT’S CARAVAN WAREHOUSE MAIDEN 431M MAYWYN PROMISES, SURFBOARD and DEVIL DOME were best to
begin. Shortly after the start ME MATE
MOUSE and DESERT CHILD collided.
Through the 1st turn LARRIKAN LASS and SURFBOARD were
tightened for racing room, checked and lost ground. Entering the back straight WALLOON MISS and
DEVIL DOME collided resulting in both greyhounds to be checked and lose
ground. LARRIKAN LASS which was racing
to its outside was checked as a consequence and lost ground. Entering the front straight BAGS IT’S MINE
turned its head and made muzzle contact with DEVIL DOME. Stewards advised trainer Mr. S Woods that the greyhound
BAGS IT’S MINE would be charged under Rule 69 Marring, 1st
offence, 28 days plus a satisfactory stewards’ trial 431m all tracks. |

GOLDEN VIEW GREYHOUND COMPLEX NOVICE 520M MISTER DEBONAIR was best to begin. WERINA LIGHTNING was marginally slow to
begin. Shortly after the start
PRATER’S ACE and WERINA LIGHTNING were tightened for racing room, checked and
lost ground. Shortly after SUPER
SCOOTER checked across the heels of BINERAY BOY and was momentarily
hampered. Rounding the turn out of the
front straight BINERAY BOY and CYCLONE BARCI collided resulting in CYCLONE
BARCI to be checked and lose ground.
Approaching the turn into the back straight BINERAY BOY and CYCLONE
BARCI collided resulting in CYCLONE BARCI to be checked, shift out and
collide with SUPER SCOOTER resulting in SUPER SCOOTER to be checked and lose
ground and CYCLONE BARCI to be severely checked and lose considerable ground. The greyhound CYCLONE BARCI underwent a post race
veterinarian examination and no apparent injuries were found. |

WALSH & CO 5th GRADE 431M MAKE TODAY COUNT and GOTCHA CHA CHA were best to
begin. ZIPPING JOHNNY was slow to
begin. Shortly after the start DASH OF
LUCK, ALLPA MAMA, BILLY BEAN and PORT LISA raced tight resulting in all
greyhounds being checked to varying degrees.
Through the 1st turn DASH OF LUCK, ALLPA MAMA, BILLY BEAN
and PORT LISA were all tightened for racing room, checked and lost
ground. Leaving the back straight
ZIPPING JOHNNY was tightened for racing room, checked and lost ground. GOTCHA CHA CHA raced wide for the majority
of the race. |

GENTABLUE PET FOOD 4/5th GRADE 520M ZABDON LAMBO and SHEZA GOOD SIZE were best to begin. Approaching the turn out of the front
straight MURBAH GOLD checked across the heels of ZABDON LAMBO and then
collided with SPRING MARSHALL resulting in both greyhounds to be checked and
lose ground. Entering the back
straight AURIGA BINDI was tightened for racing room, checked and lost
ground. Approaching the turn into the
front straight SPRING MARSHALL was tightened for racing room, checked and
lost ground. In the front straight
during the run to the finish SPRING MARSHALL shifted out which hampered the
running of BOOM WARRIOR. |

JOHN PAY MEMORIAL 5th GRADE HEAT 1 520M Even start with the exception of DROP SHORT which was
slow to begin. Shortly after the start
TOBI TINKLER and WATCH OUT RENALD were tightened for racing room, checked and
lost ground. Shortly after LOVE SHAK
was tightened for racing room, checked and lost ground. Rounding the turn out of the front straight
WATCH OUT RENALD improved onto the heels of PRATER’S PROMISE resulting in
both greyhounds to be checked and lose ground. Approaching the turn into the back straight
PRATER’S PROMISE and WATCH OUT RENALD collided resulting in both greyhounds
to be checked and lose ground. |

HEAT 2 520M LOVED UP and FLAPPING GUMS were best
to begin. Shortly after the start
OUTBACK SUNSHINE and MATRICULATE collided.
NAUGHTY NALA which was racing to outside of MATRICULATE was checked as
a result of this incident. In the
front straight on the 1st occasion OUTBACK SUNSHINE was tightened
for racing room, checked and lost ground.
Rounding the turn out of the front straight SKY BOND and MATRICULATE
collided resulting in both greyhounds to be checked and lose ground. Entering the front straight OUTBACK SUNSHINE
checked across the heels of NAUGHTY NALA and was momentarily hampered. |

veterinarian examination and no apparent injuries were found and was passed
fit to race. COOL VANE, BOGIE TEEJAY and NAUGHTY JESS were best to
begin. TOO MANY BILLS, THIS TIME
MADDIE and TWO PARTS FREAK were slow to begin. Shortly after the start PEBBLE BAY and THIS
TIME MADDIE collided. Through the 1st
turn CHOC LATTE CLOUD and BOGIE TEEJAY collided. Shortly after THIS TIME MADDIE was
tightened for racing room, checked and lost ground. Rounding the turn into the front straight
BOGIE TEEJAY was tightened for racing room, checked and lost ground. |

LEEROY ROGUE was tightened for racing room, checked and lost ground. At the same time TORPEDO MAN and BLACK AMEX
collided on a number of occasions which resulting in BLACK AMEX to be checked
and lose ground. Leaving the back
straight MINNIE MARTINI was tightened for racing room, checked and lost
ground. LEEROY ROGUE raced wider
rounding the turn into the front straight. |
